THEY GIVE YOU A FREE TRIAL, AND PERSONALLY I THOUGHT THE MOVIES WERE PRETTY DATED, SO I TRIED TO CANCEL THE TRIAL, AND YOU CAN'T, DON'T BELIEVE TRY FOR YOURSELF, THE ONLY CONTACT INFO FOR THE COMPANY IS EMAIL, SO I EMAILED THEM AND THAT HAS BEEN 2 MONTHS AGO, THEY JUST KEEP BILLING AND BILLING, I'M STILL PAYING. DON'T GET SCAMMED. FACEBOOK HAS A PAGE THAT IS CALLED SCREAMBOX RIPOFF, READ THAT INFO.
Honestly I can not really rates this app yet, everytime I watch a movie it freezes up ,cuts off and start from the beginning, the little couple movies that I watched. Also I cannot stream from my tablet too none of smart TV's, I try looking in the setting and it's no setting. I know you guys just brought this app out or whatever, everything should have been up to date. Needs to be fixed immediately or unsubscribing.
Nexus 10 never has a problem with any streaming service. Not the case here. EVERY movie says "Error cannot play on this device". A Google app that doesn't work on a genuine Google device. Go figure
if you dont mind older or lesser known movies like i do, but the buffering issue has got to be addressed. I can go thru an afternoon with netflix and have no problems but I cant get thru a single film without an additional 30 to 45 minutes of buffering
Most of the shows i try to watch take forever to load. When it finally does load it will freeze at some point and restart from the beginning or crash the app. The selection available are either very old or very bad. I also do not like the fact that the app will not rotate with my screen. I will most likely not renew my subscription.
I DO love the movie selection. I HATE the Android app. App will not keep me logged into my updated/fully subscribed account. I keep getting shunted back to my free trial account, with limited selection and annoying prompts to "subscribe for full access". Emailed support and never got a reply. // needs to be fixed or I can't justify resubscribing.
I paid for the subscription which was a mistake, I have this on two different styles of laptops, 2 different styles tablets, and a playstation 3 which Screambox doesnt play on any of them. 3 things are happening: Constant buffering, black screen on video player, or movie plays in a fast foward mode but sound is fine. I am sending a message to refund money or fix problem, now. I will change my rating when these problems do.
Works great with my FireTV Stick & Galaxy Tab2 and desktop. Phone says it's not compatible, but it's an older phone. Only complaint is what others have voiced ... no search function and hitting back takes you all the way back.
I love the selection available but I have to restart the app every few minutes cuz it has stopped working. Super annoying while trying to watch a movie. Once the glitches get fixed, I would give it a four star.
I started my 14 day free trial today. I want even able to make it thru 1 full movie due to constant buffering. Every 1-2 minutes. I watch Netflix and att uverse on my 4G tablet all the time and never have this problem with those apps. Very bummed since I love horror movies.
I really wish there was a viewer rating system. My only real issue is that these movies skip and lag all the time. I have a great reliable connection, so not sure what the problem is. I like the variety of movies.
I don't mind paying 4 bucks a month for my horror fix. The problem is its streaming ability is dreadful and my Internet speed averages around 100mbp. Other than that no problems with it.
Got the app on my ps3 every other time the servers won't connect and the videos keep saying error. Netflix and Hulu work it's just this app that's messing up. Just downloaded the app on my galaxy tablet hope it works now..
Too many b movies. I'm a horror buff I watch all kinds but there should really be more popular types on here. Halloween, Friday 13th, chucky, etc. I was hoping for something more than I can get with Hulu or Netflix
Half the movies I watched were interrupted by a green screen, it was very annoying. I was promised another free trial but that was apparently a lie.
Plus when I hit resume, it starts from the beginning every single time. I know it's not my internet on my Google tablet ( RCG or RCA whatever it is tablet) because I can watch Netflix, Hulu and Amazon instant videos just fine.
I would love to give it a 5 star rating but not until they fix the problems with the freezing up. They have plenty of good movies I have not seen or even heard of, but please fix the problems or I will not keep Screambox after the free trial.
App stops working from time to time. Lots of horror content though. Fix the app and you'll get a better rating.
I pay monthly for this never to be able to watch a full movie. It keeps freezing up on me. And I have to start over and fast forward to where I was watching and it freezes up again.
I don't recommend getting a membership to screambox. While it is only 3.99 a month, their app for watching movies has a lot of technical issues. It plays movies upside down on my tablet. Their app stops working several times while watching a movie. When it stops working, it won't resume from where you left off. It even stops working when you try to back out of the app. They have customer complaints with similar issues back in 2014 that have still not been fixed. While it is a good place for horror movies, I won't support them with my money until they fix their issues. For now I'll just stick to Netflix and Hulu. I haven't had any technical difficulties with their apps.
App on my Samsung smart TV freezes. When is does play, the audio is out of sync with the film.
Movies skip and freeze! Skipping is a sign of bad programming! Can't believe I paid for a year of this! You better fix it!
I love this service solves so many issues with finding good/bad horror movies. BUT! Why no android TV? Would think this would be the first platform to build for.
Love , love , love it. Works great .. Never have any issues with not playing , works on my tablet, computer and my XBox One . Great app just keep adding more movies and it will be even better . Also for $3.99 a month you cant beat the price.. I will be continuing my subscription ...
Great movies on this app would rate it a 5 but it freezes up consistantly please fix this problem immediately or i will be forced to cancel my membership.
I have not used it very much yet but it has worked fine so far, no crashing,freezing or random restarts.

Cant honestly give it a full rate yet but it works good and i love horror but ive only had it for a short time
Im not one to leave negative feedback. Instead, I try to find the good in most things. Of course, their are going to be bugs. Google has been at it for years. Every software update has bugs. You were kind enough to give me thirty days. I get to navigate, learn it, ect... it will get better with time. All I can say is TY for letting me enjoy this service for free. I like what I see so far. I'm sure I will keep it. keep adding as much as u can with good quality. Nice job guys...
Can you please add more movies like child's play Freddie and Jason Michael Myers poltergeist etc. But other then that works great.
True horror fan I enjoy the 70's- 90's there arent a whole bunch but great so far. Hope they keep adding movies

I am uninstalling it. The app will no longer play on my tablet??? Don't know why, but I loved it and I paid the 3.99 subscription fee
Freezes but maybe it could be my cable provider? Idk.
The movie constantly starts over ever 2 mins. I've downloaded the app and it still don't work. #Refund
I had a samsung galaxy tab 4 it work fine but bought a samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition n tryed to play it said it cant play on this device
Freezes every 20 seconds. If it is not fixed I will cancel my membership. Love the variety of movies though, so please fix!
Just closes and won't play anything. Worthless. Have to go to the actual web site if you want to watch.

I like it.... Good variety of horrors to choose from, and a good portion makes me feel like jumping out of my skin, lol..... That's when you know you got good movies.... My only issue with it, is when the movies seem to freeze and play again. But love it nonetheless!!!!
