It is so easy to use

It's a great app. Works exactly as advertised... The one thing is that the quick settings button is sometimes misleading. On occasion I find that the icon is grayed even when the camera is still on and accessible. It's clear that its not supposed to be gray as there's no slash through it like when it's really off, but it is a bit confusing sometimes.

Unfortunately after installing this app and applying the lens cap my camera was still consuming Ram and was listed in the running apps list. Samsung Galaxy Alpha w/ Android Lollipop

It's the first app I found that blocks google play, browsers and others that opens the camera every time you open them. This is exacly what I wanted and I couldn't do with others.

It's not blocking the camera, I keep getting photoed like a damn porn star. They're overriding that Administrator Privledge. Is there anything someone can do to block the camera, and only use when you want?

If it's not working for you,put a bandaid over your camera.* Time for the bandaid... widget now working at 50%

Works great. Only issue I came across is widget must be disabled to turn on flashlight. Once flashlight is on, widget can be enabled again. LG G3 (LS990), Vanir 6.0 ROM.

It works, it's simple, just how it should be! The only feature request I'd be asking for is the widget to work with the Sony Z5 Style Cover. Top marks all the same though.

Works as written. However had difficulty setting up the nougat notification icon as it was crashing the app every time. Had to repeat process thrice to get it to work. Edit: Is there any way to put cap on front camera while the back camera is open and also the vice versa situation?

Broke my use of the camera even after turning off lens cap, removing administrator priveliges and wiping cache and davlik from recovery. I guess I'll have to reflash my OS. STEER CLEAR.

Perfect!! This app does just want I wanted it to do.. stops your camera from accidentally activating in your purse or pocket! Easy to use.. Thanks for a great easy app!

Can't uninstall it from device. It's permanently in control of your camera and can not be turned off, disabled, or uninstalled. Seriously, don't get this app. It can watch you and you can't do anything about it except turn off your phone.

Hat's off to app developer/contributors for creating a clean, straightforward and reliable privacy tool that merits 10 stars as stands in this day and age of excessive embedded data mining app permissions and data gorging pop up Viagra ads .... lol ;) ...good to know that even though I cant get rid of "Google Play Services for Instant Apps" which just like the "non instant" version, I'd prefer to not have apps that are "required" just to run their other own apps with 132 permissions (including heartrate, bloodtyping and the soul of your firstborn) in case Googoo-analytics didnt catch what bodywash scent, brand packaging and the total volume that was applied during your 6 min 34 sec 102 degree shower@7:18am while not allowing any actual user controls that could interfere with imperative world domination data collection all for just an additional 200MG storage and persistent RAM data/battery drainage..... I want to trust you, but I can't fathom why such a flawless app is free. Why aren't you monetizing this? Amazingly when it comes to security, I'd feel a bit more at ease if you charged for a Pro version. The app itself is almost too good to be true. Edit: I will gladly buy the pro version if you decide to create it. Thanks dev.

Unfortunately the one star isn't for the functionality of the app because i didn't get that far. I have a Pixel C running 7.1.1, and the accessibility mode cannot be confirmed to authorize accessibility over the device's camera functionality. It mentions within your app notifications for 7.1 ,so i thought i would be fine using this, but unfortunately not, i don't mind at all changing the rating and donating a few pounds if a remedy is put in place for this, as every last other app including yours doesn't either support the platform, or even this particular device. I've personally always used a camera block and microphone block, but I've ran out of options besides some electrical tape, help a paranoid man out will you, and see if you can implement an update to fix this please?

Perfect! Love the app, love the widget, love the simplicity of it all. And all these features without ads, unlike similar apps. This gets an easy 5 stars.

So far it seems decent. Staying secure as you can in a high-tech world is always a good idea.

Ok just slightly tricky to uninstall but it did the job and the author did respond to the initial feedback with a helpful update and mail
