We’re ready for a new season, so we’ve been dropping the pounds.
Our delivery fees are looking a lot slimmer at a flat R10 for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We’ve got a very fine referral code that lets you pay for your meals with the credit you earn. Share your code on the app and you’ll see, a free lunch does exist.
As always, some fixes and performance improvements.

The most fast delivery service I have ever encountered... my food was a half an hour late but understandable because it is pay day so restaurants are generally busy. They called me apologised for the delay got a R50 coupon from them with my next order. They really are the best delivery service I have been with and I would never change... Thank you to the Order in team for such amazing service your drivers are polite and friendly... you guys are awesome! !!

I was initially very excited to use this app and shared it with all of my friends. But it takes up to 30 mins for a restaurant to confirm my order, which is when it only starts getting made and then takes an hour for 1 meal to be made before it is then delivered which also takes time. This means it can take from 1h30 to 2 hours to get my meal. Which is longer than it would have taken me to go into the restaurant and order it myself. Very frustrating!

Service was great at first. Yesterday we ordered at 11am and food never arrived after chasing for ours we were told the kitchen is now closed and they will refund. Today we order at 8:50 and food still haven't arrived at 11 after which I requested a refund as nobody could tell me where the food was or what time it would arrive for more than an hour. They then sent a replacement meal which was cold, I don't know why and I hope I will still be refunded. Absolutely pathetic, you clearly don't have control over anything or your driver's as its always 'I can't get a hold of the driver' or you don't know where they are. Uninstalled and will never use you again

App is pretty simplistic but the variety of restaurants is great... way better and cheaper than others I've used. The service I've received is phenomenal! Update I prefer the sms notification than through the app, because if it gets cleared by mistake there's no way to get the link to track the driver

I used to use uber eats, they take too long and sometimes "can't deliver to my location " when I've ordered from a place many times before. With OrderIn, I've never had hassles and the food is delivered quickly!

Firstly, you don't give the driver's number on the website to contact him. I ordered from Hudsons and the driver delivered some cheap food to us that we never even ordered. The website immediately went to another page so I couldn't even see the driver's name or number. I contacted customer service and no one picked up for 45minutes. The worst service ever I'd never recommend this app to anyone. What a waste of my money.

Horrific customer service. We waited for 3 hours for our order that never arrived. They know how not to take responsibility for their service. If I had not followed up they would not have known there was a problem - begs the question as to what tracking service they offer if any... clearly none. Waited 10 mins twice on their insufficiently staffed Call Centre. Order In still has not refunded me 4 days later (and has only requested the refund today after I alerted it to their attention AGAIN). DO NOT RISK GOING HUNGRY WITH ORDER IN.

Great service! Very affordable. The only problem I've had was the chinese restaurant in my area needs to update their menu. When you order a meal you can't unselect the extra rice so you always ending paying for 2 portions of rice. Besides that love it!

Sadly we had to go collect our food. When we got there the delivery guy had just arrived and blamed his timing on a change in app, saying that he can no longer pick up multiple orders like with the previous app, but that he can only pick up one at a time now. Im keen to try out the app again though...hopefully this doesnt happen again.

You complete all the Steps to order and then the last step it asks for your credit card details, otherwise you can't order... Stupid. If you don't have a credit card you can't use the app

Tried to order from the only place that delivers in my area. AFTER I ordered, I was contacted to say the menu is old and don't offer what I ordered. After they resolved that issue to say I can order again, the restaurant is closed on the app and now I can't order at all. Good work guys.

Works perfectly. Please ask devs to add code to auto-remove expired credit cards (based on exp.dat, obz). I could easily do it myself but I am incredibly lazy and spoilt. Thanks!

We used this app twice in the space of one week. The first delivery excellent..the second time we ordered from the same resturant which is less than 3km away..waited for more than an hour..the food arrived cold! Not sure who issue this is order in or the resturant

Never using Orderin again! Placed an order 1hr20m ago and still waiting. The app doesn't offer updates, and I'm sitting on the phone listening to their switchboard thanking me for my patience for the past 15 mins.... No way to cancel either, so I have to sit and hope food will actually arrive! Ridiculous...

Order was placed. After an hour I contacted the restaurant only to be informed that it's been sitting in their warming draw for the last 40 minutes waiting on the driver. We actually went to collect our own food which defeats the object of ordering in. Pathetic service. Don't use!!!!

Simple app, cheaper delivery fee than other similar apps. Restaurant variety is great if i order while at work (Bryanston) but is a joke if I try order from home (Greenstone - only ONE or ZERO restaurants show up... it's not like I live in the sticks??) So you lose my business to other apps if I ever want to order from home ..

Using this for quite a while. Works awesomely well. Drivers sometime find it difficult to find my place. The call centre service is also brilliant as I have heard from people who have experienced minor issues that needed sorting.

First problem is the app is way out of sync with the real time situation. Second problem is the drivers take way too long to collect food from restaurant. Your food can sit in a bag for 20 mins when it's only a 5 min drive from your house. I order from nearby places with fast food...still takes 45mins and more. I always wait on my stoep because my gate is locked. They always drive right by and waste 5 more mins searching. I ask the driver to use the map...he says data is too expensive. Used 8 or ten times now. Tired of it.

Really great app. Much cheaper than any other. Quick service, usually faster than estimated. One thing I would change is the ability to track the order via the app. I like to see the progress like I can on other apps. I wait for notifications from the app but when I click on them the app opens and there is no further info. Also need an option to cancel an order after the cart had been filled

I just ordered and wrote a great review but now I am changing it i wrote "Fast, great service, great range of restaurants, affordable... everything you want in a food delivery app!" But that was before I waiting 2.5 hours and I'm still waiting and my food still has not arrived. When I phoned for the 3rd time and politely suggested they offer me a refund they said they would consider giving me a R50 off coupon for my next order. I don't want R50 off if it means I'll wait another 3 hours for my food. And then I remembered that actually I've waited 2 hours for Order In once before. I am still waiting and I am very hangry.

The best app! Seriously, ive bought Mariam's kitchen and nandos on 3 occasions. Delivery says 45 minutes but honestly it was quicker than that. Also the people who deliver are so friendly. I will definitely order again and again. I called customer service as i had a query and the lady was so friendly, she answered all my questions.

It's a very good app, the payment system is a bit glitchy in that once I save my card, the next payment I need to make will fail. I have to delete the card and register again. Please look into that otherwise great app, and great discounts.

Works well. Have been using it for almost a year now. No hassles. Drivers always have trouble finding out place though but eventually find us.

I wish the actual delivery time was quicker. Sandwich Baron, for instance,is available on the app. My colleague and I ordered at the exact same time from Sandwich Baron, but she had already received and eaten her meal by the time i received mine from Orderin (she ordered directly from the restaurant). Otherwise i love the wide range of options and the opportunity to save on your oder by spreading the word

Placed an order, which then sat on "Awaiting confirmation - kitchen clos...". The app cuts the text off amd there's no way to see the rest, so I don't know if it's a warning saying the kitchen is closing soon, or if it's already closed. So I hop on the website and open the live chat to ask what's going on. "Usually responds within 20 minutes" I'm told. Cool, I type my message amd wait. 20 minutes later, after no response, I decide to phone. I sit on hold for 5 minutes listening to the most annoying music I've ever heard, after which I hang up. About an hour has passed at this point. About 10 minutes later I get a phone call telling me the kitchen is closed and my order has been cancelled. Nothing for my troubles, not even like 50% off an order... 5 minutes after the phone call the live chat finally responds, telling me the same thing. So now I'm hungry and pissed off...

Good service. Food took about 45 minutes to get delivered. Driver was very polite. A few suggestions: 1) You need to introduce different payment methods. 2) Instead of giving sms notifications you should give them via the app 3) Please get more restaurants, in our area we only have 5 available.

Orderin's service is fast and reliable. Their staff are always friendly and accommodating. My food comes to my door still piping hot, even during rush hour. My order is always correct and on the very rare occasion that my food gets delivered late, it's usually because a restaurant is very busy. Nonetheless, Orderin is a convenience that I cannot live without. 10/10

Firstly didn't give me my discount from a friend's referral. Then food took over an hour to be delivered from Nandos Sandton City. When I tried calling I was on hold for 10 minutes when the line was dropped. Would rather starve then use this app again
