Open Snow Ski Forecasts

It's my go to app for planning my weekends and sometimes work meetings in the winter. I've paid for all access for 5-6 years now and it's worth every penny. Joel is forthright about how much his models can predict and is usually spot on, and he writes really well. I like how Sam (I-70) always warns about having the right tires and vehicle for driving. CO needs more of that to keep drivers safe and minimize traffic due to accidents. Great snow predicting app. I highly recommend it.

Great app with great forecast discussions. Would it be possible to add past snowfall (ex last 48hr, 72hr, and 5day cumulative totals) to a resort's snow report. Having that would be amazing and I would certainly pay for it if necessary!

The only team to trust with your ever so important snow data and forecasting. I talk about Joel like he's a personal friend when planing ski trips. Great app, tons of info for free and worth supporting. I literally won't go skiing without reading what's on open snow before I get out of bed.

Perfection

Joel and Company have done a wonderful job with both the site and this app. The forecasts are excellent (I usually view Brian's in Tahoe), and the app is packed with features like bookmarks for your favorite hills with up-to-date conditions and webcams in the app itself. Well worth downloading, and their subscription service is super reasonable too if you want to upgrade.

Ive been using the app for about 3 years now, back when there were no subscription charges. Because I use this app as a one stop shop for powder days, powder forecasts, snowfall history and more, I had no problem when there became a subscription plan option. Joel does a fantastic job aggregating data from many sources to display within the app and to do his forecasting in detail. Instead of using 3 diff apps to get your ski/mtn info, download this one and I guarantee you'll be as satisfied as I've been!!

Opensnow is the king of pow day forecasts. Joel's forecasts are always as accurate as weather can be. Great forecasts and great app. Clean UI and easy to access info. Great job.

Love this app! I just recently started having problems with images not loading. Especially with the Daily Snow forecasts. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still no change.

Landscape doesn't work. Please allow us to view webcams in landscape mode.

Not showing pictures or models

It's a good app, but while scrolling down and reading a forecast the ads cause the app to jump away from where you are reading and back to the ads. I've seen this in a lot of apps lately and I uninstall all of them. Ads are fine, but when they actively interfere with the UI, it's unacceptable.

Absolutely useless app for Europe and Asia. Wanna catch some amazing Siberian powder or sink in Himalayan deep snow? Forget about this app!

Best ski forecasts hands down

Initially I thought the application was worthless because it didn't recognize or pick up the first two mountains that I punched in, which were Eldora mountain and Loveland Ski Area. But I decided to give it another shot and see under mountains if I could just select off of what they had already on their database. It gave me an error message saying quote, there is a problem connecting to the server.

Love the app and using it almost daily. One of the webcams for my favorite resort was unavailable while another was missing. Emailed the team about it and the webcam feed was updated almost immediately.

The website & content is fantastic, but this Android app falls short due to poor design & UX. Sliding action bar, bad back button navigation, & highlight states that mask text are just a few of the problems.

Seems like bugs were fixed but you still have to pay for content....
