Yarn Inventory

Edit: my icon for adding yarn disappeared. Several weeks of inventory and use of this app is now a waste since I can't get the button back. even a reinstall I couldn't get it back. On either device. DO NOT BUY!!!! Inventory is so easy, did about 300 skeins in 2 hours. So easy to use. Wish we could partial amounts for partial skeins to our needs list. Also an option if we have the yarn in a cake, ball, skein, or hank plz! If I get this it's 5 star all the way! Edit: no response to what was a simple request.... also would be nice to see a total of all skeins of each section. Simple things would really help this app

I don't understand how to start adding yarn. I have no icons for adding yarn ore template. Please tell me where I can find the icons! I want to love it but first I have be able to use it

Blank screen, no way to ad inventory or shopping list.

Won't show me my list of yarns entered as shown on sample screen shots. Wasted .99. Uninstalling.

Opens to a blank screeen. Cannot add anything at all. Very frustrating .

I bought this and It won't open right..so I Uninstalled it and reinstalled did it..it charged me twice and still doesn't open right...please fix or refund me my 2.00 ...

Only reason I wouldn't give it 5☆ is that I would love to see it include a picture field. It would be heaps better being able to see the yarn and not just the specs.

This app requires a menu button which is getting phased out now, so an inbuilt button in the app is sorely needed. Unusable til then.

Downloaded app and all I got was a blank screen...very disappointing.

I paid, and all I get is a black screen on my Samsung Galaxy 5. Please work on it or refund my money.

The galaxy s5 does not have a menu button so I can't access the log! I loved this app before I got my new phone last night. Sad now

Would be a 5 star if there was a color swatch photo for reference. Also an improvement would be the capability to scan the barcode for easy input. Just a few ideas.

I regretfully paid for this app, added my yarn now the app won't completely open, so now it's useless. I liked it when it worked. Will update if they improve it and it works.

Awesome application. Just make sure you put how many you have or need or else it won't show up in the list. Took me a few tries to figure that one out.

1- I've had to make my own location field(thereby making the LINE NOTES field unusable) 2- would love Love LOVE to be able to SCAN the label for ease of inventory management 3- PLEASE please plz add a PHOTO option. The above 3 concessions would get a 5★ rating from me!!

This is awesome! I love the exhaustive fields (dye lot, weight, etc) and it's really easy to use. The only thing I would add is a personal notes field where I can put an intended project idea or a bin location where the yarn is stored. All in all a great app!

Wonderful so far! A few things would make this even better... 1. Ability to add images of yarn 2. Ability to add prices of yarn and place of purchase 3. Notes field Thanks!

Wonderful application and a great beginning. Adding more templates of the mainstream yarns such as Caron, Bernat, Red Heart, Patons, etc. would make it even more awesome. Can't wait for the needle/hook inventory. Is it possible to edit the preloaded templates? I'm really anal, so please forgive me, but the Lion Brand template should say "Lion Brand Yarn" not "Lion Brand Wool" since much of their yarn is not wool. A minor thing. All in all, terrific work. I'm looking forward to the updates!

It really bothers me that you can't view all the details about a yarn without being in an edit mode. What if I accidentally add or delete information I don't (or do) want there? Otherwise, it is nice to have all the info in one place for shopping purposes and avoiding duplicates if you don't need it.

But I'm super excited! Maybe you could add a barcode scanning function to populate templates? That is the one thing I have been looking for in a knitting inventory app. Also adding increments to amount of yarn you have or need for situations where you don't use a whole skein. Maybe a category for scraps of yarn? Thanks!

I'd love an option to take a photo and store it with each yarn though.

Excellent, exactly what I need. It would be amazing if it were compatible with a bar code scanner for one touch input at the time of purchase. Or maybe with the Ravelry blog site...

This is a good start. I like the feature of the templates. Would really love to be able to add photos to each yarn inventory item though. Looking forward to future updates.
