Opera Mini - fast web browser

Still not satisfied. it fails to properly load sites where security code and other formalities have to be filled up. but uc browser do it with alot expertise. so I'm still discounted with the quality service one must provide in case of web surfing. apart from that the speed it provides is superb. that's why I chose to with 3 stars. if that problem I'm encountering get solved them for sure I'll choose to go with 4.5 stars.

Why do I keep getting a prompt about "More in Opera Mini", when I already have the latest version installed and am in fact in the app when it surfaces that dialogue box? Also, text selection in the browser is terrible. I wish you'd​ let us use the significantly better system tool instead.

Fast and ad free the best browsers ever. Though would love to have images displayed at full quality because even at high quality images are a bit blurry. Also needs a bit of tuning on selecting note messages on Deviantart as of right now clicking on them doesn't work more often than not.

Opera browser is something that I've grown very attached to over the years, and they have hardly ever let me down. I use this browser for all the light weight browsing and reading, seeing as how it not only saves a lot of data, but also protects from some annoying ads. Thank you Opera. Keep developing.

I never experienced problems with the last version. This new version sucks. The ad block does not seem to be working even though it's on. I've used the new version for 30 minutes and already saw 10 ads while browsing through the news feed. From 0 to 10, that's annoying.

I've just realised that the start page content has improved a lot since last time. Now that I don't have to disable it no more, I deleted my last review and make this new one. However though, it still can be improved by giving a slight detail of the what the news is all about. Like some short first sentences it contains, not just the title and an image. Thx.

last two updates ruined this app. pop up ads at bottom of article drag display down , making it impossible to read final paragraph of articles. the ad filter seems to have been disabled by new advertising programs.

Constant pop ups asking me to make it the default browser. A stupid red arrow appears at the bottom of the home screen everytime I launch the app, then disappears a few seconds later. Used to be great. Now it's annoying. Moving to my other browser.

Use to rate this app as 5 star now down to 3. Most times when I pull down to refresh a catagory I get "connection failed try again " Uninstalled and reinstalled which worked for a while now the problems back.

When I was young, My mother's phone had a opera mini. We use browser instead because it was slow and not productivity. But now! It was wonderful! Very fast, Smooth. I like it. But there are some bug. But I like it anyways! Thank you for improving it very Wonderfully! I hope you will read this!

Last two updates made couple of my most visited sites to malfunction, like, it reloads a wrong link, instead of going to the first unread post, it shows couple of days old post, when the page takes long time to load, the app asks me to turn off data saving. twcenter, reddit, zerohedge have these malfunctions.

I didn't like of showing first time left in downloading, then showing how much mb downloaded and then the speed all three at one place. I can view the speed and time left in downloading from the upper part. Then why it is shown below the file which is being download?

Nearly perfect browser except some things which bothers me too much. 1. No option for request desktop mode of website 2. No background download. Downloder is phenomenal but not able to download large files when screen is locked. 3. Ability to switch data saving mode in single tap. Majority of sites break while using automatic data saving mode. But to use interactive websites ,i have to go to data saving activity again and again to use website. I know these features are quite demanding but majority of them are simple modifications in existing ones.

It has in app ad pop up blocker so I don't get any of the annoying Tesco spam mails I got the whole time whilst using Chrome. Very fast loading pages.

Its crashing too much and lagging though my phone is having 4gb of ram and 64gb of internal memory where almost 40 gb is still free.. please do something quickly.

The font calculation is really annoying, other web browsers don't do this. remove this feature we don't need it only then will I rate 5 star

File uploading always fail.. Cannot post in facebook pages.. new outline also difficult.. How can i go back to previous version.. Otherwise its really worst app ..

The app is good. I hope in the next update REMOVE THE LIMIT SIZE OF DOWNLOAD, ADD A FEATURES THAT BOOST OR SPEED UP THE DOWNLOADING AND FIX THE ISSUE OF SOME BROKEN FILES DUE TO PAUSE/PLAY WHEN DOWNLOADING

I like the app. One thing i don't understand. Why give me the option to opt out of certain websites and articles. When i do that. Next time I go back here they are again.

Best browser in my opinion but..... Download manager has a (recently added) feature of deleting files if you swipe them, the most hated thing I think, please developers remove it, rest is best.

You technical support guys have to make suicide in Pakistan in name of humanity cause see uc browser they make good ui and here having lagging issue.. Shame on you

Opera mini new good browser all the time I'm loving it. but recent updates onwards no any pages not opening properly it hanging I'm unable to open this trying lot of the time but not opening any foldable please solve my problems

Some websites is not open like ojas.gujarat.gov.in please solve this problem. PDF files is not download. Dynamic sites is not opened. You really disappointing my trust. I filed complain on your mail id and no response from your side.

Its good... But i have this one issue... Its downloads go away when i begin a large download of like 1.4 GB the entire thing just stops no speed or anything is shown

Loved it, would have been a 5 star app but I HATE THE NEW UPDATE! Can you please remove the Ads that you have included in my newsfeed which apparently I have no control over. Worse, there are ads for porn apps. Why are we forced to see such even when we block ads in the Opera App??

This rating is for Java one....,but also for android..,.....Just Needs some improvment.......and quite bit changes..... But please show the Top stories on our selected contents.....

After update the browser become more slow and always show the notification for disable the data and ad blocker mode. New pages or links can't open. It can't load anything after open, if the page open then it can't scrolls up and down the page becomes non responding page. please do something or make a new update of this and solve this.

Has someone reported that in the latest update it makes bookmarked link become unsorted? I have this problem. My bookmarks not sorted alphabetically. Most of them are Facebook page link. I have to uncheck and check it again to make it alphabetically. But after closing the app, it will be no alphabetically again. How to fix this? Sorry for bad English.

Best mini browser. Ever. But I'd be glad if you fixed the automatic addition of unwanted speed Dial, it's annoying.

Its been working quite well until i updated it yesterday, it freezes every time i open it, please just downgrade it to the previous version or update and remove the bugs. I have denied it one star

This is my default browser but i can't play videos in some sites since last few months especially porn sites & NSFW videos though i have a good internet connection (3G) kindly resolve this issue.

Because of the anti-Christian content on the feeds of the homepage , I'm going to uninstall the app. You guys demean our religion whereas it's always shown that other religions are superior.If Christians are reading this,then they should do the same . Until , Opera stops spreading hate by attaching patheos website to our feeds and insult us .Not a single feed against Islam or anything else

Great app. Fast browsing and saves data, I'm addicted to browsing n I've been using this app for a week. Guess what? 5055 ads blocked. Not even a single pop up

Opera is a great application especially with the option of ad blocking. Wonderful customizable windows, selection of data usage although I'm having challenges in switching it to use desktop mode

Just great. Update as of 07/18/17, knocking off 3 stars because I just found out this app. Is now Chinese owned!!! Prolly spying on us.

Runs like a dream on Wileyfox X2. Was a bit concerned I had bought a dud phone when the Chrome browser kept freezing. Installed Opera Mini and now my cheap as chips phone runs like a mid price Samsung. Very pleased.

Love it and use this app everyday, but After the latest update, operamini always stuck and its said " the operamini has stop " if i choosed "closed" it made my phone freeze only black screen, and i should reboot my cellphone to make normal again . This always happen everyday now. Please fixed it. Xiaomi note 3 snapdragon

Wow this one is more useless than the larger one... Can't play videos, more like it's just displays it's thumbnail nothing more nothing less.

It used to be the best browser ever. But for Now this browser is just like any other browser, slow, too many add, config and animation.. I love opera who used to be simple and fast. :')

The button to show the site in desktop mode still is gone or hidden for some strange reason. And back button is not working as close button now... Thanks for killing this app! It forced me to look for a new browser! ...aaand finally i found the perfect browser for my phone! (rsbrowser + Qualcomm chipset: fastest and most energy saving). Good bye opera :/ I liked you a lot.
