Foscam IP Cam Viewer by OWLR

It's a good app. I have used it for a while and pay for the motion features, now they do not work. My camera is viewable outside the network. But when I press to configure motion it spins and nothing happens. Any help would be much appreciated, as I said I like the app what will remove payments if not repaired.

The app itself is very good, it found my cameras automatically. The issue I have is with motion detection. There needs to be the ability to adjust the zone, which this app currently does not possess. I have a sliver of the street in my camera view and I get a notification everytime a car drives down the street.

This app has worked for me when most of the others have failed! Yes it's hard to sort the settings out with some cameras but that's often the camera and which router you have. This app just keeps on going even with 2G coverage that's really something you know. Well done.

Well this is how an IP camera app should be. Easy setup. Finds your cameras & sets them up. The Foscam apps are a nightmare. Never could get them working outside my network. This app did it all by itself with a few clicks of my finger. Very pleased with this app. Thank you for this. This is the app you want to download.

Not sure what they did recently, but the app is broken. Cannot connect from outside. I noticed RTSP port has changed to "secure port". Not sure if that's the problem.

Good app except cannot connect to cameras remotely. Contacted support 3 times and get automated responses. Faq does not solve my issues. Would be 5 stars if I could get remote connections to work. Update now I paid for the subscription and I can't control alerts at all. Will delete this app soon if they don't fix it respond to support help. Very frustrating.

There were at least 2 versions of this app on the play store, the other one couldn't connect to my camera but this one works well with it, except that the audio is listen-only; push-to-talk doesn't seem to work. I don't know if the Foscam even supports it. But that would have been a bonus - I am glad that the monitoring features work as well as they do.

I discovered this range of apps purely by accident and what a difference it's made to my use of cameras. It's slick and is super easy to set up. Ditch the others this is the only one you need.

I dont agree with this app being rated higher than Foscams own native app. It takes a while for Owlr to connect and when it does the feed is slow. I get constant "Difficulty with connecting to Camera" messages amd it takes a few retries to finally work. This isnt much better than the Foscam app which has actually improved after a few updates.

Very easy to setup use with my 4 year old foscam FI9831W. The other apps I tried require you to know and enter the IP address of the camera, but Owlr magically just finds it instantly. I don't know the resolution of the live feed but it's just as clear as the 720p option on the camera's built in web interface.

Wanted to like this app but it doesn't support zoom on any of my foscams which have zoom and that function is supported on every other app. Also slow to connect

UPDATE: Stopt working, cannot access from external anymore. First time setup was done in minutes, now tried hours to fix it and it won't work! Works very well. Still not sure about the real time motion detection warnings. Too many false alarms to be useful.

After trying this app on my phone, I had to install it on my tablet. The app is better than other viewer apps. I use my home wifi to connect to Android device without any old computers. It quickly finds camera around my home. I appreciate its easy to use and the turn, listen, speech and camera functions are excellent. It is free with no ads. I decided to add .99 monthly fee for motion alerts. The bonus is to view cams already connected to various sites around the world. Great app to monitor elderly, pets and home on 24 hour basis.

This app has worked very well for use. I think it could be a little easier to set up but once running has proven to be very reliable. I'm using it in a wired not wireless setting and even if it's days or weeks between looking at it the camera always comes up intantly

Motion alerts (that you pay for) crash the app. The only alert you get is that the app has crashed. Brilliant...

Much better camera viewer app than the ones made by Foscam. Works every time, whereas the Foscam app did work only erratically.

App works well, except I cannot get the sound working for my Foscam F9821W v2 camera. Other apps work fine but this one, despite clicking sound on, I don't hear anything.

Struggled with other apps including Foscam's own and always one or both cameras failed to show. This found both and I recommend.

I accidentally stumbled upon this app after getting frustrated with the Foscam camera app, and have only used OWLR for an hour, but I'm astounded how easy and perfect the OWLR app is so far... And it displays my Foscam cameras about 10 times faster than the actual Foscam app can. Once OWLR offers cloud service storage, I will be moving my Foscam app money over to them.

Incredible app. I tried 5 others that didn't work and I had this one setup within a couple minutes. It works everytime and has all the options I needed. Great work!

Works with setup trick. Did not detect local network vs cell data access. Reinstalled, disconnected wifi and added only my external IP. Now it works everywhere.

Use as a baby monitor and has never let me down. This coming from a picky iPhone user.

Super simple setup on Foscam cameras. I should have used this app from the beginning instead of the crappy one by Foscam.

Was good, now they took away motion detection. Now its dumb!

Great app! Motion alerts force close app though. ..making them useless.

The app is well fleshed out and is very user friendly. It unfortunately doesn't support my Sricam SP013. This is my own fault for buying a cheap camera, and not the fault of the devs.

It's really nice, however, when viewing remotely it shows the same device for all cameras. I use port forwarding and will contact support.

Kept losing the cameras had yo keep reseting not good at all.

I paid for the motion sensor and it hasn't worked for an entire month now. There are no app updates for me to used to fix the problem

Now i see why u wont give us the whole features of foscam apps.. w have to pay.. first d alerts..once paid again you ask for another for other features like scrolling etc

No tech support, no response from developer and no fixes for an app that has a paid subscription is completely unacceptable. Especially one that has to do with security.

Works very well so far. Easy to set up. Found my camera right away. Not like the Foscam app that would not work at all.

Pretty Darn Good Started using this as a replacement for Foscam IP viewer. I'm pleasantly surprised at the features and response time. Highly recommend if you're looking for a decent free IP viewer. Probably worth buying the paid version.

Used to work perfect but over the last month its done nothing but crash I can't access when I am out and about and as I pay for this app its frustrating nobody replies to queries. Time to cancel my subscription ????

Works now. Had a lot of trouble in the past. Seems to be better. Devs always respond to complants.

Very easy to set up. Can't view outside outside my network and some camera features are locked out. Pretty easy use and set up.

Seems pretty good. Setup only took a couple minutes. It found my camera just fine. The push to talk seems a little flaky but the controls, picture and sound are all spot on.

Suggestion for developers. It'd be nice if you could keep the audio stream going in the app even when the phone screen is turned off. Can use as baby monitor then.
