001 Taxis Oxford

I had it installed and used it for months but today it required me to register again and it wouldn't work. I rang them and their only suggestion was to uninstall and reinstall which doesn't work either. So now I've changed to a different company

Got a 40 minute wait for a taxi, when it arrived the driver told me he hadn't had a job for an hour and that it's much better to call than use the app if in a hurry.

It seems that the communication on the app is not correct.Apparently sends incorrect text message to say your car has been dispatched when it's not . This information was given to me by a man on the main switchboard.

Can not get the registration key have tried uninstalling and still does not work

The taxi arrived literally a minute after I booked in and the driver was very nice.

I can't add my debit card details

Booking UX pleasant and efficient, havent tried credit cards yet. Much better than phoning the dispatcher, especially when without reception.

4 digit passcode never came in.

After some problems after the upgrade this seems to be working again now.

I use taxis in oxford every week. Tried 4 times to set up a trade account under my (large multi national) company name, they dont even reply or get in touch... Booked rides via the app, - 2x 001 taxis right next to me, they book me one across town and heading in the wrong direction. Can not get them to book with either of the cars im next. Multiple other bookings have gone in a similar fashion. Totally unreliable

Can't register or use the app because the 4 digit pass code isn't being sent (tried many times with country code and without)

Poor. Update has removed the ability to update via account, and no warning of this.

I book a taxi. Someone else gets in. Driver asks 'is this *my surname*', they say yes. While I'm still waiting I get a receipt for £13. They do try and rectify the problem by refunding me in cash but the whole ordeal takes 1 hour!

I have booked twice and within 5 minutes I got the taxi. Many thanks for your service. It is really a fantastic and brilliant application.

Not even a beta version, more like an unstable alpha. Needs a lot more work.

In the old app you'd book a cab and it would come. Booked a cab tonight and when I called to query why it was late it was clear that one hadn't even been sent. So just use your phone instead (and probably best to call a different company).

It may look like you've successfully booked a taxi but don't bet on the taxi turning up at the booked time. Probably better off phoning

Can't book destination or use your registered credit card to pay anymore. Not very impressed really.

Got a 001 taxi this morning to go to work, pre booked it from abingdon to oxford, my driver arrived 2 minutes early and was polite and chatty with a good sence of humor. Was happy with the service and would definitely recommend them again.

Less features than before!

I booked a taxi for 8am and received a confirmation text. At 8:30 and 9:00 two taxis had arrived, angrily banging on my door long after I'd just got the bus. At 8:05 the app told me a taxi would be dispatched soon and to keep checking. I called and was told no taxi would be coming and the app should have told me my booking was cancelled. Clearly it was not, simply moved to after my 8:30 interview.

Before the update you could add card details for quick and easy payment, that's not possible anymore! Fix and you get your rating back. Booking works fine.

Doesn't work at all

A worthless app. Although the confirmations come to your email, the taxi almost never arrives 2 out of 7 times. Missed the train & important meeting.

Ordered a taxi using the 001 app, so was confused when a Royal Cars taxi arrived. Apparently, they've merged. I've now uninstalled the app.

Continues to drain your battery heavily until you close it!

It's terrible at locating where you are, and can never find my home address when I try to fill in the destination.

Sucks battery

Keeps polling location until you manually close the app, also never works unless on WiFi.

Can't find my location. Options abysmal. No clear way to override address options and put in addresses manually. Frustrating.

Previous app still on device but stopped working. Found this new one by chance - most users of old one will still be in the dark. This new app crashes a lot, particularly if gps is turned off. That said, did manage to book and have taxi using it.

Quick and easy to use. Includes the ability to track your taxi so you know exactly where your driver is.
