Onyx Dice for Android
A few things keep it from being perfect. A button to clear the table, for instance, could be useful. And it'd be really great if there was a preview of the "fancy" dice. I was rather underwhelmed by the faux light effects on the Solar dice, but am not sure I'm $3 curious to see if any of the others are better. The $1 for something other than black or white dice is perfect, though.
Nice App, works smoothly. I would make two upgrades. One, tablet version. Two, the ability to choose to subtract 1s before or after the reroll.
Finally. Perfect dice roller for all World of Darkness and Chronicles of Darkness system. Thank you guys very much.
Requiem table please?
Useful for any Onyx Path game
Starting screen before corp logos showing still has some graphic glitch. Problem with black dices has been fixed. I am satisfied with app now but I still have feeling that dice are rolling unnaturally in comparison to Fantasy Flight Star Wars Dice App, also that app features automatic dice rotation for better view of numbers so I would like to see the same feature here.
Great app. Would be great if you could enable tablet mode. Many of us will use it on Chromebooks now that they have Android app support so would also be nice with updates to enable resizable windows in tablet mode.
Needs a slider on the main page to allow difficulty adjustment for cwod/20th games. Would be nice to see the base system dice free with a charge only for the sfx versions...or at least a preview of the custom dice. Also needs a way to roll/swap some dice to a second die color for shadow dice, nightmare dice, etc. Also, it will let you get 0 successes with 1s subtract, but it doesn't read a botch as anything less than zero successes. Please adjust so negative successes equates to a reading of botch.
Quick and easy. A good app for its intended purpose. Request: cap the number of dice that get drawn. Some systems have an unbounded number of dice that can be result from a roll (you roll a ten, another ten, etc.). Also, Scion has dice pools in the hundreds.
Perfect function, good configuration and controls. It could be a smidge more user friendly, but that's my only complaint. cWoD and (sometimes) Exalted benefit greatly from a difficulty slider, so that'll be a plus.
This app is great minus a couple of issues with my tablet. I don't have a smartphone so I run this on my old 10.1 inch Asus Android 4.2.1 tablet. Before you ask, I can't update the OS because it was one that came out before free updates started. In the app I cannot see the numbers on the dice, which appear as black blocky shapes to me. Also the text is fuzzy. Thankfully the fuzzy dice numbers appear at the top right of my screen and I'm able to figure them out.
Great to have a dedicated WW/OP die roller. Still a couple of glitches, like not counting rerolled 10s towards overall successes, and gutted it doesn't include Mega Dice for Abberant 1st e. Edit: thanks for the reply. Will you be adding Aberrant Mega Dice? For that one game? No? Oh well
Works great for the World of Darkness games. I think the dice start the wrong color¿ They start black, but the store shows them white. Fixes it self as soon as you do anything.
Good overall app. Design and UI seem intuitive enough so far! Minor memory handling bugs cause certain setting tweaks to break small things (de/re-toggle exploding 10s causes subsequent 10s to not count toward success total until app is restarted), etc. Things will definitely iron out over time.
I like the concept, but when I select CoD with '1 subtracts' set to no, if the result is no successes, it still botches the 1s. It does not subtract them if there are any successes though.
Options for auto accounting for subtracting 1s, double success on 10s, and exploding dice for specialties, makes this perfect for any storyteller system. Also an option to shake to reroll. In app purchases are skins for dice and background. I can see myself using this a lot.
Is not very intuitive, and doesn't support core game rolls such as rote actions. Smooth, but needs much work.
Been needing this app for years! Great interface, only one improvement I'd love: ability to change the target difficulty directly on the dice rolling page rather than having to navigate to another page to set a new DC. Not a huge deal but a good UX quality of life change that shouldn't be too hard.
App is not allowing me to choose between the various rule sets, but I am sure it will be updated or patched in the near future. All in all, a great app for folks who enjoy games based on the D10 system.
Rather liked the app and I'm not a fan of dice rolling apps. Works well enough for Exalted that I'm happy. Do like that you can purchase custom dice and tables. Glad to not see any ads.
Good interface, but I set it to not subtract 1s, but it still gave me negative scores when there was a 1 but no successes.
The app so far is pretty good but I really wish it had a landscape mode. Tablets could see a lot of help from that.
App is missing needed usability for the visually impaired and does not make it easy to change difficulty for CWoD dice rolls. Would also like a feature to announce results via the speaker. Surprised that a free add-on from the W20 Kickstarter would be missing the Moon Die.
Would like to be able to see previews of the other dice before I buy them. Audio would also be nice.
Solid app, hilarious to see 400 dice explode on screen.
Awesome companion to WWG
Uninstalled because of micro-transactions for dice and graphics. Sad to see one of my favorite gaming companies taking up this terrible trend in the market. I bought a dice app from another major games publisher years ago that both looks better and has more features, all included in a single price that lower than what it would cost to buy all of the dice and backgrounds in this app.

There are plenty of great dice rollers on the market. This is one of them. It would get 5 stars if it had an option for simulated roll noise. Even if it isn't mapped to the visual motion of the dice, but simple canned dice spill would be better than silence. (But definitely better as an option, because sometimes you don't want your players hearing the dice rolling...)
