About Location Based Task Reminder
Location-tagged tasks will ensure you never forget to do something important again. Simple, yet powerful interface. User specifies task description along with an alert radius.
Similar location aware applications may drain your battery, this app is optimized by having a CPU-only WakeLock long enough to obtain user location along with a timeout to protect precious battery time. Furthermore, user may select how often to check for nearby tasks depending on individual needs.
User can add new tasks by manually typing in an address or by selecting a point in map. Fully incorporated Google Maps Android API v2. As soon as you come close to any predefined task, the phone will alert you by turning on the screen and vibrating. Tasks may be dismissed or shown in the map for removal.

Very useful when I went on vacation; planned all the tourist locations I wanted to visit and was reminded timely as we approached every place. That was just my use but I'm sure this app has plenty of other scenarios were it would be helpful. Overall, works just as described, well done!

Yep, it's cheap, but what do you get for your money, try Location Aware instead, which has a MUCH better UI, -- unlike 90% of apps though there's no way to tell what you're really getting without buying it, and Play makes it so hard to get refunds, either burying info in pages of useless info, including OS phone numbers. Location Aware much better -- graphics, features, ease of editing etc etc. Don't waste your money on this rubbish -- it'll do A job, but not the way you want it done, as pleasantly as you want it done. No changes in 8 months??? When deciding, ask yourself,

Works as advertised. A well thought out app. Finally an app that will allow the user to tap the map to create a task. I can now create tasks for areas I am not currently in with a simple tap and hold on the map location. Repeating vibration is excellent. Will never miss a reminder. Love the fact that I control radius for each task as well as polling frequency. Brilliant.
