"Map Pad wants to access your location" —OK.fair enough. "Map Pad wants to access your media and photos" —hmmm... "Map Pad wants to access your contacts" —well, Map Pad can go f**k itself, then. Uninstalled. REPLY TO DEV: Maybe I [and other people] don't feel the need to "share" our entire lives with the world. Map Pad refuses to launch unless access to contacts is given. No way should that be a requirement for a mapping app to even run. [However, I have boosted my rating by +1 because you did at least take the time out to reply]

Gps in woods are not as reliable as we want so we will always need to use the boarder marker. Gps may be the easy way to find it but one picture of the marker would be awsome. In my case many times the boarder marker is something like a simple stone. So the objective would be to my father teach me the boarders and I would add them to the app. And would take a photo to the stone in every pin point.

Is there any kind of user manual or instruction for this app? It looks like something I could really use, but I'm not willing to fish around for hours trying to figure out how everything works. A website was mentioned but no website address is given. {update} developers response doesn't help me very much, but I appreciate the quick support, and I can tell that this is a serious app for serious users. I'm going to leave it to more experienced map and GPS jocks, but I'm guessing this is worth 3 or 4 stars.

Its good to use. Polygon colour change is not working on Samsung Note 3, please check.There should be a way to use different measurements together, like using or adding to area measurements. There can also be a lock mode enabled to ensure no changes are done inadvertently when viewing saved measurements. Will update as I keep using it.Thank you

It's cool app but lack these features pls do add them... 1. All saved measurements must be viable alltogether 2. Moving points is difficult pls increase the place holder point size sone bigger like it is in app "gps field area measure"
