About OneView Calendar

A clear and zoomable calendar app for everybody!

OneView Calendar is a new innovative calendar app.
You can use it alongside or instead of your standard calendar.
OneView Calendar doesn't have a day view, week view, month view, year view or
an agenda view instead it replaces all of these views
with one single view giving you a perfect overview and total control.

Features:
• Zooming with your fingers to see anything from decades to minutes.
• Scroll quickly by swiping up and down on the screen.
• Advanced mathamatics positions your events perfectly so that everthing looks clear whatever period of time you are looking at.
• Add events by dragging and dropping directly on the calendar.
• Simultaneously show or switch between multiple calendars, private or shared. Makes it a perfect calendar for couples and families.
• A web version exists enabling you to quickly access your calendar from any device.

OneView Calendar shows you your meetings and events on, what we call, a proportional timeline.
A timeline is the clearest and most natural way of showing events in time. We've seen it in ancient history books as well as on Facebook and it's a great way to get a good overview. Most calendars use month views, week views and day views, which show time as a grids and pages and not as a timeline. The agenda view, on the other hand, is a timeline. All of the days and their events line up one after the other. The agenda view may be a timeline, but it isn't proportional since some days might be missing and some days might be much bigger than others. OneView calendar is a proportional timeline in the sense that every day is there and every day is the same size and a week seven times bigger than a day and so on. This is important because it helps you get a proper feel for the things you have planned ahead and how much space there is between each planned event. To make things even better OneView Calendar is an infinetly zoomable and proportional timeline. Enabling you to quickly look at 2 weeks, 3 months, the summer holiday or even years at once.

All of this adds up to give you a superior calendar overview giving you anything from a 10 year calendar view to a 8, 4 or 2 hour calendar view or what ever period of time you like.
This might all sound crazy, but it's so simple and natural that it will make you wonder why all calendars don't work like this. Give it a try.

I stumbled across this app simply by browsing the app store. I was hesitant at first, just another calendar app, but once open I was instantly hooked. This is a must have app if you use your calendar for appointments regularly. Prior to using this app I would never put in to my diary events that spanned more than a day but this app changes this. It really is good. You can zoom right in to see day names, zooming in further shows all the times of a day. Fantastic app. Well done developer.

I like the app Peter, now that you made my calendar better. Please take it another step and let me import the pdf of my work schedule my boss sends to me in a email every month, and digitally add the information. Then he can use his ancient calendar and I can seamlessly integrate my life with out having to tediously and meticulously enter my schedule into a calendar. Then and only then will I rest easy.

Pros: Interesting prospective on viewing a calendar. Very creative. Cons: Couldn't add any extra calendars. Lost appointments. Couldn't sync with Google calendar. Suggestion: Fix these problems. Allow appointments to be linked to multiple calendars. Overall: Uninstalled

Very clean, simple and fast app. That presents calendar data in an incredibly intuitive but underutilised UI. In app purchases are purely cosmetic

App tried to open, but crashed. Never could get it to open. No problems opening and running other apps.

A bit glitchy... But still worth 5 stars... Very intuitive to use.. Needs more options

I really like this app but a Oneview-widget whould be a dream even if it's static.

S70%
by S####:

Really well built. Change of themes is clunky but the design and flow are good. It is a nice concept

It's really very innovative and usable. Currently using it as my main calendar. Just a built in reminder functionality would be great. Currently it's possible to set reminders but they are channeled through Google calendar.

What a great app. 5 stars, no worries about that. No widget though. Just a little glitchy, but just great. Thanks.

Took me just a minute to see how it works......then you see the beautiful functionality of something you've never seen before.....astounding !!!

Is a great idea, but I planned my day last night, but today many of my activities were desapeared and the color of the rest has change

1- Support same color used in Google event calendar. 2- Support Hijri Calendar like Google Calendar does.

Still calendar take holidays, contacts etc from all your accounts. Switch to one account, next day again all

U70%

Good calendar but I won't use it because of there is no way to add an offline calendar and run the app offline without the need to connect to Google Calendar for example

Innovative, efficient, useful. It'd be much better with lower energy consumption & faster start-up.

Very good calendar app. Brilliant concept, cool design, everything works as it should.

S70%

Really good app. I like the tap on the day to open up the daily view, and also the touch and drag to widen a view. I find it a lot easier than the stock calendar to add events, the floating bubble is brilliant, in fact OneView has replaced my stock calendar as my primary calendar. I don't mind paying a dollar for custom colors, but I won't pay until the app is stable after the last update; crashed a couple of times, and lags when scrolling.

Lovely and useful. Everything works smoothly so far. It fits my way of thinking and working very pleasantly. I have 2 complaints: it should be more expensive (it's worth it) and people posting stupid reviews should be charged 100$ at least (would they not pay more for a shrink to listen to his rants and rage?) Peter: congrats, thank-you and keep the good work!

I love the concept, very creative app. Added option to customize colors is great but Would like to be able to have it as a widget.

It's amazing! Very intuitive and a great innovation. But it's a bit premature. You need to add more features. First of all, you need to make it possible to choose the calender colors, and to make an intuitive and simple way to navigate, like make it one tap to zoom in to the next step, and double tap to zoom out. Then you can start working on more features, like adding a contact, navigation to the mitting place, and dragging the mitting to a different date. Then I'd buy that app! Well done.

This is an absolutely amazing calendar app that really fits my needs and works perfectly. The only thing that's bugging me is the fact that the app doesn't show up as an option when opening tasks or events from a different application, so I only get the default Google calendar and business calendar as suggested apps to open my tasks. Probably an easy thing to fix and other than that perfect!

This app, despite its relative lack of functionality, is my new go-to calendar tool. It offers unsurpassed navigability due to the users ability to zoom in or out of day, week, month or year views with a pinch of the fingers. This allows you to tapidly access events many years in the future or the past. Ingenious idea!

P70%

This really gives a much better overview if complex calendars than the standard Google app. It's a very innovative idea and well executed. My only gripe is that it doesn't show the Google color codes, which are important for me.

S70%
by S####:

It's nice, simple and unique. The only problem I have with it is week no. It's not correct. We don't have week zero here in Sweden and that makes the app 1 week late according to real week no. It would be better if it has more color options or dark theme. Thanks

So easy to figure out, fast to set things up. One thing I can't find, how to invite another person. For this I will still have to go back to my regular calender, so almost defeats the purpose at this point. Going it gets added soon!

The single view is surprisingly flexible and works better than you'd expect and so the whole thing has a light and nimble feel. For me there are two things that stop me using it as my main calendar app: it doesn't (yet?) have functionality to look up locations or add contacts. For this reason I give it a four. It would be nice to have theme options too but that's less important as the existing theme is very clean and accessible and make it enjoyable to use.

T70%

Almost all of my calendar colors are off. Most are duller, than the original, and several are simply gray, rather than the color they appear in all other apps. Thoughts? UPDATE: Just realized...colors aren't just off a little. They are completely wrong. One of mine that should be red is blue, a green one is yellow, and calendars I've subscribed to on Google are all grey, regardless of what their default calendar is. Love the concept, and would use this always, but color coding is an important feature.

It is amazing how a simple insight can transform a traditional app. This approach just makes sense. One thing that seems to be missing is that it is not picking up my Google calendar reminders. Also just noticed that I do not appear to be able to invite others to meetings. Obviously this is still a work in progress.

Needs a widget otherwise its kinda useless if I need to open the app to see what's on my calendar. One other feature is the reminder that the Google calendar has which I found useful and needs to be on this. Still installed but until the features are added I cannot use it as my main app.

App crashes in landscape mode when switching an event (with reminders) from one calendar to another. // Colors of different Calendars can't be changed spacing of Events could be improved. Bar gets bigger but still no line wrapping line wrapping in general is missing / rendering speed is slow
