About Sign Language Interpreter
Sign Language Interpreter will convert signs from ASL and ISL to appropriate text and audio. This is a research project, we are still in alpha stage. Instructions to use our app :
Open the app and press on any of the buttons ( eg. A Sign or B Sign ). Hold your phone with your left hand. Make a sign with your right hand as shown in the figure on the right top corner, having the white background facing the phone camera. Thats it, our app recognizes your hand and shows which sign you are making.

I downloaded this app and it had nothing. The app never opened. There was another app that opened. I am guessing I was suppose to download 2 apps. No thank you. I understand your in the alpha phase but come on. ....

When I opened the app, it immediately went to the video camera, with no explanation whatsoever about how to use it. I attempted to sign a few letters; it didn't respond at all. At the top of the screen there were buttons ("'a' sign," "'v' sign," "'w' sign," and a few others). I tried one. It changed to 3 other buttons: play, pause, and stop. I hit play and heard, "letter 'a' detected." And no explanation...
