FireChat for Android
Can't log in. Can't create an account. Completely useless
It work sometimes but the issue is that I send a message without Wi-Fi or mobile service and it don't send without Wi-Fi
Drains battery. No way to change Username once committed. Customer Support doesn't reply to emails, non-existent.
Great chat app for short distances. Requires encryption, and better UI.
Cant sign up
cant sign up
I hate it
Notification ads
This app is like a virus, won't allow me to connect to Wi-Fi networks or Bluetooth speakers. Causes lag even with texting. I do not recommend this app to anyone.
An offline app that makes you sign in online... Ok. This is how this app would work: You start it up, you input your name, you see all the nearby Firechat users, you choose one, you chat, maybe send files/media. Done. No need for those horrible chat rooms, or signing in.
It seems ok but the app is flaky and unresponsive sometimes. Seems to work as described.
Great idea for emergency situations when communications fail
cant sign up…
It seems to be the best "offline" chat app, but it sure crashes often (at least on the Zenfone 2 and mi5)
It's got a fast send and receive messages so far that I see
good app
Nice app..... Its free easy plus u can text offline with your freinds five stars best messaging app EVER fo yes do install it one thing thouge u cant call plz make it so u can if u could rate **********10 then i would nice app thouge great job
Dsnt work on my oppo f1 plus x9009 5.1 version.. Pllzzz do solve this problem
First screen says "no internet required", yet it is obligatory to sign up with a reliable internet connection. It's not working in China for instance. Quite a misleading statement from the very beginning.
This is the worst communication app. It's fake. It does need Internet to sign up or sign in. And sometimes it even do not sign up. App sucks
It activates Bluetooth by itself, and I hate that very much
Nice thought. Would work amazing on disaster. App keeps crashing though
Mobile data or wifi required to send message fake app
For some reason i cant text photos i wonder why
The app works but unless I force stop the app it keeps turning off my Wi-Fi.
Require access to sms/contacts on startup. Really?
Never sent me the verification email after several attempts. Email triple checked and info was correct.
Good concept but it keeps turning off my hotspot.
Just for communication off networks, excelent
Very interesting
Very useful
I love this app. Very useful
It's a useful technology for what it is. I can imagine extremely useful scenarios, but which would demand a critical number of users. Useful for a strung-out group of hikers. Useful to whisper texts across tents or transportation - between cars is great. The very limited range is, ofc, an issue. It's got greater potential, but currently it's kind of like the walkie-talkie version of an on-phone flashlight: You have it in your pocket already, it works, but not as well as a specialised device. Glad it exists. *** Not glad enough to put up with "Sponsored Apps" - uninstalling. Make a paid version for us grownups - eh? Minus a star. Sorry.
Garbage app. Didn't check reviews before I downloaded. It puts advertisment push notifications on your phone. Worst idea ever. I don't want your garbage ads clogging up phone. Uninstalled instantly
Signed up provided my email address...still waiting for the pin number.. will be uninstalling tomorrow if I don't get the PIN.
It kills the battery very fast, not sure if it's all that good at power management...
Best way to communicate for festies! Nothin' beats it.
Too good for my phone samsung galaxy A7
Running a nexus 5X. I am unable to create an account as the page takes me nowhere on sign up. Time to test the app ;)

Interesting concept, but pushing notification ads is an absolute deal breaker. Also apparently Android does not support mesh networking well.
