Sign up feature is broken. Also why do we need to confirm our email addresses in 2016.
Used to be fine, but in the last week it's been making my phone Z2 hot and running down the battery. OS is ver 6. Unistalled /reinstalled, same thing.
Tried to connect main Lloyds current account with all correct info and no accounts found. Rubbish.
Doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S7. Can see all my account data when logged on via the desktop version (i.e. on a laptop using a full browser) but the Android mobile app remains empty showing no data. Useless in this state on Android.
I use the online website version fine but this app won't work. It goes on but won't show my accounts or add any or anything. Why? I would really like to use it! !!
It was great when it worked. It's stopped working accessing my accounts. The only help is being informed that they've stopped development. Useless now.
Have set up account online but can't connect to it through the app. Does not work. Can't even add new accounts via app either. Website looks good though. Please fix the app
App crashes constantly. Bank account remains at "pending" and never actually confirms. Great idea but without the support its useless.
Tried Santander, Lloyd's and MBNA - enter the details and nothing. Just goes back to the same screen every time. Waste of effort. Going to look for an alternative.
Shows me everything I need on normal "desktop" version but app doesnt work
This app is great to link all accounts to see what you're spending, how much, and at what time. I would like to be able to add notes to the transactions and/or the ability to link receipts to shopping etc. Also should factor in cash spending as well.
I loved this app but since September it seems to have stopped syncing with the website (which still works). Please fix if you can! Thanks :-)
Doesn't work, works fine on the browser but this app waste of time
I saw this app in Womans Own and thought it would be ideal for me. It said you couldn't move money around and could only view your accounts. I don't bank online by choice and I thought I would be able to view my balances and transactions. I signed up and it was only when I attemped to link an account I was made aware that you needed existing online login details. An email then arrived asking me to verify my details. I abandoned ship immediately.
Hasn't been updated in over a year, there's little development support to speak of, and I've been completely unable to link my account to the mobile app. It just won't sync. OnTrees is a really useful desktop app and the functionality is great, but it doesn't currently work on Android at all.
I love the OnTress desktop version and have all my bank accounts connected and it's great (but scary) to see what I have been spending money on. Unfortunately when trying to connect to my account through this app I am not able to see anything and it looks like I haven't connected my bank accounts. Really frustrating as it would be great to have access to it on the go not just through laptop.
Really nice app, allowing you to see where your money is going. However, it is very buggy. When adding a new account it sometimes adds it, sometimes doesn't. And sometimes when you try to refresh your balance it just doesn't. It's been useless all day today, as a result of these bugs.
I like the app and the web interface but there are some major bugs in both and the support team is not willing to provide any update on when these are planned to be fixed. I would be happy to pay for this service but only if I had assurance that bugs will be resolved quickly.
(Thank god someone has taken up the mantel after BillGuard quit the UK.) In terms of features it's great for keeping track of multiple accounts. It's been designed nicely enough. But performance and bugs let it down hugely. Please, please update. Once that core stuff is taken care of it would be great to be able to create own categories. For example, right now the wine glass icon of the 'Restaurant/Pub...' category is the only thing you have to assign to lunch at work - I've had to use 'Other Expenses'.
Really liked this app for the first few days it worked. But then it didn't work so I sent an email to the support team and they helped. Then they couldn't fix it, and just stopped trying. So it would be a great, five star app but it doesn't work and the support team are not responding. So it gets two stars for potential and loses three for disappointment.
I used to use this app with great success. It seems to have gone downhill on android in the past year or so. It won't connect to my bank account and keeps on randomly crashing. Totally useless.
A really really helpful app, like nothing else in the market! Well done! I had almost given up with it because when I tried to add my AMEX it kept returning to the homepage without doing anything, I assumed it didn't work... Only to open it at a later date and see all my transactions! There should be a holiday category, the closest I can see is travel. Also hopefully you collect what I categorise so others are automatic. Finally I was very apprehensive to give it my bank details, perhaps ameliorate somehow
Tried linking accounts through the app with no success. Proceeded to do this via the desktop app, however, my linked accounts do not sync with the mobile app. Useless. Worked flawlessly with money dashboard app which I'd definitely recommend over this.
Really disappointed in this app. Very poor response from app, and support from developer weak. My confidence in the app, bearing in mind in has access to my bank accounts, is reduced.
Absolute joke of an app. It doesn't sync with my account after login, and manually adding banks doesn't work. With software quality this low why the hell should we trust you with our ONLINE BANKING DETAILS
Sadly not been able to sign in for weeks now. A year since the last update, I fear this app may have been abandoned...
Add account, no account shows up. Login on the website, account is there. Ask for support, get sent standard vague response. Uninstall app.
why is it nowhere near as useful as the iOS app? can't recategorise transactions, no budget section, no custom date range. when I had an iPhone this was great, on Android it's pointless
*Update: my accounts wouldnt refresh for weeks on end. Never quite found the budgeting module. Auto categorisation is abs brilliant. Being able to track everything in the same place is
I can't seem to change some stuff so it logs my finances wrong ie I prepay my gas/electric but if I pay on my card at my local garage, it shows up as petrol. Also shows my car insurance as a loan
Love this app! Does exactly what it says on the tin. Love being able to keep an eye on all of my accounts at once. I can honestly say I have been more active in managing my spending since downloading this app. It's very clear, easy to use and user friendly! Great idea. Great app!
For some reason all the data is a couple of days behind. When I log onto online banking I can see lots of new transactions that this app can't see even though I've refreshed it. Makes it pretty useless for planning and budgeting. It's a shame that it can't recognise transfers between accounts too.
2 stars because iphone users have the full version of this tool. Seems like android users are in the beta stage
Wow thanks one tree, I've been more aware and organise since getting this app. Great idea...
The app is fine, but at the moment is lacks the budgeting feature which made me switch to OnTrees in the first place.
This app has been really great, and allowed me to visualise where my money is going and where I can make savings. A suggestion I would make, although I don't know if possible, is to have a function that prevents transfers between accounts being counted as income twice, it gets confusing! Also at the moment it seems unable to refresh my accounts, telling me that my cards are locked and then another note saying 'oops, it's not you, it's us'. Is this going to be corrected any time soon?
"Does not work on rooted devices" means that they don't trust you or your phone, and use DRM to prevent you from monitoring their app. So their app should not be trusted in return.
Very useful tool as it aggregates income and expenditure quite nicely! A must have!
This is great. But I'm not rooted. I'm using a Oneplus One that uses a modded version of Cyangen OS that doesn't have root. Please fix your false detection.

Far too basic to be of any use to even a person with modest finances. All it does is list your transactions in categories. You can't add your own categories or add notes to a transaction. Mostly useless when a bank's own app can do this.
