Domiciliary Optical Chart for Android
Great for domiciliary work, can use a Bluetooth keyboard as a remote. Extra single letters would be a great addition
I've been using this in a domiciliary setting all week and it's fantastic. One thing that is needed though is the ability to calibrate the chart separately in landscape and portrait modes... works great in landscape for me, but then the letters are too big in portrait mode!!!
Having been using this chart in a domiciliary environment, it is the best design i have come across. Its simple to use, using the Wii remote with it removes any need to walk back and forth from the chart. The single letter chart makes testing patients with dementia so much easier as it eliminates confusion for the patient. The ability to write your own instructions on the chart is excellent when seeing deaf patients, making the test simpler for everyone without the need to shout. Using the picture chart is excellent for a range of patients, the pictures are simple and clear suitable for children. Definitely the best chart i have seen on the market!
Love the portability and that it is so adaptable. Useful to have the slides you can personalise especially for people where hearing is an issue

I am eagerly awaiting the Bluetooth remote control through an android phone. The Bluetooth keyboard option may be sufficient. The Wii controller is not compatible with my new tablet, but the charts and functionality are simple and perfect for what I need.
