Ordered a K1 swipe reader the day I opened my hair salon have been in business 7 weeks still no sign of it ! Staff don't seem to know when they are coming seems weird a device can take this lone pretty sure I could get a car manufactured and sent from Japan faster ? If it doesn't turn up next 2 weeks I want my $99+ gst back and will go elsewhere. as this is becoming a joke

K1 reader is one of that most painful things to use. Two passwords which you have to re enter on that crappiest keyboard on the planet. Every time it takes more than a few seconds to load the screen locks and you hand to start over and spend 5minutes trying to type the password again. How is the keyboard so bad? It's really really bad no joke. What a bit of junk for something like $350 to get set up. Terrible.

Great & handy App but would be better if the amounts didn't get dumped in bank as a 'bulk deposit'.. makes tricky to reconcile in accounting.. & wowser the fees soon add up!

First of all had problem setting up initial account with swipe. Then waited for reader as they ran out. Then reader was faulty. Waited for a new one. Now its here cant use it. Have manages to get connectivity to my phone eventually however cant get the app to change to the rwad rather than manual input. So can't use. Have tried calkinf 24/7 helpline. Dont advertise 24/7 if ita not. Im just generally really unhappy. Bad support bad device. App is generally good. .

Had it for 2 years and we got 2 for our mobile vans. Hot-spot always drops off. Server down problem. Back service. All crap. Finally found out they were deleting the K1 reader for good and then now heard SWIPE is in receivership. Sitting now with $800 if worthless machines

I've had my Swipehq K1 reader for nearly 2 years now, no major problems, done hundreds of transactions without issue. Bit hard for customers to enter pin numbers on K1 at times, you have to hold it the right way. Apart from that all good

Service was great for frist 5 months but had intermittent service all week, bad communication with help desk...we can't run our business with unreliable eftpos..get it sorted...busiest time of year for us.

Looks like I'll have to downgrade or get something else.

K1 reader works well but battery life is only 3-4 hours. Swipe software is OKish, it needs more work done in the UI and work flow. It makes you go through TOO MANY steps per transaction so is SLOW to use. It would be nice if you could enter amounts without a decimal place like other EFTPOS terminals and tills ie. 450 for $4.50 instead of 4.5 for $4.50 , could be an option. Email/sms receipt step should be an option not mandatory step, again option in setup, also these days printing could be supported via bluetooth etc. (tap)New Sale - enter amount - (tap)continue - (tap)continue - (tap)Yes - wait for K1 reader(up to 45sec) - beep - swip/insert/tap card .... This needs streamlining! Finally receipt issuing from transaction list, you can refund why not issue receipt? In it's current state it's only good for low volume, low speed use.

Hardly works, had initial problems with connectivity, have had problems taking australian cards, have had problems wjth transactions being accepted on k1 reader then later being told to retry on the app. Lots of hassle and stress for what could be so good. Proceed with caution.

Pin never works so have to reset it reach time which is a real hassle. Apparently works good on iPhone. Update : pin issue for android now fixed. 2nd update to this review : now the invoice screen doesn't work and stays blank. Poor

Stalls on the syncing screens and forgets login PIN. Huawei Ascend G300 + Cyanogen Mod (Android 4.2.2)

Being able to take credit and debit payments via my phone at markets and the like is just brilliant
