Video Dieter 2 - trim & edit

Was a Brilliant app. Fast and efficient, and saved loads of room on my memory cards. Works perfectly on my Alcatel pop ( android 6) but fails every time on my Sony Xperia. ( android 7.0) - fails to load from sd card. Was one of my favourite apps. But it looks like there aren't any video editing apps that work on android 7

Here are things you need to improve: 1. Add "edit with Video Dieter2" from file option. 2. Add option to use original's filename. Better: option for destination folder. 3. Add "no change" in resolution option, so small res file will stay small (i.e 360x240 videos) 4. Show original resolution on final page 5. Add wider option for resolution. My 960x540 video only has option to be 630x360 (same ratio, small res) or 720x540 (cropped, large res). That's all for now.

Well it did reduce the size of my video files. Unfortunately for some reason it threw the sound way out of sync with the video. I'm on YouTube and I need to be able to upload the video but the sound is about a second or a two late which makes a big difference when I watch it. If you could fix this glitch I would gladly give a higher review.

I've dieted most of videos from my mobile, I have 60gb storage, but I want that to be free all time that's why I wanted that all my photos and videos to be shrinked and my space will be freed. For this, Video Dieter 2 helped me so much I loved it

Fastest video compressor I've been able to find. Good quality, doesn't have a manual setting though, which would help choosing better sizes, basically for each view (widescreen 16:9/4:3 for standard etc) you have 2 choices, more choices in each view would be better. But for the speed & very decent quality videos I'd still give it 5 stars

Wow! This is the best video compressor I have ever seen! It can compress your huge space consuming videos to less consuming videos without losing picture quality.

Everything is great about video Dieter. The one thing that bothers me a bit are apps that tend to open and run in the background on my phone and hog RAM.

Overall, I like it. It's very useful and easy to use. It compresses large videos relatively quick, I like this, I take a lot of video. I'm still playing with it a year later. It does still crashes quite a bit but it's usefulness out weighs the annoyance.

Great app, allows you to set level of compression easily, also simple to trim any portion off start of your vid, or off end. Doesn't seem able to do editing within your vid, but for my purposes (trimming beginnings/endings & compressing to reasonable MB size to send in email) this app is A++!

LOVE IT! Simple and 10 to 1 faster than any others I've tried, half of which say the video is either too large or it's an unsupported format. This took about 2 minutes to compress 1.4 GB to 13.25 MB without even losing much quality. Others take 10 to 15 minutes.

I try many apps but your app is the only one that works on me.i am so happy about it..but unfortunately when I played the video it hang up! It stop after 5 mins but the sounds was continuously played..hope you can solve my problem about it.

Much better than the dreck I've tried to date on Android for video compression. Not great, since options are limited and non-transparent, but better. Still has the amazing Android standby: full screen advert popup. Oh, for those of you rating this so highly, I can only shake my head at your understanding of quality, and how amazingly indoctrinated Android devs have gotten you. In 5 minutes (literally) you can find twice this quality on iOS for video work.

Best app so far to reduce video file size without reducing much of the quality. It's fast as well. Would rate 5 star when it will start converting multiple files at once. Would be even more better if resolution of each file can be choosen for batch convert. Thanks for this great app. You are the best mate.

It works very well with my phone the OnePlus 3 I have tried many different apps before, all were useless, This app is excellent and fast. I love it.

Great UI. Fantastic. So easy to use. I like that it saves to a file you can recognise. Great app. Congrats developer. Don't think I will look for another app. Can't get better than this.

This is good for trimming videos and reducing the size with nice options to choose from resolution and quality. I had another app VideoCutter, which just didn't work.

When i'm compressing video, it says movie will be 47 MG, and finally i will see the movie is 65 MG. result is diffrenet from the expection وقتی گزینه ها رو انتخاب میکنم، میگه با این شرایط فیلمم مثلا حجمش میشه چهل و هفت مگابایت، ولی وقتی پروژه ش تموم میشه، حجمش رو میزنه که یعنی شصت و پنج مگابایت شده... یعنی حرفش عوض میشه :-|

Best trimmer I've ever used. Quick, easy and high quality. There should be a way though to see the subtitles though for it was lost during trimming and compression. The time as well can't be adjusted. But all in all PERFECT! Please add an option to convert to mp3. Please! I would have rated it 5 if it has a way to convert mpg.

Does what it should, but a major issue is that it both changes the filename and the date of the compressed video, so you have no idea at what date it was taken and it will appear at the wrong place in the gallery. Also, the UI feels a bit old and it doesn't support batch processing.

Great app, it does the job but a few things could be improved: an option to have the videos saved to external memory; and the file name should be taken from the originl video.

This app is a lifesaver! I had a ton of 4k video that i was going to edit, then i realized it was gonna take like an hour to transfer. Then i put it into 720p and it took like a minute. This app is great and i would highly recommend.

Great app for shrinking and sharing videos. You can capture from the app or shrink an already captured video. You can also share to most applications directly from within the app.

Works well without cutting the quality or length just reduces the amount of memory space taken up on your phone like it says

With remote grandparents this is a simple to use tool to take large videos of the grandchildren playing and send it to them via email.

I depend on this to compress school videos for the music teacher. This is my third year using Video Dieter 2. Very happy with its ease of use and efficiency at compressing and sharing videos via email or chat.

It's the need of the hour app , 200 mb video to 60 mb without loosing quality, that is real useful, I will give more stars if possible, I was deleting useful videos, I can save them now , no worries

It's quite good for a mobile app, you can quickly compress videos on the go, it's actually faster than the other apps out there. Plus, you could make the video faster or slower, change the resolution. Overall, it's a nice app.

So easy to use. Can shrink a 35 sec video from 75 Mb to 8.6. And it still looks great. Perfect for Facebook posts.

Good App ...But can't able to add Text... Hope u will add it in future

App doesn't remember settings. Need to select all options every time. Might be better if it can remember

This app is very useful for youtubers because some time youtubers make big video And it is difficult to upload but this app make the video size half and it makes easy to upload a video

I just want a fast and simple way to compress video and this app does it. I like keeping videos on my phone for easy access and this app helps me to conserve space.

वीडियो एडिट करते समय फ़ोन की लाइट बन्द हो जाती है और लोक हो जाता है, फिर अनलॉक करना पड़ता है। विज्ञापन नही बहुत ज्यादा दिखता है । बाकी सब ठीक है।
