Phenomenal. Lightning fast. Any region of the world in offline form available. An enormous number of extra features bundled in, only half of which ive even experimented with so far. Worth sticking to Android for this program alone. NOT a driving app though, no turn by turn directions that I'm aware of.

Great for tracking offroad trails.

New integration is with strava and thats great!!!

Lots of features. Love the ability to see the map and many other data points such as speed, elevation, temperature, etc. at the same time. Can't do that with Google Map. The problem is that it is just NOT usable! Spent over 10 minutes but unable to do a very basic, basic thing with a map app, i.e. map a route from point A to point B. At that rate, I would need a 40hr class to figure out how to use all the features this thing has. Wasted my time trying this app. Uninstalling.

I was not able to figure out how do I put two addresses and find the driving route .. after fiddling for about 45 minutes. I'm still trying to figure out how this thing has 4.6 *s (as of writing this review). I'm sure I'm missing something - perhaps not for average user likes me.

The best mobile cartography app I've ever seen. WMS service support! Easy to use. Also an optional cell data service based localization would be useful in following updates.

Best GPS app by far. Very customizable, and preferences and maps can be saved and transferred between devices. I love OpenCycleMaps. Only complaints are very minor GUI things.

Complicated and clustered interface, but still the best. This app has way too much going on. It's very complicated. This is good in a sense because it's very powerful. It also bad because it's confusing. I guess you just have to spend a lot time to figure it all out. The price is right and compared to almost all other GPS apps it is king. What it is really missing is a proper desktop app for route planning and especially map conversions.

Great great work dude :o) This app allow people to make very good field work. I used to record GPS data for scientific research and thanks to you my mobile is now a research tool. And thank you for making this app FREE!

this app has everything you need but the menus take a lot of time to learn. Other apps have much better interface. It even misses a single button to locate you position.

I have been using this app for years, on and off-the-grid, and it never let me down. Just remember to get your map before hand if you go off-the-grid.

Finally I found a working outdoor activity navigation app that works

I was forced into using this by the imminent demise of Google's Mytracks (the latest addition to the vast Google Graveyard of abandoned software). Now I wish I'd switched long ago. It does require you to invest a bit more time learning how to use it, and to locate suitable offline maps, but the investment is amply repaid - it does so much more. I think Google have done me a favour!

By far the best walking and cycling map app for Android I have found.

Needs to be able to use memory map stored to SD card. Would be great app if could.

I like this map app, although a bit laggy in my device. I'm hoping to have a complete tutorial of this app.

Update: 'Error- problems with some maps: /storage/emulated/0/...' 'invalid file size' for the scotland map download (I waited 2 hours for it to download too..). Phone refused to download Great Britain map, saying 'Error Downloading Map', perhaps website had something wrong with it? (AndroMaps site)

I use this great application since 2013, and I love it. I tried the new features, but did not manage to use the new multi tracking feature. Maybe you can publish a guide?

As a surveyor, I did applications of area using this app! Within +- 3m accurate! Also it is a powerful app for navigation, camping,engineering :)

There's just something about this app's UI—perhaps the slowdown—that turns me away. Otherwise, a solid map/tracking app.

U guys are great and ur work is far more than appreciable. U deserve a lots of thanks for ur work. The app is best for navigation, but the latest version has a flaw which is the absence of google and microsoft maps. If these two options r added in oruxmaps then i think it will become the perfect app for navigation. Try if it is possible. THANKS

But the latest version doesn't support google hybrid map in mi 4g.

Best mapping and GPS app on android. The only thing it lacks IMO is KMZ imagery support. Please add that if possible!
