UwianoApp - Platform for Peace

UWIANO Platform for Peace was to contribute to peaceful pre- and post-referendum processes. Its specific objectives were:
a) To build partnerships of national actors
b) To strengthen conflict early warning and early response
c) To establish a solid foundation for national cohesion and integration for a peaceful and prosperous Kenya.
During the period under review the Platform carried out:
i. Conflict Mapping
ii. Consolidating partnerships including national and local level coordination
iii. Sponsored International Day of Peace.
iv. Data collection and analysis
v. Rapid Response and Intervention
vi. Monitoring and Evaluation
vii. Documentation of the peace process
