Snap Send Solve

I use this app a lot, however lately the description doesn't show in the email any more & I have to retype it in, otherwise only the photos show with no explanation. This is very annoying. Also I've never been able to set the custom location. If I report it later, it just has the current location, & I can't change it to the correct location. Therefore the message would get sent to the wrong council!! Then I get an email saying, I need to send the message to another council, defeats the purpose of app!

Servers are often unresponsive, you cant set a custom location and if you close the app you lose all the photos. Better off using gmail.

Location is out so have had to manually write address in subject. Sent in requests regarding dumped rubbish that have not dealt with days later. Seems like no one is responding.

Good app but people should contact the super markets direct to pick up shopping trolleys. Contacting the local council just wastes time as they have to go and investigate and then all they do is call the supermarket.

Try to put in correct address for location of incident, but keep jumping back to GPS location of where I am. PS Over 12 months later problem still has not been fixed. Uninstalled

Great in principle, but who wants to stand beside a busy road filling in a form. Why you haven't solved for the constant geo-location refresh is beyond me!

Used to love this app but now keeps zooming to current location so can't report on issues observed after my ride. Great idea, only wish it would actually get the local council to do something

I need to send a report but cant as the location always goes to my location every second so if you try to set it somewhere else it automatically moves back to your location after 1 second.

I went thru the entire process of submitting a report to my local council to find i needed an active email account to submit it. I deliberately don't have email on my phone and was expecting the app would submit the form rather than turn it into an email for me to send. I'll just stick to emailing my local council directly (from a computer) rather than using an app.

You can't search for a location other than the one you're in. This defeats the purpose of the app. Great idea if it actually worked.

Is the "server error" a permanent way of saying this doesn't work and never will? Tried a few times and eventually gave up. Disappointing as it has much potential.

My local council action many of the reports I send. [Note: This app can no longer see location data of photos I take within the app no matter which camera app I select. Location data is found if I use any app to take photos outside of Snap Send Solve]

Used to work way better. Unable to use custom location. Takes way too long to load.

Doesn't work. Server doesn't respond. Have tried three seperate connections. All have the same problem.

Ironically South East Water who apparently assisted with the development does not appear. Neither does VicRoads, Metro Trains, Yarra Trams, Public Transport Victoria, Woolworths, Aldi.....

Great when it works. Normaly it is unable to find a server.

It gets results. Very happy!

This app for Christchurch City Council is New Zealand but your video describes the app to be for Australia

Submitted a snap send solve for a dangerous wire hanging over a path on Mt taylor - they fixed it straight away! Bloody great! Thanks guys!

Pretty good as far as I can tell. Sometimes crashes, but occasionally.

After having this sitting on my phone for months I tried using it this morning to report a fallen tree from last night's storm. The app did not identify Brisbane council as an authority to report to but instead suggested Coles or Woolworths. When I tried to select location I was unable to do that either. Time to quit wasting time with this app and pick up the phone.

Have had to reinstall several times. When it does work CCC are very responsive to it

You can't set your own location. It picks up some strange address or you use gps. My council cant read gps coords. I sent something from work when I had time and it sent report City of Melb rather than my local council. Stupid app.

Can't establish a connection, used to work fine. Don't know why there is a problem now.

I sent a request to install a light pole near my house just to test this app and couldn't believe that it will happen. In 3 weeks light pole was installed. Thanks a lot to the council of the city of Holdfast Bay.

Used it to report busted toilet fixed same day. Used it bins overflowing garbage man next day

Need to be able to choose the local authority. Incident was right on the border. Be good to have options for 'nearby authorities' and 'home' so I can log things later / in transit

Sent 3 issues to my local council last Sunday and today they were all fixed. It works.

Picked up the correct council and as I drove into another council boarder, it changed to the correct one

See title. Love the idea, would be great if it worked.

The app should allow us to report illegal driving

Won't load and won't connect to data (tried both wifi and mobile data). Waste of time.

Stable, hassle free, easy setup, I've used this a couple times in melb, from St-Kilda to Berwick and have had a response from the council and the issues resolved within 48hrs.. nice to get a update! Keep em coming DEVS!
