This is an incomplete app. Ex. In the arpeggio section all chords light up the major arpeggio regardless of what chord the app claims it to be. Also in the barre chord section not all the possible inversions are avaliable. Ex. The major add9 chord is a 4 note chord, ONLY 4 notes. So I want EVERY inversion in EVERY location on the neck, not only the few 5 and 6 note shapes they give. But because I'm the only one smartest to see all this, I probably won't get my legitimate needs met. Sad isn't it.. Thanks!

I caved in to the 100.00 off for wireless guitar. I am done trying to get this thing to work with my android devices. got it to work once but what a crappy way to use this guitar. I should have bought my friends wired guitar that worked with my guitar pro 6 and 7 versions. I don't have any ios devices so until this paperweight works with guitar pro i give it less than 1 star.

Well first it lights up the wrong chords that are displayed on the phone and if I switch scales or chords the connection drops.

Does not have blues scales. This is an extremely limited application

Oh dear... When the screen powers off, the bluetooth connection to the Fretlight is severed and the fretlight lights switch off! There's a setting on my phone to keep the connection alive, but this doesn't work with this app. It only works with....everything else ever developed, just not this. This gives me about 30 seconds playing time. The app crashes...a lot! A crash will turn the fretlight lights off. This seems to have been really poorly thought out. When the phone screen goes dark which in turn switches the guitar lights off, opening the phone causes the app to reset to something other than the state the user left it in. So if you set the app to A minor pentatonic over the whole neck, opening the phone back up reveals an a major scale in the 5th position. There's literally no way to use this app that makes it worthwhile. A wired connection for the guitar to a PC would be nice, but this seems to have gone away in favor of bluetooth only (which is a disaster of a technology at the best of times) My laptop doesn't have BT4, so I'm stuck with this phone app for now, and this app is poorly designed, buggy and generally useless. Update. I downloaded the Tasker app specifically to keep this app alive. This is the only app I have that needs this. No other Bluetooth app has this problem. It's supposed to work work Guitar Pro, but this isn't available on android. Some in built chord/scale functions are wrong....minor arpeggios with 3rds instead of flat 3rds for instance. Finally....it's ugly! Deeply, offensively ugly! The Fretlight concept is a great idea, but Optek have shot themselves in foot with 600 series (which are excellent guitars) with this horrible, horrible software. Why, one wonders, are they so proud about not having a system that can hook up to a laptop? Most users have a laptop and laptops have usable screen area. Much work needs to done here. This could be great....but it's not, it's awful.
