The Palace of Versailles and Orange invite you to discover the Gardens of Versailles, the epitome of French formal gardens and the masterpiece of their creator, André Le Nôtre.
When you arrive at the Gardens, switch on your telephone’s geolocation system and begin your visit. When you get near one of the Gardens’ many points of interest, the app provides commentary prepared by the teams of curators, gardeners, fountain engineers and architects at Versailles. 2D and 3D maps of the Gardens also help you find your way around easily.
To expand on your visit, you can download additional visits free of charge. You should notably take a look at author Erik Orsenna’s original view of the Gardens of Versailles.
During your visit, record your comments, take pictures and set up your own gallery of the Gardens. Your Facebook friends can access your gallery and take advantage of it using the app when they visit the Gardens. Careful – this function requires a 3G connection.

I was at Versailles 1.5 weeks ago and downloaded this while I waited in the queue, but when I tried to use it, it just kept saying there were additional files that needed downloading first. I tried repeatedly to do that, but it never worked. I don't know if this is one of the bugs the developers are saying has been fixed with the update, but it does me no good now that I've left France.

Goes into continuous loop of file missing, downloading file ride then initialising then file missing, update, download same ride file. Needs sorting ! Reviews show its been happening since before November 2015. Useless Uninstalling.

Others have mentioned that it gets stuck in an endless update loop. Worse, it will eat your data allowance since the free Wi-Fi at Versailles doesn't work.

Read all reviews but thought of still trying it as I was in wifi zone (before reaching to this place). It is still not fixed and kept downloading updates non stop....terribly.... Google should remove this from play store...

I successfully installed the other Chateau de Versailles apps but this one kiss stuck in an infinite loop. "Some files are missing. Update now?" I click yes and wait 5 minutes while "Rides updating" downloads, then a few while it loads into the app, then 15 seconds while it initializes before I get the same error and update cycle. DO NOT INSTALL THIS BUGGY APP!!!

Tried downloading it at Versailles and it said that it needed to download an update. After downloading the update, it said that it needed another update. Never got it to work while I was in the gardens.

When started it says some files are missing. It said that it was downloading all night but didn't finish.
