Contacts Transfer for Outlook for Android
Outlook Contacts Transfer / Sync software gives you better control than most other sync software. It lets you decide which side (phone or PC) has more reliable data and start the sync from there. This software package consists of 2 components: one component running on your Android downloaded from Google Play and one component running on your PC downloaded from the developer's web site. The user interface, running on Windows, cannot be simpler and no configuration is required.
If you have already installed the drivers for your Android device on your PC, installing this software package is a breeze. Here are the features:
1.Support all languages (including European and Asian) encoded in Unicode.
2.Preserve more Outlook data fields than most other sync software. E.g. The IM addresses and Notes fields are preserved.
3.Works with or without Google Sync. Google Sync is the default in later Android versions.
4.Does not interfere with syncing from other third parties like Skype.
5.Compatible with Android Version 2.2 to Version 4.2.
6.It can handle up to 1000 contacts.
Software Versions supported:
Windows versions supported: Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
Outlook versions supported: Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, Outlook 2010, and Outlook 2013
Android versions supported: Version 2.2 to Version 4.2 inclusive.

About USB Android Debug Bridge (ADB) Driver
Your Android device requires several drivers to communicate to your PC. One of the drivers is called the ADB driver which allows your PC to communicate to the databases in your Android device.
The USB ADB driver should be installed automatically on Windows 7 and newer OS. In order to trigger automatic driver installation, USB Debugging should be enabled on your Android device before connecting to your PC. Please see below on how to enable USB Debugging. On Windows XP, the driver has to be downloaded and installed manually. Here is a link to find the OEM drivers: http://developer.android.com/tools/extras/oem-usb.html#Drivers
For Nexus products, do not go to the Manufacturer's web site. Get the driver from Google through this link: http://developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html#download
For Samsung Galaxy products, you may have to search in the web with these key words: "Samsung Galaxy ADB Driver". Modify these key words according to your device.
Please also note that Windows 7/8 may install the wrong driver for newer products. Please search the web for ADB driver issues for your specific device. We encourage you to complain to the manufacturers about their quality on drivers support.
How to Enable USB Debugging
USB Debugging must be enabled on your Android phone for this software to work. The procedure to enable it depend on your Android version:
- On devices running Android 3.2 or older, you can find the option under Settings > Applications > Development.
- On Android 4.0 and newer, it's in Settings > Developer options.
Note: On Android 4.2 and newer, Developer options is hidden by default. To make it available, go to Settings > About phone and tap Build number seven times. Return to the previous screen to find Developer options.
For refund policy, please visit developer's web site.
This program is a piece of crap and after you have to go through all the hoops just to make it work it doesn't even do what it advertises. Better off to use Kies sync. Really this app sucks.
I followed all the steps from A to Z, but it still complained that it does not have permission to write to my smartphone(LG G3). I lost 3 hours and still don't have my contacts transfered to my phone.
I had been using a competitor's program and after getting a new computer I could not get competitor's software to work. So I gave Outlook Contact Transfer a shot. Works flawlessly, the only hiccup was any name (like a nick name) in Outlook within "quotation" marks won't transfer. I changed the quotation marks to (parentheses) a worked fine. Thank you to the developer thank you, thank you, thank you......
Thank you for the app. It would be nice if it could be combined with the calender sync app.
Since I bought my galaxy note 2, I knew that my contacts had gotten out of synchronization between the android and my Microsoft outlook . I saw this app with two excellent reviews and now there are three – it could not have been easier. Just download the application to your phone go to their website and download the console for your PC . Now connect your phone via USB to the computer transfer from android to PC then transfer from PC to android. Perfect! Go for it
downloaded the samsung phone app to sync my outlook contacts with the new Samsung phone. The description mentions a PC console however the link to the console is not provided. The Developer site is not user friendly. Disappointed with my choice. If i cannot find the console, I will get a refund. Not user friendly!! Uninstalled app. Useless. Downloaded PC console and keeps telling me to enable debugging. I have s Samsung phonr-- I followed instruction and still not working. An app should just work!! Booo!!
After struggling to sync Outlook to my Android with Samsung Kies for the past few months I am delighted to find this app actually works.
The ap down loads to my phone, but not to my pc and then tell s me to use my pc. I want a refund - how do I go about that????
There website is very un user friendly and there email tech support is terrible . It takes days for a reply and still it does not work. This app is not even worth downloading if it was free. Don't waist your time and money.
I also tried several Apps before I found This program. Once Ace's very responsive tech support people got me on the right track with my Note 8.0, I was in business. If you try to find the USB driver at Samsung you will be out of luck. Use the driver they have for the S4. Links right up and works good. This is my first Android device. I did not have any experience tying Microsoft Windows to any other operating system. Thank you ACE Tech Support.
This app is junk. Don't pay the money unless you just like to give away your money. All I get is errors.
It works perfectly for me.
Having more than 1000 contacts is common, but this app only processes up to 1000 contacts. There is no indication that counter was for seconds elapsed. We don't need that. We want number of contacts counter.
Coming from the blackberry world where Outlook sync occurred seamlessly, I tried several other sync programs. Positives: simple interface; appears to sync completely every time. I can't say enough about support and communication. 5 stars for support. A couple of the issues I ran into was distribution lists causing script errors, which once identified was fixed in an update. The other issue is how the sync handles company names without indviduals. Only other suggestion is add a calendar sync =5 stars.
I've used other contact syncing s/w before. Those s/w works most of the time. The problem is it doesn't work all the time and you don't even know. You only find out when you need a phone # for a friend and the phone book gives the old #. Outlook Contacts Transfer lets me decide the source and destination of data transfer. I control what to transfer. So, this setting makes a lot of sense. Auto syncing is better for newbies. Like the Google Home Page, the UI is clean and clear. Unlike other GUIs that you don't know where to start, you'll have a plan of attack after a few seconds. There's lots of help when something goes wrong, and the hints are amazingly relevant. There's lots of intelligence implemented behind the GUI. There's one feature that I thought this s/w was in error. It told me I had 236 contacts in my Droid and 230 in Outlook. I instructed it to transfer contacts from Android to Outlook. I expected 6 new contacts to be added in Outlook but it told me 0 new contacts added. I found out later that I had 6 duplicated entries in my Droid. Gmail was used to delete the dups. Ace website provides detailed mapping info-no guesswork. This info is missing from other apps.

This app saved no end of time but you have to put the phone in to developer mode Galaxy J5 by tapping the build number seven times and then turning usb debuging on.then it works could not face typeing in 250 contacts manually.
