My Budget Book helps you manage your money more effectively through easy recording of your income and expenses.
Using the individual or recurring transaction features, you’re able to track and forecast your balances. You can also visualize your records with dynamic charts and graphs.
Budget mode allows you to set limits or goals, over custom periods of time. Buying too much clothing? Set a monthly cap. Spending too much on coffee-to-go? Set a weekly limit. Saving for a dream vacation? Set a savings target for every two weeks. Define limits for credit card accounts or other payment types. You can even toggle “rollover” for your budgets – account for every bit owed or saved!

I purchased this app some time ago and at the time, I had some issues with the ui. It wasn't that pretty. After a few days, that didn't matter because it contains everything you want in an expense/budget tracking app. The dev takes everything into account, including security. The update made everything cleaner and more user friendly with regards to the ui so I'm loving it even more. It won me over and is by far one of the better apps out there.

One of the best app to keep track of spending. Feel safe to use it because it does not connect to internet. No cloud saving but I think it is safer this way. The interface is getting better and we can select views to suit our needs. Based on spending, remaining credit in bank, etc... Totally the best app for its purpose. Worth the price.

It's one of the best finance apps. On the Statistics menu, if you could include an option to group by Payee (there's only 3 at the moment => Categories, Payment types, Accounts) so that we track spending by payee.

Saving me lots of time and energy. I would like to request a feature though: Be able to select a specific/custom currency for each individual account, also to set an exchange rate between different currency accounts. Example, if I am transferring money from accountA currencyX to accountB currencyY then I should be able to input the exchange rate for each specific transfer. Thank you and fantastic work keeping the application updated and stable.

10/26/17 Just an update I had an issue exporting backups and contacted the developer who quickly corrected the issue. Super! This is an excellent app for tracking your finances. There are many features and options including a very good auto populate feature. I had some issues importing my previous files from AnMoney and the developer diligently worked to find a resolution for me which he did. I highly recommend this app. Top Notch!

While program allows for transfers between accounts, it doesn't appear to allow you to do so for budget catagories. Otherwise, program is great! Please fix!

I had installed, tried, & subsequently uninstalled 5 other highly- rated apps before i got to this one. My Budget Book makes it possible to sort/ view/ plan/ manage your finances in pretty much any way you'd want. There are of course apps which make an automatic real-time feed from various accounts possible, across all your devices, which this one does not have. What you get in return is the knowledge that some developer you don't know is not looking at (and selling) your financial data. So yes, there's some compromise in terms of ease, but the workaround for this is easy enough, and it takes me less than 2 minutes to get the same version of my finances on both my phone and tablet. The app allows you to manipulate, search, plan in most/all ways you'd want to... and the developer is very responsive to any queries/ enhancement ideas you might have. I'm no financial dummy, but was too disorganised, and too overwhelmed at the prospect of getting organised. I could see immediately that this would help and it has done. Now I am organised, I can also appreciate the flexibility it gives for those people who were already organised, and who just want a straightforward, flexible means of staying on top of things - in a way that (unlike spreadsheets) is easy to view on a phone or small tablet.

Sin duda la mejor, inicié con El Bloc de notas de Google, luego en Docs, después PocketMoney en iOS, luego MoneyWiz en iOS, volví a usar PocketMoney en Android. Está tiene todo lo que esperaba en una sola app, sin buscarle, dice cuánto gastas y recibes en varias gráficas, por mes y día del año. Gracias!

Totally awesome! Supports both my banks — one was added by my request, no free alternatives could do it. Allows one to input tons of useful information — not just category, but person, account, payment type etc. and view it on charts. Contains many useful features that simplify data input (e.g. filtering by import operation, viewing uncategorized transactions). Completely solid on top of this and keeps adding new features. Can recommend without reservation.

I like the app and it has great potential. One thing that I feel would make a very useful feature would be to display the forecasted balance at closing on each day. All I can seem to find is the current balance and the forecasted balance for the end of the month.
