Good to see your general security status in one place that way you can address any problems it may have listed. Also can check the validity/safety of your apps. Can be a bit processor hungry so wouldn't recommend for older phones and/or with not much memory space. Interface could be better laid out with simpler ' problem --> press to resolve ' kind of layout instead of having to go through extra pointless layer. They are the only gripes, apart from those it is a good app !

It doesn't say anything about being a business type antivirus, why is it asking for a business name and also my job description. If I were in a business, I would not be using play store to get an antivirus program. Very lame. Also I think the play store should allow you to choose NO STARS as an option.

Metadefender is a great help, locating suspicious Internet connections as well as suspicious apps. It is not very fast; there is a lot of Internet traffic. But that is part of the price to pay for seriously good security.

I really like Meta Defender web and desktop offerings, but this app is a weak attempt. Most to the functionality is completely pointless. The world does not need another app providing a "Health Score" for our phones. The most important feature, scanning installed apps for malware, is completely useless in it's current form. After the scan completes, it's impossible figure out what problems we're detected. First of all, the infected apps should be shown at the top of the list not buried in an unsorted list.The list isn't even alphabetically sorted. Second, browsing the list is effectively impossible. Scrolling is completely unresponsive. Attempting to scroll the list either results in a 2 second pause and then the list jumps to the scrolled position. Even worse attempting to scroll often results I the list pausing for 5 seconds and jumping to the end of the list. I tried for 10 minutes to find the 1 infected app in a list of 250 apps. I never succeeded. This is useless. Uninstalling.

Gears Mobile app allows me to quickly see the security and health state of my device at a glance. For a free product (without any ads) it provides a lot of value. I don't like installing a bunch of security apps to protect my device, considering how much security is built-in to newer versions of Android. This app is different in that it mostly checks on how my device is configured to make sure I'm taking advantage of the features already freely available in Android. It does have one active security feature though, it scans my device's active IP connections to see if any of them are suspicious or blacklisted.

It's very VERY slow and I'll get warnings about suspicious or infected apps, but when I click the details, the cloud says I'm clean. I don't get it.
