Spottr

Spottr is new messenger app with a focus on the users current status.
In Spottr every user has one status.
By creating spots, this status will change automatically and your friends are up to date!

Wifi spots
As soon as you're connected to a certain wifi, your status will automatically change. Wifi spots are perfect for every location where you have wifi access, e.g. your home, workplace or university.

Location spots
You also want to update your status where you don't have wifi access e.g. in the disco? No problem, just create a location spot containing a location and radius around it. As soon as you enter this area, your status will automatically update.

Location spots can be even used for whole towns.
One example is you create a location spot around your whole town. As long as you're in your town your status can be something like:

@Berlin
In the best city of the world

Additionally you can create some wifi spots for your home and workplace. So when you're at home your status will be something like:

@Home
watching tv or coding

As soon es you leave your, the location spot for your town is active again.

This all happens automatically, you only have to create your spots with your desired status.
