K-@ Mail - Email App

I was using k9,for a couple of years for features like leaving your pop mail on the server when you delete from phone.. Together with being free, add free, fast, great notifications...able to handle a dozen accounts, rich text editing, easy encryption, versatile settings efficient, a nice preview widget, easy setu and fast and responsive tech support to clarify a couple of things I was doing wrong. It boggles my mind that it's not number one in downloads.. The ones that have higher rank are inferior... Update 2017, have tried every email app, it's still the best...

Broken. The Sync is not working at all the client itself keeps freezing without downloading anything or notifying. The only good thing was the image handling which is better then K9 client. Still looking for an hotmail client which notifies every minute if I got a new mail :(

I have loved K@ Mail from the first time I used it years ago, primarily because of how it handles folders..,. I can choose which folders are displayed and synced and since my work mail has many folders that I dont need to be looking at this is the only app I found that can handle that situation. Since I upgraded to a phone with Nougat, however, K@mail no longer keeps my mail updated when the screen is off. I believe this may have something to do with Android Doze and Version 1.15 is supposed to handle it better than previous iterations, but for me, my mail is not current when I unlock my screen and I have to refresh all my folders. ON Android 6, anytime I opened K@mail, everything was all current, all emails were synced, even if they arrived while the phone was screen off/sleeping. Now that is not the case anymore and I have to remember to refresh my folders. For me this is not a deal breaker, but its certainly an annoyance and I hope the devs are able to come up with a solution. Nonetheless, I highly recommend K@ Mail

latest update has broken reply function. When you reply none of the to address information gets entered and worse still it deletes from and subject information from the original.

Aftet developer response, uninstalled! VERY unwilling to work with end users requests. Every other email app allows for the floating button to be disabled. These REFUSE to allow this option...see response ti this review! Placement is in the typical scrolling area and I keep hitting the button! Allow this to be disabled, I will update ratings.

Not even trying to pull emails with scheduled sync according to logs. And no, this is not Doze issue. Was working well on Marshmallow but not on Nougat. Please update with fix...

I bought this for $4.95. I wouldn't recommend it because the email writer button gets in the way of reading the emails and makes it very very annoying when you're trying to check your messages or folders. You can't set it to show pictures of email's. Every time you send a email you have to advertise them unless you remember to uncheck it. It also functions very unfriendly.

It doesn't load email. I look at it and it just looks right back at me. . . Not much else. Junk!

Excellent free email with no limit to the number of accounts. Unlike gmail, K-@ Mail deletes emails nicely without them reappearing later on.

Oh, so you force your own signature now, eh? No, you don't get to tell me what my signature is going to be to make me pay you money. That is not the deal.

I agree with another user that the location of the floating action button is annoying. At least give the option to relocate it. I've hit it so many times, that I think I'll find another email app for my phone. Haven't updated my tablet and I won't! Don't know what the icon guidelines are that are mentioned, but I don't see a floating icon on other apps.

It hasn't been updating and even if I do it manually, it doesn't always work. I use K9 because I have multiple accounts and it's been great up until recently. Please, I don't want to change apps again.

Till today 30/10/16 no one from this TERRIBLE apps follow up on my problem encountered few weeks ago.Just keep on giving me TICKET But no follow up action. Bunch of liars who claim that they will follow up on my case but never at all folloe up. Paid for the Pro version but encountered some problem.Sent out email to support team 10 days ago and no one bothers to reply. What is this ?? Beware of this email provider. Was working well until a few weeks ago. I have to manually poll my accounts. I am running Nougat so could be a compatibility issue. Will need to switch apps until this us fixed

Hello, thought I'd try here for a response. I was just wondering if your support team are on holidays? I've sent two emails one about a problem and the second about something else, and also about the first email. All I got were responses about it being received.

Cannot save mail folder in External SD card. Even selected it , mail folder is stored in device internal storage only storage

Kindly hide / Remove the Reply button in the email open Message, its comes in every screenshot

It seems to work ok on wifi, however it chews up data at a horrendous rate on my mobile.

Incoming mail, stays marked as unread new mail since the last update. Also, email not deleting from the Gmail server and it is set to delete. Please fix.

Pro icon disappeared from both app folder and also launch app is not present in play store installed app properties window. Confirmed on Android 6.1 and 7 dp4

Love the easy edit of FORWARDed emails, especially on deleting email addresses contfained in forwards to protect privacy... BUT it needs access to a full CONTACTS LIST so the author can SCAN the contacts and PICK who to BCC.. I also like having RECEIVED NOTIF'S well as OPENED NOTIFS. The automatic no password account setup is a nice touch. One last suggestion, dont have http: pre-filled in the editing of links because https is often needed.

The main issue is that it has trouble syncing a full diary of sent emails. Only the emails sent while using K-Mail are displayed. Will not show sent emails if you use Gmail's native app or through another email program. Even when you press the "load more" option it doesn't display additional sent emails.

Much more to be desired for a paid clone of free app... UI is far from gorgeous. At least stick to the material design if intended to implement it.

After installing Android 6.0.1 the unread counter dosen't work on my Sony xperia z3

Been using the paid version for couple of years and mostly like the app but they do have constant bugs.
