ECB Cricket

Updated, yet still has the unreadable grey tiny font. Who is designing this rubbish? High contrast BLACK text needed. Come on! Change the scoreboard text colour from the almost unreadable grey font to black. In sunlight, the app is useless. For those with less than perfect sight, the font is too small. Otherwise it's great, such a shame users driven away to other apps.

As always Apple apps are updated first and have new features. Has anyone seen the sales figures for Samsung v Apple ?? No push notifications either. Disappointed.

It has changed and now doesn't work. Shows no county matches and on the.news page keeps saying to connect to internet when both WiFi and data are running. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing with no luck. It used to be great.

Keeps crashing. Can't read the news as it says you need an internet connection even though it's connected. I don't think tbe ECB care that this app crashes and is unuseable. Voting two stars, down from three.

STILL not enough contrast, small pale font is very difficult to read... STILL no bowling figures until a wicket has fallen. STILL no info on reviews used. Can't see how a 'Scorecard' page for a particular game can be refreshed manually?

It has been fixed again, 21st July. Was good then it constantly told me I need a network connection or wifi. I have!! and other apps worked. Come on guys the Ashes are on FIX IT!! So they fixed it then middle of England's first innings in the 2nd test it stopped up dating the Test scores. If you can't rely on it then you have to go elsewhere. But now it is so slow to load the detail. November 16.

Still a decent app, but each update seems to break something. This time the 1x4 widget has gone, but it hardly matters because the remaining widgets never gets past "Loading...". Fix that, get notifications working and sort the County tables which are blank and it would be 5 stars from me. 24/11/16: Tables working! Just the widget and notifications to go. Keep it up guys, you're on a roll!

I wouldn't have thought that it could get worse than it was, but now it crashes as soon as it opens, at least that removes the frustrations of using it, how can the ECB sanction such a useless app

Recent update have made things worse. On my phone I can only get a 4x2 widget. Tablet will do 4x1 widget. This is the wrong way round. I I still get app stopped anyway.

After first page, nothing works

Since the last update it works fine, had trouble before.

What is with the new update. All match info is blank.

I use this app all the time on my android phone. On that I can get into settings via the phone's operating system. However, the Samsung tablets work differently and there is no way to get into settings and tick the teams you wish to follow . When are you going to have a settings function within the app itself?

There is no way to add teams anymore and instead of England and Notts I now have England and England U19's which I never added and now there is no way to add Notts. What the heck have you done?! Still very good for keeping up with England, although notifications don't work at all as there is no option for notifications now on Android! Big D'oh!

If you click onto any upcoming game the app closes and says sorry it's stopped working. It's been doing this for some time now. I've tried uninstalling it, but made no difference. Please fix this.

Still shows scores and updates well. Other features currently don't work. County championship tables show numbers but not County names. Also the news always says that you need to be connected to data, even though I always am. Update needed!

I used to love this app for the wicket alerts but they stopped working a long time ago. As it looks like its not going to be updated anytime soon I looked elsewhere and the BBC Sports app is brilliant for this. Its a great alternative. :)

iPhone app is great but the Android app is very poor. No way to change settings to see different competitions. It only shows England games, I want to be able to see all international games as well English domestic (like iPhone app did).

Crashed when trying to viee England vs Bangladesh match. Not displaying Bangladesh icon either. Says Eng vs Bangladesh, but Eng is on the Right? App no longer appears to be supported.

Looks the business but just doesn't deliver. Always crashes, the interface is often impossible to navigate and trying to find the actual games you want to follow is a fruitless exercise in extreme irritation. If the ECB could licence this to developers who want to make it work they could have the best cricket app on the market. As it stands however it's unusable

Every time I try to open the ECB app on my Galaxy S6, it says "Unfortunately ECB has stopped". The app is useless! On the odd occasion when it does open, push notifications do not work. I reinstalled, and now I can't even add favourite competitions or teams, as in the league tables the team names are completely blank. A dreadful app. I can't believe the ECB even put their name to this rubbish!

It's a great app, if you only want to follow England... Used to be able to follow almost any county team and competition, but I cannot find an option anywhere to make this possible any more? Unless I'm missing something...

How do I load all the county matches (4 day t20)? Having problems,can you help please?

Would be totally perfect if the wicket alert actually worked on the galaxy s4, without it, it's just like any other app

Currently 'News' won't open on Nexus 7v2, says 'Need to connect to network' etc but is connected! And still too many annoying features. Poor text size & colour, not enough contrast to read in sunlight - like at a cricket ground! Also bowling details for an innings not available until a wicket falls. Can't tell who is toiling in vain

Another crash? They come in pairs almost every time I start the app. Can't see detailed scoreboards when there is no wicket down and the domestic tables from 2014 are still "live". No attention to detail. A real shame.

Notifications not working on the S6. Plus it always says teams have seared on the scorecard when they haven't. I use the bbc for alerts now so you're falling behind.

This app used to be great , my must have cricketing app.For some reason you can only follow England games.......You do know there are other teams playing around the world. I apologise if I am missing something obvious in order to load other teams to follow , but like other users there are no clear instructions to do so. Please reply back.

Can't find how to add teams my last app exactly the same on phone you can load different teams this app will not function in land scape mode. Bring back the older version . Please advise re above

Looking dated now. Couldn't understand why second innings scorecard wasn't showing, then a wicket fell and it appeared. Really? No scorecard until a wicket falls? Surely a bug?

Frustrating - this used to be much better. It won't open unless it has an Internet connection which is a pain, especially when I'm on holiday abroad. It has started crashing when I try to open certain games. Shame, I used to love this app. Now it won't open the cricket news, saying it can't connect to a network. Frustrating and annoying now.

I used to love this app as I'm an avid follower of county cricket, but now I can only see England games, with no way of seeing county or other internationals. Please fix as otherwise this app is pointless for me. Samsung S5 neo

This used to be a classy and simple app which did everything it needed so well. But the new update has over complicated things and now its really clunky and trying to do too much. Please cancel the update

Nice idea but falls short. .widget's don't work at all and just stay on "loading scores". .and no option to have any type of score notification

I had this app for my iPhone and liked it. But now with the current version on my A5 I can only get the England matches.

This works so well on ios. Absolute waste of time on new phone. As with other comments you can't add teams or comps and no notifications so will be deleting

How do you get it to show more than just England international fixtures?

Great app but news feed doesn't work since last update. Still doesn't load news 10.2.16

Please fix this problem. App has worked fine for years. Now it crashes 50% of the time I use it

Can't find how to add teams and competitions in new version installed on new phone. Installing over old version on old phone my teams and competitions are all there but only have England games on new version unless I'm being dumb. No help or guidance anywhere as far as I can see.
