It cannot help you identify even common birds. Try Merlin Bird ID app instead. That app works well! This hasn't been updated for about 4 years, so don't bother with it.

It's very hard to use and the options that it has I wouldn't know anyways.

What are people thinking this app is very helpful and IT ACTUALLY WORKS.

It looked like an okay app. I have plenty of room for fun stuff like this on my 32gb SD card, but my 400mb of internal storage space - no way.

Because I put all of the descriptions about a bird that I found and it said that there was no match and everything was specific

I'm good at picking out thing on birds but this app has no hard birds to Id just the easy ones waste

Didn't even work

I like the app a lot, but like other users i'm just not finding many birds in there. Maybe the database is just too small. Consider crowd-sourcing the db.

It's user friendly, but I tested it with a bird I saw this mornin.g and knew its species (great blue heron) and no matter how general or specific I was couldn't get it to show in the list. If it actually worked this would have been 5 stars.

Too hard to identify bird before it flush away. Wish you could take a pic of the bird and the app would identify

But very poorly executed. I put in as few parameters as I could, describing a Cardinal. It said "Too many parameters". Really? Red, north, bigger than a Robin. Wow.

Has some bugs; maybe the birds will gobble them up. I'm willing to hover around while they go get 'em Great start for a promising app
