Barreled - Whiskey Ratings

I need an app to remember what I thought of each whisky, for future use. You can't keep a record of your ratings, but you can keep a collection and therefore have different lists for how good/bad the whiskies are. Issue is that you can't delete a whisky once its in a list, so you can't change your mind. Functionality is built to build up whisky ratings, but for no real benefit to yourself once you've rated it. Change that and it's a brilliant app

The information in these reviews are useless. Most are just barrel ratings with no explanation. Judging from some of the comments some reviewers have no clue about whiskey especially scotch. Save time and effort and join whiskey groups on facebook.

This could be the beginning of something wonderful. Search function severely lacking leading to many duplicate adds. Can't find other folks who I know are using the app as well. Social aspects are light...I am using Untappd as the baseline here which may be unfair.

It's great to have an app to help remember scotch scotches I've had and what I thought of them. This app is very nice but could use an upgrade to be more user friendly.

I am eager to see it's improvement. Great app with a great icon. Will continue to use this to keep track of the things that I taste.

Hard to search for whiskey in order to write a review

Would be cool if it was more like untapped with badges and accomplishments.

It's the best whiskey review app that I've found, but it really pales in comparison to beer review app Untappd. Need ability to add pictures and location. Whiskey library is also fairly limited, although it is easy to add new items to the database. Also would like to be able to track country/state of origin, whiskey type (rye, Bourbon, etc), maybe even how it was consumed (straight up, rocks, etc).

I had some initial trouble immediately after download where the database was not loaded correctly, I emailed support and received quick response and resolution - looking forward to building my collection now!

It tells me that it cannot find any whiskey I enter, even if it shows up on the list. It will not allow me to rate anything.

Doesn't have makers mark listed won't let me add it. Development team should be embarrassed!!!

Better than distiller in my opinion, I wish it had the recommend like distiller. Overall great app

Great app seems to be community reliant which is great because it's pretty close to up to date with every whiskey on the market. Only slight fixed I'd like to see would be more customization of the my collections page like "number of bottles" or the ability to comment on inventory. Also being able to edit or remove bottles you add I've accidentally put proof instead of Abv and couldn't correct... (obviously I know I didn't pay anything for this so who am I to judge, please take this as suggestions)

For claiming to be social app it lacks almost everything you would expect a social app would have. Needs to have some simple locations, maybe add friend from other networks, take pictures of labels or bar codes...

The search function seems to be lacking. Often it doesn't seem to find what I'm attempting to rate. But then I click on a distiller and I find many many entries of the same whiskey. (See how many entries there are for knob creek single barrel under knob creek).

I like how it incorporates reviews from professional critics as well as from the users. It would be nice if the app had a dark theme.

The database is large, and the ability to save/review all your whiskys is great. However, I wish there were a way to explore more whiskys by some other way than search. A list of similar whiskys or the top rated whiskys would be nice. Also, I'd like the ability to scan bar codes.

As a happy Untappd user I can't help but to compare and this app is pretty good. Not great yet but pretty good. One thing I would really like to see is the ability to link and auto push check ins / reviews to social apps. Especially Swarm and FB

Ok, this is a great app for whiskey drinkers. However, I don't find it very user friendly, especially after you've been drinking whiskey.

Good content but navigation can use a little work. Can also add some sort features to user content.

Looking up your favorite or add to your wish list

Overall the best app I've found for Bourbon drinkers. Still needs to add some additional social features and I'd love some incentive to remember to list each time I've had a particular type like untappd but certainly on its way.
