OverDrive

I love this app and have been using it for over a year. HOWEVER after the last update, v.3.7.3, the audio playback gets distorted if you play over 1.6X. This is a big bummer for me since I listen at 2X, but with that weird audio distortion it isn't listenable. Please fix!

Love Overdrive!!! Great free alternative to book listening for me. With the work I do I listen to a book every other day and it has been expensive in the past. But overdrive has accessibility to a lot of the books I like to listen to just a click away free of charge

I downloaded this app because my local library uses Overdrive as it's digital library. It's great not having to use my computer to add the eBook to my eBook reader to read the eBook while I travel. Now I can just go through the app to download my eBook and I'm ready to go. The only downside is that there are usually only one or two copies of each book which can lead to long waits, but most of the time they are shorter than the wait for the physical book from the library.

Really enjoy being able to access a library online. The library book selection is rather limited but think that's more a library issue ?! Still, it is quite user friendly and ideal if you have issues getting to your local library building.

I love being able to check books of the library on my device. That said, I don't appreciate being locked into a proprietary service to do so. Although functional, I would love to see improvements in the interface.

Allows for checking out ebooks from library's. I would like to see version of this app that does not try and sell books, and would show only what is available at the specific library's I have connected. As it is now it will return listings of item not at the specific library's but can be purchased.

It's so clunky to use. The constant back and forth between library catalog and bookshelf is annoying. It regularly fails to remember your sign in but you have to do that with both accounts anyway. It sometimes respects synergy between devices but usually not so don't expect to pick up on your tablet where you started in your phone. All in all, the design is terrible. Horrible interaction. If my library had Cloud I'd never use this. EVER

Great little app where you can borrow library books and read online without getting fined! The books automatically get returned! Lots of ebooks and audio books to choose from!

Very convenient! I install it on my phone and tablet. No paying of fines for late returns as books are automatically returned at the end of the borrowing period

I'm an avid reader, and this app means I can get books from my library without having to go there! Love it!

All you need is a library membership and you can access much of what is offered elsewhere, like Kindle for $, for free. What a bargain! Be patient however, you might have to wait to get what you want to read, esp if it's popular. I'm okay with the privilege.

I've been using Overdrive for a few years now and it's my main way of reading books (especially, library books). Easy to use, with helpful display options, it makes it easy to access my library and personal books!

I use this app to listen to library books and it is marvelous for it. The book picks up where you left off, you can save book marked spots in the book for later reference and the table of contents within books is easy to navigate.

This app has never been buggy for me. It has a good and useful interface. It's a great way to listen to audio books and read ebooks. My library connects to it and I rent rent books through it.

No real issues with it, the limitation in books is a library issue. So yea, I have no app complaints at this point.

A nice app. Love that I can have multiple libraries, but it doesn't seem like I can download the same book across devices which is kind of unfortunate.

I love this app for finding and downloading books from my local libraries. I love that I can easily switch between multiple library accounts. As an avid reader, I use this daily.

I love free audio books. Now I can "read" a book and be productive at the same time:) Book selection and varies per library.

I am using this so for years now, I love audio book, I can listen to it while I'm doing chores, exercising or while on the train. Very convenient.

Absolutely love it. Especially since I don't have to pay $15 a freaking book like other audio book apps.

I think this is a great app. It gives me the ability to borrow library material without having to actually go into the library.

Nonfiction book selection could be more emcompassing in selection. I truly love the app though..great when walking dog!!
