Fing - Network Tools

I have the Fingbox as well as the app. I love it, my kids hate it. With the tap of a button I can block any of their devices from connecting to the internet (i.e computers, gaming consoles), when they are not doing what they should be doing. I also labeled every device that is connected to the network (cool). Now if anything connects to the network without my permission, will be considered an intruder and be blocked until I find out what it is. I love it. Thank you Fing.

Great support in the beginning. I had problems with Chromecast casting and they sent me a beta version that worked great. New version came out and I was having problems again. No answers, then my Fingbox glowed orange which means it's not connected to my network. Everything is connected properly, again no support! I like the product and hope to here from someone.

I love(d) this app - until the sorting options changed over night. It made the most sense for me to sort by status first and IP second. Now I have to decide for one OR the other. Big step backwards. Update: sorting order has been corrected. Thanks!

I was experiencing problems with my internet connections to the point of questioning what was connected. This app was suggested to me. This is a very useful app, works smoothly and gives me information about my devices without having to search, "Where did I put that box?" The convenience of this app is very much appreciated.

Without the "Fingbox", this is a simple but powerful tool to see what is connected to your network. It lists ip addresses, MAC addresses, identifies most devices (at least by OS or brand, sometimes model), allows you to name devices and add notes. With the "Fingbox", there is the same information but logged all the time and more...

This app appears to be a password phishing scheme. Users are asked to create an account before they use this "network tool". Why?? If they select "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Facebook", they are then asked to TYPE IN their Google or Facebook username and password. This goes against the whole point of signing in with Google or Facebook!! I immediately uninstalled the app and changed my Facebook password. Minutes later I received a spam email from Fing. When I clicked 'Unsubscribe' in the email, I was once again asked to TYPE IN my username and password before I could unsubscribe! I would not, so I could not unsubscribe! They should rename the Fing app to F'ing app and ban it from Playstore. Oh, and when I tried using this "network app", it detected only my own phone on my network, not my laptop or my wife's phone like other apps do. What a waste of time.

This is the most comprehensive scanning app on the Play Store Market that I can find. It is excellent excellent excellent and does a fantastic job. I can't say enough good things about this app and it keeps getting better and better with new updates

The app refuses to open. It used to work very well and would have been 5 stars. Please fix this!

It's a great app but it has worked well in the past but right now it's broken. I can't port scan or ping or use any of those functions without the app freezing and then I have to exit out of it just to go back into it again and find out that it still doesn't work right

Excellent and effective. Has saved my butt many a time when I need to find an IP but the device doesn't have a display.

I've had to refresh 2 or 3 times to get accurate/updated list of active devices(only complaint ever on years of use). the settings don't hold sometimes it'll be dark one second come back & it's white?if you wonna know your network addresses & info. Quick as 1 2 3

Fing app has stopped workung all of a sudden and is.not even opening now. have reinstalled it also. pls respond

The app is great. Really useful. However, I completely object to the spam review notification that takes over the full screen, because of that you got a one star review on Christmas day.

Overall a decent app but the app only works with Wi-Fi so you're not able to use it over ethernet, dissapointing.

A brilliant product, device (Fingbox) and app. I especially like the ability to block devices from connecting to the network, you can even do this remotely (and set email alerts). Great for those unknown devices, until you can check them out. You do need the Fingbox hardware for full security and in my opinion, it is excellent value for money, for the facilities and security it gives. Very, very recommended as the next step in network security. 5* Plus.

This app is very useful for identifying and updating the names of your devices on your network. Especially when you add a hard to identify device like an echo.

Keeps crashing and won't let me unblock devices blocked with fingbox.

Great and easy to use. The only thing left if possible adding an option to block a device from connecting to the router or wifi

Just werkz! As proof I keep coming back time and time again to reinstall after I get a new piece of equipment or new customer provided piece of equipment or some kind of test mule I'm betaing - I always keep reinstalling. (D. Dan aka BoomerNaut digs????☺????

Is someone wants to get on your network, and then bypass anything you block, this will let you do it, it will not stop anything The if I could give 0 I would Then if you talk to Support They not do not want to hear you tell Them about the problem

Please fix . I believe after the latest update both my Nexus 6P and Pixel will not display the ssid of which I am scanning. Instead, it will aggregate all of the networks I scan as one (which is very annoying). I've tried clearing cache, data and reinstalling app to no avail.

Very good app that is useful for troubleshooting. I've used it to verify proper subnetting and network access. Much easier than grabbing my laptop.

Um, can't use app w/o giving up personal info. Can't really rate this app if I can't use it until after I have given up PII. Also maybe I don't want to save network info from the public WiFi I am currently using and would rather wait to try this app when I am in my own network coverage area

This is a great program. I find unknown IP's on my secure network mark them and block. It's nice to be able to shut them down

Just got my fingbox delivered and working in no time. Great product! Was very easy to setup internet pause schedule for parental control. Will give a 5 star when the internet timer will be implemented.

Absolutely incredible application, especially for being free. You can easily identify every device connected to the access point. The app works exactly as it should if you use it correctly. 100 all day. Flawless.

F'ing great! I can detect unwanted guests with this.

It's been a great experience using this app but mostly it only shows some of the other people connected to the WiFi network i.e. It doesn't seem to map the network correctly

Would give it 5 if I didn't have to hit the refresh button 3 times to see all of my devises.

Good app that is very usefull, I would give it 4 stars, I remove one star for rating nagging and one star for there's no way to skip without forced "feedback".

Scans the entire network when opening, it should do nothing until I make it.

Thime wasting don't install it its not working properly .

Very useful, I've used it to quickly check devices connected to my network. Ping and traceroute are great troubleshooting tools to have on a mobile device. Top notch

Quite a great app. Tell you all about who logs on to your networks. I only wish it could also reveal network keys where we've been before ????

I love this app and my fingbox has well, love the features and the alerts I know who and what is on my network thanks to fingbox and the find app, I recommend both.
