Learn to Meditate 1-5

I love this app. Very well thought of. To those who commented about the guide saying "Jesus christ said" and being disappointed that it was all religious-y.... in my humble opinion, he could have said " Mother Theresa said" or "Nelson Mandela said"... he was just referring to a quote about a heaven/shangri-La:/Nirvana. Name isnt the point, it is the peace and calm you feel that brings you to your own heaven.

I know why non-Christians like myself feel uncomfortable with Jesus being in this app. I am pagan, for one. I have nothing against Jesus but I feel like someone took my private spiritual moment and shoved in their religion. Unnecessary. The info is great. The voice/accent is not my cup of tea - too distracting.

Doesn't do anything. States to hit menu buttton but there isn't one. Used it on my older devices and it was great. Useless on this one.

Great app please keep improving it! I use it everyday. Don't worry about it being religious just take it for what it is, an excellent guided meditation app. It's definitely hands down the best meditation app out there, try it if you don't like it uninstall it. Anyone having problems with the menu button not being there, if you hold down the secondary button/menu/options button on your phone it will automatically pop up with the in app menu.

doesnt open on tablet and support is just as bad! its a huge download for nothing! All you seeis the picture Learn to meditate! Then when asking for support the answer is, what phone do you use, its a setting. yes im kidding you not, its a setting, looking in the settings there are nothing in regards to this app, the setting is BS!

To show a cheap still photo of a candle for the Candle meditation is BEYOND ridiculous. The WHOLE point of a candle meditation is to stare into the LIVE FLICKERING FLAME, which induces meditation. Similar to how watching a fireplace relaxes. It is such an easy meditation for beginners so it's a shame this cheapo app developer didn't give meditators the chance to learn it. Just gave a still photo for you to struggle with that you can't meditate to! Cruel. Please lookup candle meditation on YouTube instead x

I cannot gain access to any part of the app as the initial screen wants me to tap a menu button I do not have. By reading reviews I can see many people have the same problem, for a loooooong time. Feeling less calm. Big shame.

Great app, just what I needed! I first had the app in my tablet (Nexus 7) and it was just perfect! But then changed to my mobile (LG g3), and the menu button does not appear, so I can't access anything :( please fix it!

The voice is to fall in love with. So positive calm and inspiring. On a technicall side it does not close properly, and next time i open the app it does not let me get out of play mode.

Loved this app. It was my favourite meditation app. However due to upgrading my phone to a Samsung Galaxy 5, I can no longer start it, as my phone has no menu button. Would be very happy if there was a way to fix this problem. 5 stars if I could use this app again! ☺

Good sound relaxing. I dont like that it can't be paused or stopped by the stop button at top. I have to go to apps and force stop every time. It is annoying. I am going uninstall.

This app has taught me so much in the past few monthes from mindfulness meditation to the use of mantras to tame a cloudy mind. Its added so much peace in my life and I reccommend it to anybody.

I thought it was just meditation with no religious agenda but it launched straight into mentioning Jesus Christ in the first session. Not interested in being indoctrinated into a faith by an App thanks.

The app has some bugs, the scroll thing is useless. You can hit play, and that's it. No seeking of the track, stop does not work. Have to manually close the app. Plus the voice recording is low quality and unlistenable due to the loud background music, and the spit in the speakers mouth,or slur, or whistle, or whatever it is.

detracts from what could be useful visualization but will give it a full run through.

App is trash, doesn't update dont waste your time ,do not download. You will spend your time picking all your interests only to find the app doesnt work properly

Claims not to be connected to religions. THEN SHOVES JESUS AND HEAVEN DOWN YOUR THROAT! It felt like a betrail of a private meditation moment.

It says hit menu to get started. There is no "menu" to hit on my s5!

Please never, ever remove this from public access. It is the best and most dedicated meditation app out there. A massive thank you from Queensland!

... and it would be nice to be able to listen to the guidance without bgm (sometimes the bgm is louder than the guide and I find it a bit distracting) or change the volume of the 2 soundtracks, but it's a wonderfully useful app. Thanks. :)

Helpful but I can't use it with my Samsung galaxy 5, it has no way to access the menu. Sad because this is the best meditation for a wary beginner like me ever.

Well I thought it was a phone issue but I guess this app is truly broken. It stopped working on my Galaxy S4, but I recently upgraded to an LG G3 and the same problem occurs - unable to play meditation, it goes right to the reading every time. . Is anybody else encountering this? I have used this for many months and all of a sudden whenever I hit Play it just goes to the reading, for all three of the series. I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Love the app but it's now worthless.

Well first I am very much enjoying this apps however I just dont understand those atheists people complaining about this apps. The instructor using Jesus as a point of reference, why would you all getting butthurt out that? You people complaining about religious people are close minded but have you take a look at yourself? I am Buddhist by the way.

They use a variety of philosophical, religious and psychological references. The information in the classes is good, the guided mediations are great. My only complaint is that it does not exit and I have to restart my phone after using it or stop the meditation early.

Opening screen says "hit menu to start" but the galaxy s5 doesn't have one. Can't use app. Please fix.

I was able here 1st lesson then it froze where I cannt close program. So I loved what I did here would rate 5 stars if it would close so I can hear the rest

Anything that focuses on love, peace and joy is beautiful. Starts my day in right direction. I don't understand why others say its religious- don't see it. Yes they say the name Jesus but the concentration is on deeper things. Other apps I've tried just focus on relaxing. This one is more about more important things. I have 3 of their apps and love them all.

From the calming voice to the spirit lifting music, I get so much out of these meditation sessions. A few minutes of reflection in the morning sets my mind for the day.

I love this meditation app! It is so different from all the others. Yes, it does have a religious perspective,but I wouldn't say it's forcing a lot of dogma on you- it's pretty light on the religious content ;more like spiritual than religious. As long as you don't have a problem with Catholic christianity, this really is a wonderful series of guided meditations. I use it daily.

This app is awsome it doesn't push religion it honestly makes you so relaxed it's amazing. I'm new to meditation and it has guided my meditations I'm addicted I love all of them must download asap. Great app! Keep up the great work!
