hubiC for Android
It logs me out for no reason, then I have difficulties logging back in, again with no clear reason. Photos either don't upload at all so I have to trigger it manually, or I get constant notifications that it's uploading photos when it doesn't need to. I can't add files without it crashing. And it doesn't offer thumbnails for media files so you don't know what you're looking at until it's downloaded. But I have almost 50GB of cloud storage for free, and it works well enough on my PC. It's okay.
Chrashes now that I have camera backup enabled. Can't even get into the menue to change it back...No automatic device backup... Why can't I SYNC to a folder on the web? Mobiles allow for editing! I have the 10 TB plan and 196Gb space on my mobile. I want be able to sync folders. Just to look at my data I might as well use the Webversion...
It works ok, except for two things: 1) the camera upload doesn't work very well. My pictures don't always upload 2) The app, ( and the website too ) needs to be more user friendly and have better aesthetics. Right now it's really ugly.
Most of the time the app says no data connection, even on Wifi. So I'm unable to browse my files. I'm also unable to attach docs from an email, which adds to its uselessness.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is This is how I would sum up Hubic's offer of 10TB for 60 Euro/year. I'm cancelling my account because this system is UNUSABLE. It's all very well saying that you have 10TB, but if your upload speed is in the Kb/s or low Mb/s, how are you supposed to make any use of it. The app may be OK if you have 100 photos to share, but if you want to back up all your documents and photos, forget it, it is utterly incapable of dealing with large amounts of data. Given their performance on speed, I can't even begin to trust them as a data backup. What if I need to get my files back quickly? My line runs 80mbps DL and 17mbps up for this very reason. Who knew this service would be so useless. GOOD BYE HUBIC!
This stupid piece of crap is sending emails to my account continuously and I can't stop it. It will shutdown my email address by a DoS attack. All I did was open the app
Tried on two different devices over a 7month period and still can't get past the login. I do use it on Linux desktops from cli with no problem. Do therefore have an interest in getting it fixed on Android.
Does not keep nor allover for a cash for an offline view. If upload fails does not resume. Slow compared to dropbox. For me this is a beta.
Keeps giving me a token error message during log in
S L O W...and it does not back up new pics
It doesn't matter if the app is good or bad, the service is generally horrible. I've been flooded by emails about my missed payment, but everything is in french. I continue receiving them even after the payment and now they shut even my account. The only option for contact is if you know french. So, why they sell something in different country, than France, when they don't have adequate customer support in english, at least!?
I am able to delete files but not folders from mobile. The thumbnail of photos is very slow compared to dropbox & one drive, it is cheaper than the other two. No option for search on mobile, when viewing photos, they are small, when i try to zoom, it does not byt it asks to download. I have the 10TB account but disappointed. No where to get support, no updates.
Not reliable. It seems to work, but some folders that i see on the Web app or on desktop computers are not visible in the Android app. Couldn't find a link for support. Is this app actually supported ? There's been no update in 2 years ...
Hubic is an awesome service, easy to use, lots of space, and the price is amazing. I would love to give the Android app a 5, but I had problems that wouldn't let me completely set up the app. First, the password field did not respect my talkback settings to speak the letters, so the letters were spoken as "dot". I was able to get my wife to enter the password though, so I managed to get past that issue. But instead of signing in, it gave a "token error" and would not continue. My wife says the keyboard for passwords was half missing, and she had to guess where some of the letters were. I am hoping these issues get reoslved soon, and as soon as I can actually get this installed and working I will change my rating from 4 to 5.
I have found HubiC one of the easiest cloud storage services to use. Two issues: (1) I need it to allow me change the name of a file (e.g. a WhatsApp media attachment) before upload - Box allows this. (2) When I wanted to sign up for additional storage the system would not accept an address that does not have a post code. My country does not use post codes. Quite sad that the Hubic people are so narrow minded!
You need to reset via the 'forgot my password' link, use the same one as you had before if you like and then you'll be able to login with the app. Hope this helps.
Can't download files that I have saved on there. Where is the support for this app? There's never updates. There always seems to be problems with this app.
The UI is poor, there are many errors and some tools are missing.

Every time I try to open it just keeps saying no data, retry, but my version on desktop works fine.
Hello, when you will release new version of hubiC android app? Current one doesn't work properly on Nexus 5 (6.0.1) cuz once uploaded photos (manually because auto upload not working) I have to restart phone to manually upload next photos and again and again.... .
I'm using htc and Android 4.4.4. I have an active account but my login is rejected token retrieving error. Does not work.
Seems like an ok app, however all my data is stored in backups, which i cant access with the app. (It works fine on desktop though). Please include backups in the app! :)
Hubic is the worst service you can find for the cloud !! Don't subcribe : upload rate is a pity, there is no support service. The only way to contact them is a forum but they don't answer your messages. There is no moderator and the forum is fully spammed !!
If I dare to multitask while a file is uploading via the app, the app resets itself and the upload is lost! Took 5 attempts to log in to the website via a browser due to bad gateway (502) errors and I'm not able to upload via the website.
Keeps giving me a token error message during log in
Been trying ages to get a link for my file, keep clicking publish
It misses a simple search function. How else can I find a document amidst 183738383.
I like the app especially free 25gb, but i can't delete folders. That's a huge part of organizing the cloud server
Muy buena APP, muy útil y fácil de usar!!! Además de incluir una Versión para Windows, bastante útil si lo que necesitas es trabajar en tu Computadora o Dispositivos Móviles!!!
Comment accéder aux répertoires sauvegardés ? On a accès seulement à ceux synchronisés.
I have a folder that i can see in the hubiC web interface, but it is not visible in this app. I like the hubic service, but this app needs fixing.
Can't login from app
The space is good, but what is the point, the app does not log in. And update in 2 years.
Needs to be better presented and also have video upload as well as photo upload. Not been updated since August 2014!!!
Poor UI interface coming from 5 years ago. I often need to log out to be able to see new content.
Poor UI. And it won't even open anymore because it keeps crashing
Long password issue ?

Simply, the app doesn't work. I can't sign into it. I can sign in with a web browser, but not with this app. I thought the 25 gigs of free cloud storage was too good to be true, and it turns out it was. When Microsoft limited their free cloud storage to 5 gigs, I looked for other alternatives and I found Hubic, a French company. The only other offering, other than Google of course, was a Russian company.. Frankly I didn't trust the Russian company. I had high hopes for Hubic, so far they have disappointed me.
