Weather+ by Oregon Scientific for Android
The unit works but annoyingly the Bluetooth range is abysmal. Wireless would have been much better. Also this app is very basic and some of the features do not work. For example I cannot view weekly graphs. It would be nice to be able to export the data to a pc.
I bought this product because of the convenience of checking the "present" readings on my smartphone. Not a reliable or consistent performer. I also purposely bought it from who I believe is a trusty retailer for such devices... WRONG! It seems destined to finding its way back to Australian Geographic. Waste of money!
I bough two of these because I have two Oregon Weather stations that work great, and I needed to monitor my greenhouse's temperatures and humidity. This App works fine for me on my Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, although this isn't an approved device, listed in the very small list of approved devices. The history graphs are fine too and prove very useful. The Bluetooth can be a little unreliable though and although my greenhouses are close to the house, I have to go outside and walk up to them to get the connections again, but that doesn't happen a lot. My main problem is why isn't there any upgrade to the App, there have been several updates to the Android OS (I am on Android 7.0 now) but Oregon haven't updated the App for nearly a year... come on guys !
Breaks frequently even though it is running on a Note 4 one of the few supported devices. It only runs on a very few devices and badly at that. This is an example of how not to do an app
Someone must do research to find out how a company can develop the worst apps in the world. Oregon Scientific products are the lowest quality in any category - how is that possible?
Works like a dream on my Sony Xperia Z1. Perhaps, for future software updates, it would be nice to see bigger display measurement numbers and data on screen. Just to mention, data is being gathered all the time, by the sensor, even when connection is lost by the distance. As soon as connection is established again, it is downloaded and displayed on screen.
Weekly statistics don't work. From time to time sync fails, device needs to be rebooted then.
Was okay but now App no longer works .
Good job
The sensor is very neat & easy to pair with my Galaxy Note 3. The app information is pretty basic - temperature, humidity, pressure & a 12 hour forecast. That's supported by data history too. I sense that there may be developments in the future.

Bought a pair of these, one the full biz for outdoors and another basic unit for my bedroom. Set the outdoor one up in an all day shady spot and it registered 28.8C. All good so far. The other in my bedroom registered 26C, which was correct. It is now 10pm and they are both showing the exact same temperatures even after updates every 15 minutes. I know full well it is 21C outdoors. My advice, leave well alone!
