Scriptura - Bible App

This is the best bible app out there! It has a beautiful material design and incredibly smooth interface; it even has no distracting ads! I was looking for a bible app that would let me highlight, take notes, and share verses within the app itself. You can even change the theme color and switch between Day/Night mode for reading. Absolutely amazing job to the developers!

Almost perfect. Super simple and aestheticly pleasing. Opening the app takes you directly into the text, without having to go through other screens. My only gripe is in the number of translations. No NIV, ESV, or CSB. Any hope of seeing more translations in the future?

The app used to be exactly what I was looking for, a smooth, Material Design Bible. Now, useless features are adding clutter, and the app's best feature, it's aesthetics, are being ruined. The nav bar goes over the content not to the side; why ruin what was already good? Why add these ugly gradients when it was fine before? All they needed was to add more translations, and instead they're slowly making this more like the terrible YouVersion app that I've been trying to avoid.

This is the Bible app you've been looking for. Simple, sleek and a joy to read. Includes the poetic King James and more contemporary WEB translations which complement each other perfectly. Yes it may be missing the more mainstream NIV and ESV ones but it's good for the soul to encounter the Lord's word in all its many forms. Thank you and be blessed.

The previous design fit better with the material design feel of android. For example, the sidebar needs to pull out over the top of the content instead of sliding the content to the side.

Has exactly what I want in a Bible app. Clean design with no unnecessary additions. Limited in the number of translations, but I can't fault the developers in that regard.

This app is very special if your very close to god it's well organized and very beautiful, I think this app needs more attention! :)

I love everything about this app. Wish we'd have the more popular Bible translations though. Brilliant nonetheless!

First of all, great update! This app is very aesthetic and easy to use. I especially like the themes that were introduced and I'm also liking the level of polish that the dev's have added to everything. It's so nice to have a feature rich - yet minimalistic Bible app for Android. One issue for Nougat would be that the launcher shortcuts are poorly implemented.

Was looking for a newly designed Bible app and this one is doing it amazingly. It reminds me of NeuBible for iOS which is also having standout design.

This app is so simple to navigate and easy to use. And to top it off, it's so beautiful. I remember seeing it when it came out through the publisher's post on Reddit. Got it instantly and haven't regretted it once. Installed it on my mum's phone cause it's easy to use. Enjoying it so far. God bless you.

Wish it had a few more features but it's pretty amazing as is. Note: found this app via Reddit. I can't find at all in the Play store when searching "bible". Needs a higher ranking!

Clean and simple app, not cluttered like some others. I have discovered a bizarre bug: if I let the screen lock, unlocking my phone switches chapters (but only in Genesis for some reason). Gen 13 switches to Gen 14 or 15.

Wonderfully designed, especially compared to many other Bible apps I've used. I'd be really happy to see a Portuguese translation to it :)

This is one well designed app. Very easy on the eyes and just clean. I've nothing else to say!

Loved the app from the off. Slick design, fluid transitions all lead to a thoroughly enjoyable and user-friendly experience. It is clear to see that the designers passion for Christ translates directly to their passion in producing such a wonderful app. Would highly recommend

Love the app, smooth and beautiful but it needs more translations. I'd really like to see ESV and MSG translations.

Love the look of this app but I'd like to see more versions (mainly ESV and NIV) added. Also, there seems to be a bit of lag when switching from old to new testament (watch the tab indicator)

It's now even better with multiple Bible versions. It's easier to follow along in service with the King James version, while I can study at home with the NIV

Great design, responsive devs. Asked about adding the ESV, devs mentioned they need 5k downloads due to licensing... So help them out!

Waiting on niv, and also having a few weird issues when rotating it flashes white and takes me to John 17 like, every time. Other than that loving it!

This app is the most beautiful Bible application on the play store. It is well worth the money, and I'd like to thank the devs for putting some TLC into this app. That being said, there is a lot that can still be done to make this app better. I would recommend a new and faster book navigation UI, as the current one is only accessible from the hamburger menu. The search functionality is great, but it would be nice if the keyboard would dismiss when the user starts scrolling through the search results.

Great design. Very fluid app. Was hesitant at first because of lack of translations but the WEB is actually very good (especially if you're used to NASB) and it being public domain is nice.
