Weather Forecast: UK

Like many others, I have tried several apps for UK weather, and gradually narrowed them down to this. It provides all the information I want, with the trustworthiness of UK Met Office data and is well -presented. Running my own weather station, I may be a bit of a geek, but the depth of information available through this app is its great strength, and the reason I have this app on all my devices. In my opinion, the only app that come close to it is 'Weather and Radar' by WetterOnline, which is also very well designed. I strongly recommend Weather Forecast UK.

My favourite weather app by far, and very accurate. However, I just got an Xperia tablet and have found the widget doesn't update properly. I've never had this problem on any of my phones. Such a shame.

It's an understatement saying this app is perfectly satisfying for weather data. Doesn't hide from giving proper data, presenting it simply but effectively. Definitely worth the few pound to get the full version. Thank you for making this app. I just hope other apps present global weather data as good as this.

There are a number of display issues crippling this app on the Galaxy S7 (latest stock ROM, none-rooted). On the maps the times don't display fully, making it difficult to determine the increments of an hour. On the charts the text on the axis of the graphs is so small it's impossible to read. I contacted the developer, and after he tried a few things he decided the device was the problem. For such a popular device I find this unacceptable, especially for a paid app.

Widget fixed now i can see a forcast without having to update my location manually. Problem was developer couldn't test on a similar device Note 4. Fixed now. Happy.

With the BBC going over to an American forecaster, I was keen to find an app that used Met Office data. Reviews of the Met Office's own app were disappointing so I wanted an ad-free alternative. This seems ideal.

I don't rate apps very often but... This app is perfect. I have tried so many weather apps in the past and at last I can stop looking. Thanks!

Brilliant. Accurate - sitting outside pub in brilliant sunsine, ap showed raincloud. Five minutes later it rained we were soaked. Pressure charts useful. Multiple locations indispensable.

Can't see the whole time of day at the bottom right of the map display on my Xperia Z3. Lacks map animations. Otherwise a cracking job.

The free version is good but I ended up paying for the the full version so I could use the maps and other features. Overall very happy with the application.

Whether you get the free version or pay for the full version, this weather app is the best one i have tried by far. Really easy to use and viually simple but informative displays. Lots of great features and settings that help to get the info that you want. I would recommend this app.

Pretty accurate & informative hourly breakdown of the next 5 days sun, wind & rain forest. Well laid out and easy to use. Best UK weather app I've come across.

I like this app would be good to see a map for wind direction. And not sure if i like the temp map. But otherwise its good

Great weather app, easy to read interface. Good to get the extra functionality with the paid version, but I think an app of this quality is worth paying for anyway.

Seems pretty darned accurate to me! Working outside with short time windows- this app has made things sooo much easier for me. Very glad I purchased

Since I have bought a Sony Experia E5 i have put the widget on my home screen and it can't seem to find my location and never updates even if I force it. The forecast is always spot on though can't fault it.

A nice, clear weather forecast using Met Office data. The layout is easy to read, and the uncluttered format loads quickly and is easy to read, unlike the Met Office or BBC apps.

Detailed reliable weather app let down with poor and ugly widgets. Badly needs updating.

Best weather app for the UK by miles. Clean and straightforward. Makes the Met Office app look sad. :-) good work Dev. Worth every penny.

Love that all this info comes from the Met Office! But is packaged in a fantastic app that allows me to get at things easily. Rainfall radar, pressure charts.. Amazing!

I downloaded 6 different apps and regularly compared the results. This app was usually the one that best reflected the actual weather and it's easy to check UV levels and % chance of rain.

Excellent app. Have been using paid version for years for mountain forecasts. Much better than cluttered Met Office app.

The one thing I don't like is that it gives weather warnings for areas I don't live in.

Without a doubt the best UK weather app - beats the Met Office, BBC or any other hands down in presentation of data, layout and accuracy! I paid for this app because we need to support devs like this!

Simple, complete, and above all speedy! Far superior to the official Met Office app, which runs like molasses in January. I bought the ad-free version to say thanks.

Comprehensive​ information, from at a glance to detailed maps and charts. I'm particularly pleased that I can get forecasts for the tops of numerous Scottish mountains.

Tells me all I need to know. Best weather app I've tried.

Forecast not very accurate.Says light rain but no signs of rain.Hang in longer and then decide if to keep.

Best general weather app for use either in a general setting or for a specific activity where the weather is important, like sailing ( as I do). Good response to any questions too.

I have used many weather forecast apps over the years but this one is by far the best. It gives more information than most & is more accurate. Well done!

Pleased to use an app that uses the met office data. The app seems very accurate and gives you all the information you could ever need about the upcoming weather.

I like the widget, and the app hourly display options. The maps are great. I have also compared to other apps and this is the most accurate for me.

4hr widgets default to london not my location. Will rate when its fixed. Waiting for 3wks for a fix not a word. . P. s. I did email you. And i have re installed the app again, no change.
