Rik Rhino was set up by our Managing Director, Herman Kresfelder after he saw firsthand the horrors of the Rhino Poaching trade.Herman has had a long and successful career in Security and VIP protection, having run and owned Security Companies, especially specializing in Hotel Security as well as VIP transportation services. But after personally seeing the cruelty being inflicted on the poor innocent Rhino by the criminal poachers, he set out to develop technologically based products that could withstand the harsh conditions found in Africa and could also overcome the various technical problems presented by the fractured and insufficient infrastructure in most areas.

The journey to having the best products at the best prices has meant a considerable investment in both time and money. A journey that has not been without its challenges, but one that has been successful. Rik Rhino now finds itself with a range of products that are robust, technologically the most advanced, products that work and are very cost effective. Of course, whilst the initial vision for the Company was based on trying to help eradicate the terror of Rhino Poaching, we now have the leading products available in Africa for Home, Business and Farm security, with our range growing all the time. This is due to our heavy investment in highly advanced operating and control system software.
