Ooma

Only lets you log in with the primary number, so app is useless for managing a second line. Seems fine for one number, but it doesn't support my main purpose of having a second l number I can access on my mobile phone (I don't need it to manage both lines, though that would be amazing; I just expected to be able log in with my new number and password and dedicate the app to the second phone number). So disappointing.

New version of app is HORRIBLE on my L3 G3. Ooma tech support sent me a beta update, but it's still horrible. After waiting a month for some type of fix or improvement and getting nothing, I give up. Cancelling Ooma and moving on to another service.

I mainly use Ooma for conference calls while driving. Drops Bluetooth connections and does not reconnect. If you switch to headphones and get back in the car, does not reconnect to blue tooth. Call quality is ok, sometimes there is static and you have to disconnect and redial. Drops calls more often than when I'm calling through my mobile service. You have to punch numbers slowly, if you dial too fast, the wrong number is dialed.

I only want to be able to check my messages. It forces me to choose a calling mode (which I'll never use), and then I have to navigate to the messages to hear them. Why can't I just have the app open into messages? I don't want or need it to route calls.

Used the app for calls via WFI but receptions was bad, Ican hear but no one can hear me at all. I have two land devices, office and personal and have good experience. This is why I downloaded this application. Please take care of the app before offer it.

Contacts saved in the account should show up in the app. This way they're always accessible even if not stored on SIM. All in all, I wish I had switched to Ooma sooner... There's only one thing I'd like to see: more international mobile #s included in the international bundles. Or, an international MY FIVE bundle (5 most-called international #s including mobiles) for a competitive price. I still have to use a competitor's service to call mobile #s in Europe. Pls add this feature!

It is nice to be able to pick up calls and voicemail from my mobile device, but the app suffers a couple of shortcomings. I'll mention the minor one first: It occupies a slot on my notifications screen just to let me know it is online. Imagine if we had that with every app that receives push services. It's a frivolous use of the notification screen. Now for the major issue: Even on days where I receive no Ooma calls or voice mail messages, and in fact never open the app, it consumes 12-15% of my battery.

I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to answer incoming calls and finding the drop down box for second number. Hoping now I will be happier with the changes.

I love this app...Its simple and easy to use. I dont know why there is so much negative reviews! As long as you have good internet connection, everything works great!

Our Ooma is great. The app is not and has not been, despite being patient. Cannot fully adjust volume. At lowest is too loud. Logs are not what they should be. Even simple things such as coming back to same tab are not implemented. What is mobile anyway for logs and why is it default? No caller ID. Poor access to account/features. Not able to copy a number displayed to allow easy search. Put some effort into this guys! Such a simple app there is no excuse for all these "undersights".

How is it that other apps can get voice calling right, but not Ooma? Call quality, volume levels, connection, or basically ALL ASPECT of making calls is subpar. Will update rating when it's fixed. IF they fix it.

In approximately 30 attempts I got thru once...unnaceptable....on a short trip to PA, MA and DC...got thru the first time and never again....strong wifi connections so there's no excuse. Always got message"Cannot connect to server,..try later"....unacceptable... ...Ok..now back home in Canada it works again on my wifi...called support and was told app does not work on public wifi servers ...hmmm...I actually went back to where it worked the only time in PA and did not work this time. Sad....

What happened? Everything was fine during the free trial. Now that I'm paying. It keeps on crushing. Please fix...I need this app.

Call quality is poor (people think I'm calling from a 32ko Japan dial-up), not syncing correctly(can't see call history), no features like text messages or being able to receive calls more than 1/2.

Inbound calls only ring on one device. Have been working with the Support team since FEBRUARY (it is now MAY 13) on an issue with the Ooma app on my devices not ringing on an inbound call. Repeatedly told them I had this installed on a number of devices. They finally were able to give me direction to enable the Inbound calling - a very simple change: remove the integration with the NEST Away setting. Once I did that and a call came through to my Ooma number, ONE of my devices rang - but only one. This really is unacceptable for a number of reasons: 1) Why did it take so long for them to tell me this 2) Impractical for a family household - we have multiple family members who need to be able to answer incoming calls on their own phones/tablets 3) I got Ooma specifically for the purpose of getting rid of landline phones throughout the house - so now I have to spend more $$$ to get phones for our rooms. Very disappointed.

Ordered product through phone. Decided it wasn't for me an canceled within the hour. Received a tracking number the next day after cancellation, but wasn't shipped yet. Called Ooma to provide tracking info and reverse shipping. So far they have done nothing to cancel my purchase. I was charged 24 hours after cancellation and now I have to wait for UPS to refuse the package and pray for follow through to refund my already canceled purchase. No customer support is apparent already. Why consider them again?!

The dialer is completely non-functional on my Galaxy Note 5.

The app is horrible and kills your battery like it's nothing. With no way to turn it off while it's on your phone. They sold my number and info off, getting harassing calls in under 10 hours of signing up from companys asking for me by name. They won't let me cancel or delete my account. They say it's $40 now if I want to remove my name. And they won't let me remove my credit card so that the "free" service that they won't let me cancel can still be charge at just under $7 a month. Go with MagicJack

Features kind of bare bone. Please get rid of the persistent notification, or give us an option to disable it without using Android features.

Buggy app which keep crashing. I came looking for a new version but apparently they stopped supporting it.

So I enabled the free trial for Ooma Premier. ... and inbound calling still doesn't work. "Ooma app is online" ... but won't ring.

Used to work fine. Voicemail is unplayable now.

Really great to have access to home calls and messages. Smooth!

This helps on saving minutes and the calls are crystal clear. Only wish the app worked with texting.

Stil no improvement after more than five months. All I wanted to do was use this app to check my voice mails. But upon using it for the first time, you are forced to choose between using it for inbound, outbound or both directions. There is no option to use neither. So it will take over your phone calls. And now it continues to put alerts in my notification bar for everything, including old voicemail that I've already checked, but want to save. And no, I can't turn that off either! Annoying.

There's just something about this new UI that I can't get into. Looking to find an older apk of it, must have one somewhere.

Thanks for the upgrade, best deal around. I have never been sorry for purchasing Ooma.

The app has become tremendously dysfunctional for my needs.

The online dashboard says that I can upload my contacts to my telo system and handsets.. But I don't see any options to import anything. Help?

Excellent app. I use this app while I travel on business to avoid long distance and roaming charges.

I have been a Ooma customer for 3 years now and find no fault with the service. The mobile app is fantastic.

Latest update fixes all bugs. Recommend now.

Connection is good on my Asus Zenfone2 mobile. It also gives me a landline connection.

I wanted to use ooma on my cell phone, but the volume is way too low.

Have to restart it very frequently

This drains battery plus gives me a callong app I don't need. I just the old version so I can just check messages.
