Oracle MICROS InMotion Mobile for Android
Doesn't do much besides show timecards. Everything else is either wrong or 10-20 minutes behind in-store reports. With the most recent update does not work at all. I would suggest giving it more features like the ability to edit time cards and to look at the Day-Part sales from previous day's to compare. Oracle read my review instead of telling me to update
I'm using V3 22 77 for Android. Sales and other stats graphs update with around a 30 minute delay so all ok there, but there's no menu on the left, just a blank brown screen. Many others have reported the same issue on the Android version where the Apple version appears to give far more information. Why is this? Other than this, I get occasional "server not found" errors but these usually clear by restarting the app.
Has almost absolutely no value. All you can basically do is see revenues for the day you're in-nothing from yesterday or any other day-some labor stats, and that's it. No product mix or any useful information.
Just like the rest of the POS system. It SUCKS, due to persistent issues all the time. Hating it is putting it lightly.
Doesn't work as it should on android. Currently frozen and won't update my sales today. Also I don't have the left hand side menu to log out etc
Use it for my job as a restaurant management n works great.

Absolutely shocking app for android. It does not give any reports on the left for Pizza Hut UK and nobody seems to care from Oracle team. Have sent an email to support team who directed me to go to support page and contact the number. Have done so for one week in a row and nobody bothered to help. They have been transferring me from one department to another. When i finally got hold of an engineer tonight he was asking me account number and things which dont make sense and gave him what i got but he hanges up on me after waiting one hour to get hold of. As it stands there is no progress on this matter and dont think oracle team is up for the task. Surely i will get a reply now telling me to do all the above once again which i am not willing to do anymore because i have already done them all with no progress and instead having to spent hours to get in touch and then get the phone put down on me. Incapabable and rude staff.

**Update - I have to reinstall every 3 or so days. Emailed the address that Oracle sent me and received an auto jresponse to send the business information so that a sales rep can contact me. It's been 7 days (I understand there was a holiday and probably got to have a long weekend). Hopefully, I will hear from them soon. *** UPDATE ***01/18/17 UNINSTALLED for the last time since it hasn't worked. NO RESPONSE FROM ORACLE since 12/20/16 Using another app for real-time data****
EVERY.SINGLE.DAY the app has to be Uninstalled and reinstalled due to no network available error. Edit from my original post. Oracle, if I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it don't you think I would have the most up to date version. Smh, at least use your brain and think things through before commenting.....
Horrible that I cant see checks on my android samsung s6, doesnt make sense why this option is unavailable for android users. Kind of a waste of memory space for me and my managers. Good thing the one supervisor i have has an iphone. This really doesnt help when im away from the pub and cant see whats open and whats not though.
A huge difference between Android and Apple. On Android i can't see anything exept the sales and transactions. I would like to see for example the Labour control like the Apple. Can you pleasetell me how and when you will sorted out ? I am using a s7 edge samsung
I require this app for work and it has not worked for at least 2 months. The most recent update was in June, so I am up to date. Absolutely terrible, and all the developers say is update to the latest version. How about make a version that works for us to upgrade to!
For a company of this size this is a really poor effort. App crashes like 5 times a day. Functionality is very minimal. Apart from checking revenue and very few other stats this app adds 0 value. Oracle??? Don't believe it
works sometimes. doesn't work sometimes. I'm sure I'll get the same BS response like the rest, to contact customer support so we can fix the issue. issue is simple...it doesn't work. as a consumer of your product that is broken, I should be refunded any time it doesn't work.
New name, same crappy app. Edit from my 11/2/15 review, the fact it took you a year plus to notice and then ask me to open a support claim is absolutely hilarious and vintage micros support. If there were negative stars you would get them
Unbelievable that one of the largest and most powerful tech companies can't seem to figure out how to keep this app running. I am sure that Oracle knows there is no other option linked to MICROS, and just puts this on the back burner. It is upsetting to know that we pay for their services and they don't care.
So disappointed a multi billion dollar company can not get this working. As soon as they change the old version of this app every bug started to show up. Every time app open says can't connect to server and does not show any of options on the left side as it used to for example check number etc... I bought a new phone few days ago so fresh install and same result
This app has been down for more than 20 days and the company I work for has attempted to make contact, no response and no solutions. Can't view daily sales and progress as promised. Very disappointing.
Can someone from Oracle please contact me. I have submitted a work order and the app still doesn't work properly. I uninstalled it several times and nothing. Please don't recommend I contact customer care because I tried that too.
Worst app ever works 1 day every 6 weeks or so. Call support and they don't even know what I'm talking about. Oracle has no idea about the hospitality industry.
Everytime i try to open the app there's is an error message? This app probably worked one or twice since I've had it. Always has an error message when I try to login. Can someone fix this? I'm not the bogging fan of micros to begin with but this is just sad..........
I do not write many reviews but this app has some serious stability issues. There are tons of posts with the same problem where the app will work for 2 days than show "network unavailable" every time you try to open it. I used to be able uninstall/reinstall to get it to work but now that won't even work. It is mind blowing that you could have this problem go on for so long without fixing it. Now I am stuck without access. BTW I have a Galaxy S7 and it seems that software has had issues Samsung for some time
Absolute garbage. The old micros inmotion app while buggy actually worked. When I try to open the new version it simply says network unavailable and that is the only thing the app does. Have uninstalled and reinstalled on Motorola Droid turbo 2 and still does nothing. My company is in the process of converting 32 locations away from Micros/Oracle because of the horrible tech support and technology that simply doesn't work.
Is this app network ever going to become available? Is been telling me network unavailable for a couple months now and I'm sick of having to call my businesses to see what sales are all because the app says network unavailable. Please freaking fix this issue.
This could be a great tool for a company, but it seems to not connect more than it connects.
Love the app but got a new phone the other day and it's asking me to put in a URL, every time I do it tells me it's incorrect. Does anybody know?

I can log on but most times it doesn't show me anything, no sales or labor and when I click on the left to see all the extra functions there is nothing there at all
Need it for work, but it kicks me off every other week. Have to Uninstall it and try to reinstall it. Sometimes it works, other times not.

I can log in on my desktop and laptop but it tells me my username and password are incorrect when I try to log on through the app. WHY?!!!!!

I am using this app (ver 7.22) with android Samsung s8. Do not have the left menu functionality. Only a blank screen with the version number. Wonder why the android app is crippled while IPhone version has all functions as advertised. I have emailed at the address provided to hopefully have this bug fixed.
