8bit Painter - Pixel Art Editor

Its cool fun and a grate art app. A must have for so mean reasons. Like making minecraft blueprints with it. Eack square is on block kind of thing yep dont think i needed to point that out lol. Grate to make comics(add words in ur phones edit pic settings). Fun way of make cool little video game character looking things. And so on. Get app fun for all ages.

I really enjoy this and I made several versions of a pixel avatar for my youtube... I enjoy making things on this and it's easy and works when you don't have WiFi... There's more I could say but here's a long story short... I would give this a 5 star if it weren't for 1 thing... When I zoom in I find it difficult to move around the page... eg I could want 4 squares in a shot to draw on (large squares) and have it be so difficult to only see those so it is off by over half of what I'm looking for... idk if that makes sense but what I mean is I wish I could just have a button to move the Screen without drawing...

Really great pixel art app, I love it but, there's just a few things that would take this to whole new level. (BTW I don't know if you haven't done this or can't because of limitations phones have or not, I just know it would make this a 5 star app!) The first is the zoom control s everyone's talking about. Second is layers, that would be AWESOME. And last (this one is a little overkill because it would be competing with the stuff you do on the computer and I'd give five stars without it but still...) If you could select specific pixels to move around. We'll, those are the things I think is all this app is missing other than that GREAT JOB GUYS!

It's pretty hard to move or zoom the image, it often paints some pixels instead. Also, there's no way to manually input a hex value, it would be pretty useful since I wouldn't have to recolour my textures later on a computer with the certain hues that I want. Other than that, it's pretty nice, it feels smooth and has a clean UI.

I've only had the app for two days and it has already captivated me. The UI is simple and friendly. Its fun and a great time killer. Personally, I think the only thing missing is the ability to make animations or gifs. But such a thing takes a lot of programming and I already love the app and respect what you have done with it so far. Just an idea :) keep up the good work!

Its AMAZING. I love how you can zoom in and choose the size (16 x16, 32 x 32,)(max is 128 x 128 I think). I used to use another app that was plain torture since I couldn't zoom in and it had these wierd white dots for some reason. LOVE this app, 10/10 would recommend.

Really intuitive and useful for pixel artists. I've tried a few apps and this one was the absolute best one I found! If I could make any criticism it would be to have custom canvas sizes and a traditional color system, but that's really not a big deal to lack.

Almost Perfect!....... I love everything about this app but I have one problem that is really frustrating......... the double finger movement thingy? It's hard to move around using ur two finger (my hand sweats alot) soooooo can u make like a hold or grab button so that it can move around easily......

I really like it, and it's offline, so I like it even more, and I can make pixel art on the go! One thing that I think would be really cool, is if you could use the app to make short pixel gifs, and that you could login to your art from other device! Say that you made a super hard art piece on your phone, and your phone breaks and dies forever, so you get a new phone, download this app, then you have your art! It's just an idea :3

Geez, no wonder why this is Editors Choice! This app is pretty good. One flaw, when I move the camera, sometimes pixels get painted, could you maybe add a move tool? Other than that, it's great!

This is a great and easy to use app, and I really enjoy it. However, there are a few things I reccomend. Some, for example being a way to import an image to use as reference, clear all option, and an option to string together multiple pieces to make an animation. Other than that, it's a great, simple app that fulfills its purpose.

Really good app. Best for android and largest size is 128x128 I personally recommend this app. it's best with people with very artistic talent or a fashion for art. However this app even without artistic design you can come up with really neat designs!

Easy to use. Has a back button it's like having the option to jump in game, its a must have. And when you leave or accidentally close it, it saves. So many times it has saved my life... A Must have!

I love this but I'd love it more if thier was a way to paste smaller designed templates onto bigger templates so you don't have to recreate a design all over again, or even better have a whole menu where you can combine and crop images with each other! Truly this is definately one of the best pixle art apps and I'd totally recommend this!

I like this app. It's simple, but not very limiting. My only problem with is zooming in and out. It's a bit frustrating, but other than that it's really good

It's a great pixel app. Don't like that the grid has to automatically disappear once you save your picture, but that may appeal to some folks.

I think that this is an excellent beginner app for ppl that like to paint pixelart. Its not very complicated, like Adobe Photoshop, so i can a sure you that you will not find this app tricky.

It packs a punch in a simple but great package. Colors are preset or pickable, only pet peeve is that you can't select a custom grid size, needs symmetry.

Really useful. Im not really into pixel art, I just needed an app that let me draw on grid paper, this is the only one that came close. Pretty decent app.

Nice pixly pixel editor. It crashes commonly but due to it saving so often, the crashes don't damn the app.

Nice simple editor to work with but as I found out after creating dozens of images, you cant cleanly export them to their actual size- for instance if I create a 16x16 image, when i actually save it to that size it is a blurry mess. If i save it as a 256x256 pixel image, it looks pretty much like I designed it, but with a much larger file size. This is a major problem as I planned to use this app for creating game assets when not at my computer, but without a way to cleanly export them it is effectively useless!

Everything's good but the ads. The ads take me to random websites even when I don't touch it. Fix this problem and I will rate 5 stars.

I really appreciate how intuitive the controls and menus are. Other apps I tried before were so clunky and frustrating in comparison.

Thus is a very good app! Accessible and convenient. I use it quite often. If there were to be added frames, and the ability to make gifs or at least export multiple images at once, it would be perfect. But it's still really good to use otherwise!

The system messes up the two fingers thing where if I try to zoom out or in it'll think I'm panning across the screen but very, very good job on this and I rated 4 stars because of the zoom issue, if you fix it I'll rate 5 stars. Great job!

I think that there should be just ONE more thing: a symmetry option. Because I need to constantly scroll and zoom to make things symmetrical, but I fails about a quarter of the time.

Love this app. There are things I would appreciate but I'm sure that's what the paid version is for. Exports nice bit art, blew my friends away!

It's really fun and I really like it, but... The dropper tool needs to have a function where you can open your gallery and drop colors in. I have been trying to get a certain color for a while now, and that color is in a photo, if I could use dropper to copy that color, it would be perfect!

I like this app and you can make cute art without Wi-Fi. But can you please make it easier to zoom in. I have problem and it will draw when I am zooming in. Please make it easier. But overall I like the app. It is fun. Please reply me if you fix it. Thanks

The ui is horrendus and takes very long to get used to. Placong pixels instead of zooming/moving screen. Otherwise fine.

This game is amazing, I've been spending hours apon hours on it and I truly think everyone should have this! The controls are really easy, the game is super tiny, and its altogether a great time killer! I recommended this to my little sister and she loves it to!

So far haven't had any issues using this app. It does everything is states here that it's supposed to do.

It's simple and efficient. Not overwhelming, though possibly a little underwhelming if you're looking for something for grand projects.

Hi I like your program it's very useful. However my one complaint is the lack of custom dimensions.

I had some difficulty scaling the canvas and I think layers would be a huge help. Other wise I had no problems . Pretty good. Nice one

The software is amazing simple to use and easy to navigate once you get the hang of a t but it should include a shade tool which may be a bit much for less advanced maker but It would greatly improve the overall ease of creation if it had this would get a 5 but very good nonetheless

I'd give it full stars if you could share, and save multiple artworks easier. That's the only problem I have with it.

This is the best app ever. I've been making artwork the past hour and it's amazing! The controls are simple and it's a very nice app. This has made me realize that I can do digital artwork, and I might want eventually sell this type of artwork. :3 thank you for making me happy! 10 out of 10, definitely download this

Great app for anyone who enjoys pixel art! Controls are easy and intuitive and I love the ammount of preset colours to pick from. If possible I would appreciate if further customisation of colour was offered allowing you to change the hue as well as brightness and saturation. Nevertheless an excellent app!
