I had same problem with app not loading. I deleted the app then reinstalled it and it is working fine now
Latest version is great didn't even realise that u can now just take scan of meter reading to submit - good for gas meter but on electric as I have solar panels reading keeps flashing between reading & redirect so can't get a good fix on reading but still love ovo as supplier and no issues yet been with them for nearly 3yrs now
The app dose not work at all it saying I'm a pay monthly customer when I'm pay as you go sick of installing it been told I've installed the wrong app when there is only one app to down load they are well aware there is a problem but doing nothing about it
Would have given it five stars if my smart meter reading were reflected on the app details. Otherwise it's a good app that's needs slight improvements to reward smart meter users and encourage other users to join and benefit from the smart meter program.
Seem to be having issues with the app connecting with my meter. I've been with this company for about a year and using the app for the same length of time but this past week (since the last update I think) mine is saying it cannot connect to the meter!
I'm sick of phoning ovo and explaining that the app doesn't work I can't top up on my phone I was able to for a couple of weeks then nothing the customer service that I have received is appalling if this isn't fixed soon I'll be switching suppliers
Keep freezing every time I open it. Seems to be very vague with only one information given which is how much you have in your account!!!
I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled and doesn't load at all before signing in. Managed to log in once to a white screen
Won't work after house move. Moved house and now will not log me in as I've switch to ovo in the new property
Okay but if it only gives half the info I can get on the Web page then why bother with an App.
Can't log on ever since having smart meter installed...white screen every time...have uninstalled and re installed still not working..
At the moment I can't even open the app- it crashes before I get to the welcome page. It used to work, doesn't now. Happy to adjust the rating once I can actually use the app...!
Used to work but new v3.2.8 is crashing after pressing the submit reading buttons.

Uninstalling absolute rubbish won't even let me log in BS app!!!

Absolutely useless sums up Ovo....full of nice ideas but none of them work .....ehat is the point of an App that's crashes every time you want to submit a reading....just like their smart meters that don't send the readings

I love this app! Simple to use, especially with the scan facility. Even a reminder from ovo when readings are due. Excellent!
Think Its Stupid You Only Update Everyday At Midnight I'm Moving Back To Utilita Were They Update Everytime Also Since I Joined Ovo My Smart Meter Still Says Credit Mode And Has An Estimated Bill Even Thou I'm PAYG And Also Stupid That You Only Give £5 Emergency Credit and That The Minimum You Can Top Up Is £5 And Utilita Is £10 and Also Has A Thing Called Family Credit And That The Time That Gas And Lecci Could Run Out Is 8pm When Utilita Is 4pm So From 4pm You Dont Have To Worry About Running Out If You Get Paid The Next Day So Glad I'm Leaving Ovo :(
Downloaded a month ago, was working well. Today there was an update, and app no longer works.
Had to reinstall after the latest version just to get it working again.
Was working fine until the latest update. Now it won't even load. I have no idea how much credit I have left as I cannot access my account. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!! After reading other people reviews it's clear I'm not the only one having issues. You stated on the 11/04 that you were looking in to it..... still not working!!!
Dear Emma. There is no tab at the bottom! I have a 'Usage' tab at the top! But the App does NOT show Smart Meter usage for Pay Monthly users. For example, my 'Usage' for 'March' is showing only one total (not 6-hourly) amount for my bill to 5th March (so usage for February 5th to March 5th). My actual readings for most of March appear as 'April' based on my 5th April bill. Why not sort out the basics? I can view accurate daily usage on my desktop, but the App can't even do accurate monthly! All this 'Scan and Submit' nonsense for PAYG is not an urgent priority.
App is so temperamental and hasn't worked in over a week. And my bills over the winter were nomore different to British gas.. Contemplating another supplier!
Having issues using this. Have switched from bill to pay and go top up but everytime I do so it is just taking the payment off my balance. I topped up £15 but it didn't go on and my power cut out. Also I cannot see how much is left on my credit.
Update: Great company which is why I have stuck with them. This App is okay but still has glitches. My total bill last month is shown as being the amount of gas and again as the amount of electricity I used. Their website shows everything fine.
I have just had my Smart meter installed. Downloaded the app. And it doesn't work. I get a blank white screen and that is it.... not the best start to my OVO experience
It's been 96 hours since my new smart meter was installed and I cannot use the app yet. Keeps saying up to 48 hours to get you going
Can't submit meter readings with the latest version of this app. Constantly crashes tested on android version 5 and 7 on two different devices. Have informed Ovo of this issue and nothing has been done. I can't submit meter readings.
Worked fine before latest update. But now I cannot get anything to work all I get is a blank white screen cannot get to view anything
According to the app i am pay monthly when i am actually payg+ so i cant see my balance or top up via the ovo app. this is since i moved house. this is the only problem i have had with ovo over the time i have been with them and hope for it to ve sorted asap.
Can't access my account with ovo app so i still don't know how much gas /electric we are using We have been with ovo for 4 months i have contacted customer services at least 4 times So far they have been no help at all I'm really disappointed with ovo I thought it was going to be easier than this
Not been able to connect to my smart meter since last update. I have no idea how much electric I have now. Was fine before.
Total rubbish doesn't update regularly last time is 7 days ago so i have no idea how much electric i have left so totally useless. half the time i cant even log on. Originally i use to receive emails when i topped up or when my credit was low for some reason i don't now despite i haven't changed my email address. Had other problems with ovo such as money I've put on disappearing from the account
Smart metre and everything all working fine. Staff are great too, very helpful. Plus I have refer a friend and had a email to confirm this. We both should get a £25 voucher of our choice as soon as they're change over to Ovo
Hasn't worked for weeks. Used to be fine, but now it just sticks at the opening animation. Am running plain old Android N.

Could do with a more timely update on what your balance is. I don't mean to the minute but hourly would be nice rather than 20 hours ago other than that I find the app easy and convenient to use
