Stagelight: Audio and MIDI DAW

Not sure why your software would not be compatible with one of the top of the line tablets by Samsung. It does not work with either my tab S10.5 or 8.4. Also, why charge for a key when I already have an account with you on my Windows 10 Surface Pro? Update: I'm waiting for the beta version invite and will change my rating after I get it working on my tablets. Thank you to the developer for a quick response that makes sense without excuses. Update: Works great and I love it.

Stagelight by OpenLabs is a great creation made by the company.An interesting DAW which is powerful and userfriendly at the same time.All controls can be operated with simple understanding.Its a wonderful DAW which has a lot of bundles that are present in the store which u can get from time to time to upgrade your Warehouse.It has good, quality audio samples ,loops, beats that can be incorporated into any piece that u would like to make.What ever genre u want just scroll through the store and at the click of a button u have it in your arena to play with.Has authentic bundles by Linkin Park,Timbaland which is very awesome.U can use vat plugins ,record stuff into it and even use the DAW in your iPad or Android phones which is one thing many DAWs don't have.I love Stagelight and I recommend people reading this that u get it immediately.U can download it from the Openlabs website for free. Don't miss the fun!!!!!!!

I love my Stagelight app it's great when I'm on the go! I Just do my thing and then I can bring in to the studio and merge what I did on my phone with my Stagelight on my Mac. In fact I have to say at first I was bummed because when Stagelight first came out it only worked on a PC and all of my other DAW programs were on my Mac Pro.. = (. when they came out with it for Mac I jumped on it right away.. This is one of the worst music apps I've ever downloaded. I'm deleting it immediately after posting this review. If you're thinking about downloading this app: don't bother. It'd be more effective to sing into a bottle and attempt to give it to someone. I wish there was a way to give zero stars on here but unfortunately there isn't.

Although Its my first DAW software, I do think it has enough features to build an okay sounding song. The loop builder is my favorite feature so far. Other things like music editing seems very basic. It still seems like a software with a lot of room to grow. Some of the UI is weird, and I wished there are more hotkeys for the pc version.

The only thing I dont really love about the app is that 1. Midis dont read correctly for a majority of the song and 2. On PC there is not a VST drum option which can make things a bit difficult but overall the app is quite good and very good for on the go making music! :D

I'm sure it's a great app but it doesn't work for me, I can't get it to update. It asks me to give the app permission to storage and microphone, which I have done, but it still says 'there was a problem downloading the update'. Any help would be great, thanks.

Needs an update. LOTS of latency on Galaxy S6. Near impossible to stay on beat because the sound is late, and tapping early completely throws the user off. Also, the tempo of the demo should be lower so new users have a chance to adapt. Scrollable interface is better than tiny buttons; lots of kisses along the edge of the screen. Just make it adaptable to different resolutions.

I love the Quality and everything, but since I've upgraded it, I have gone through technical difficulties with recording music by having no sound from the Touchscreen keys come out on the ElectroBass, ElectroKeys and ElectroComposer parts. I have sent you my Email twice on this issue.

Why so many bad reviews? Are people stupid? This is a great user friendly app. I'm really enjoying this DAW. Thanks.

Won't let me download the extra files. you probably need super fast internet. once the internet slows down a bit it gives you an error message and recommends you to download it from the beginning.

Until you provide a way for me to record my music, this is a flop. I had high hopes when I saw this competes with garage band. How do I record my music I wrote on guitar and piano on this. Am I missing something? Are you?

StageLight is really revolutionary in terms of using what was already there for other platforms and building on it and giving us a really flexible DAW that I can use on my PC and Android devices (maybe Ipad if I choose to go that direction). I enjoy being able to be immediately creative once I open the app and start creating music. My favorite feature is the design and workflow UI.

I thought everything was too small to touch on a phone screen, but it turns out you can scale it up in the settings. There are still a lot of awkward edges, but as far as making music on Android goes, Stagelight is one of the better options. It's such a shame that Android can't get the glitch free low latency buffers possible on iOS, but again Stagelight is workable despite the platform limitations. As the founder of an ART+TECH non-profit that aims to inspire through experience, it's great to see software with a mission to teach people. Add a star for the developer being responsive and I can whole heartedly recommend checking this software out, even if I won't be using it as my daily DAW.

Stagelight is a very awesome app. For years I struggled with making music and with this app I have tapped into a part of my creativity that I never knew I had in me. I have been able to write over a hundred songs that my friends listen to over and over. Thank you stagelight.

Very versatile daw! As an old fl studio junkie, I'm very impressed and looking forward to honing my skills on it. The sci fi fx are amazing too, haha.

Lol! Google asks the most random questions! But seriously, this app is pretty good! Um, wish I could use it on my tablet, but I'll live. I am NOT an expert on this kind of thing as I prefer pen and paper, but it does what it needs to, and the instruments sound very nice! Looking forward to learning more about it and making something nice!

Great music app!! The problem is, I don't know how to copy patterns or beats and have them replay over and over again.

I was complaining about changing the languaje, But it was my mistake. Any way, the spanish translation could be better.

Update: got an LG V20 and now the app doesn't want to export the tracks so I can't transfer the audio files to my computer Great tool for on the go music creation made easy. It's like a memo pad for your beats and the export process is extremely easy. Incredible app!

Best DAW I've ever used. Runs clean on a Pc, and the mobile version isn't bad at all if you've got the space for it. The interface is amazingly simple and user friendly, and is more than equipped for even the most experienced producers. Price is good and the quality is there, I HIGHLY recommend this app!

This app is quite awesome!! Not only can you mix and Utilize DJ Tools to play with the loops library but you can edit and create your own rhythms and sounds. One of the best music productions apps I have found. LOVE it!,,

Not designed for people serious about audio. Feels very much like a "market by flash and buzz word" design by comitee cash cow gimmick than a legitimate piece of production software. Very standard controls locked behind pay walls. Prepackaged loops and sounds, tiny initial bank of options, micro transaction system central to actually achieving anything. No creativity, paint by numbers style approach aimed at lowest common denominator consumers. It's designed to drain you of coin and not much else , or the developers are very unaware of other options available to their target audience. There are much much better things available for free or better quality for the same price (Individually and cumulatively given the micro transaction method). As a seasoned producer/audiophile I recommend avoiding being snared Into this money trap app. Don't be fooled by the flash. Look elsewhere for your creative needs.

I am a bass player and I am always looking for apps that help me rehearse and record ideas. Stagelight is both easy to use and really powerful. The fact that Warren Hyatt, from Produce Like A Pro, did two cool demos with stagelight motivated me even more.

Very good app for making music / practicing. But if the UI can be more user friendly for small screen devices it will be better for making music with my phone, as I don't always have a tablet with me.

I received an email asking to review the application and in return I will get two sound patches unlocked. It's been a few days and I haven't heard anything from stagelight.

I been using different DAWS over 30 years I like this app very powerful for android. I just wish stagelight could bounce the the midi clips in loop mode to save cpu. Can that be the next update please?

Would be great if we could get Bluetooth midi support on this and the windows version as well.

It's OK, only used it for drums to use on another app. However an autistic kid I know had loads of fun playing with it and made some cool tracks

Nice DAW for getting creative and getting your ideas down fast. Drop recorded files into another DAW for best results.

Stagelight is quite an efficient songwriting tool once you get used to it. I love it, and plan to get a lot of use out of it.

I purchased the ultimate bundle on pc, but I am getting locked features on andriod.

Every track has a metronome that I can't figure out how to turn off, and the only way to level your sounds effectively is to pay between $10 and $40 for a bunch of glorified EQ sliders. When I finally said F*** IT, and bought two of the bundles, it refused my payment method. This app makes me consistently angry, with nothing to show for my time.

Good app!!! Just wanted to know whether i would need to buy loops after buying the ultimate bundle or will everything be included?

5 stars because i used it on a different phone, but im not sure the app is compatible with samsung galaxy grand prime because the app doesn't show anything

Great loops and everything, but it's hard to record and download the music to my device. If there is an easier way could you please tell me?

I like that I can sync my store with desktop and mobile version. I noticed that there's feedback once I start to use over three instruments to a track, but it could be my setup... It's there a way to sync tracks in progress also?

Why do I have to wait for more loading after I download the app?
