Sprint Inspired by Spritz for Android
There is also "Read From Clipboard Feature" - just copy any text from your internet browser and press Read from clipboard Button in this App!
Do not try to pronounce the words in your head, just read and absorb every word.
Consider increasing the speed when you get used to your current wpm.
On 700 wpm speed you can read a 500-page Book in 3 Hours.
Sprint Reader supports: .epub, .txt.
Keywords: reader, speed reading, stream, fast, spritz, RSVP, epub, txt.
Works as advertised and I love reading books with it. My reading speed has jumped...but, the interface is clunky. It frequently loads to a different part of the the book. Scrolling through the book is difficult so trying to find my place is a pain. You can't bookmark your place and there's no search feature. Adjusting the wpm is difficult. Ex for me trying to adjust between 360 - 420 was basically impossible. Even the most miniscule of adjustment would jump between the 2. Can't sync between devices.
Each time I try to use the pro version I get "unfortunately sprint reader has stopped". Please refund me asap! The non pro version works very well however.
Wants to be rated to many times, and it wants to brag on Twitter and Facebook both of which I detest
I think pdf is a format that is used a lot, and you guys should add it to be able to be read. Also maybe having an optiom to select chapters or excerts from pdfs, and other files
But it cant read most formats so keep on working! Looking forward to it
If they make it easier to find your place in the book I would rate it five stars.
Takes a little bit of getting used to, but reading at 400-500 words a minute, hopefully even more in time, almost becomes an addiction. I feel like I'm plugging into the matrix when I start trading using this app - I know kung fu ;)
As others said, interface needs work, going backward and forwards and jumping to a position is a pain, choosing to play at top speed without holding is unclear. But the thing that's making me uninstall is that often it won't save progress. I can't work out when and why, but it makes the whole experience of book reading slow right down. Which is the opposite of what I want...
Its hard to find a specific Part of the book. Cant change colors either, only green to Black slider work when is on landscape
I was disappointed that it doesn't read PDF files, but it looks like an okay app otherwise. Note to author: your introductory text should say "... faster than ...", rather than "... faster then ..."
I can read faster then ever I love this program it's good with people that have dislexia as well or difficulty following long passages
If I could give it a negative rating I would have.
This application is great for plowing through any book from fiction to non fiction
Needs bookmarks. Bad interface. Accidentally scrolled when I tried to get to the menu, multiple times. ReadMe! was free and is much better. The spritz function on Sprint
This app is 99/5 stars. I'm totally in love with this reader.
Whenever I try to read a text from my clipboard it only loads for a while then goes back to main menu?
Garbage. Doesn't function well. You can't add your own content to read or if you can they make it very difficult to find out how
Great, really helps in reading faster and understanding what I read a lot more clearly. Just would like if I could save what I read from clip board. Overall I enjoy it.
A+ reader, please add some more file formats
I just won't read it unless I use Sprint :)
Saves a lot of time without compromising comprehension!
Thank you for the quick fix and responding so soon!
I like it, it helps me to read faster
The basics: fast reading, it works good. Colors are "so- so".
Get get get get it!!!!
This is da bomb diggity
Very clever, very useful
One of the best apps here
Awesome!
Nice...
Only txt format
My pick for Android
No pdfs...
I'm decidedly unimpressed that this program, in its opening dialogue no less, tells me that I am reading faster THEN the average reader. Please double check your grammar before releasing these kinds of programs. I am reading faster THAN the average reader. Here's an easy way to remember: thEn = timE thAn = compArison. Later, I'm told "You're doing good". Sorry, but, "I'm doing well" Superman does good.
Pros: Nicer interface than other speed reading software I've tested thusfar Core functionality (reading fast) seems ok Negatives: Can't actually get slider for position to reach the far end of the spectrum since it's too close to the edge of the screen. Kind of annoying as hell. Seems to have prematurely ended text Statistics are completely incorrect - it reported at the 'post to social media' screen that Alice in Wonderland was 111k+ words, when MS Word counts it as 27k. Further, if I read 111k words in about an hr, that's waaaaaaay faster than 300wpm. That's way out. Mostly, what I'm looking for here is: UI cleanup, proper stats (that can be more easily accessed. Tell me how much time I spent on a book, and how many words it has more accurately). Seems like it really needs that final 10% of polish.
I've noticed after using the app that I read many things books, news articles faster. I think it is because you get used to reading the next word, and don't get bogged down by distractions so much.
There really needs to be easier ways to get to the beginning of the book and ways to have book marks saved. I'd also appreciate a word or sentence search to help me find specific parts or chapters of a book. That being said: I'm reading instead of playing mindless games on my phone. I love this app. Edit:it keeps losing its place and staying from the beginning, it's getting infuriating. . -1 star. Still no updates and it keeps asking me to rate it. Fine, -another star... why can't it keep my f'n place?
You just have to try it yourself and see what you think. It met all my expectations and does what it says it will do and does it well.
Works good I would just like to be able to tell what page I'm one while reading. Also whenever I go back to read again it starts no where close to the same spot and I don't have a page number to find my previous place.

I love this app. I only wish it could remember my favorite locations to open new epubs from, because navigating android files is a pain. I'd also be happy if I could use this app as an "open with..." option when I open epubs from Dropbox.
