Wofür wir stehen

Unsere vier Prinzipien lauten:

religio (Religion, Glaube, Katholizitätsprinzip)
patria (Vaterland, Heimat)
scientia (Wissenschaft, Bildung)
amicitia (Lebensfreundschaft)

Religio bedeutet für uns Bekenntnis zum katholischen Glauben, Leben nach christlichen Grundsätzen, Miterfüllung des Sendungsauftrages der Kirche, brüderliche und schwesterliche Verbundenheit mit anderen Christen und Respekt vor dem, was in anderen Religionen wahr und heilig ist.

Amicitia bedeutet für uns brüderliche und schwesterliche Zusammengehörigkeit und Pflegen lebenslanger, Generationen übergreifender Freundschaften. Wir erwarten Initiative und Übernahme von Verantwortung.

Scientia bedeutet für uns zielstrebiges Studium, unvoreingenommenes, lebenslanges Streben nach Erkenntnis, Vordenken, Beschreiten neuer Wege und interdisziplinärer Erfahrungsaustausch.

Patria bedeutet für uns Engagement für Demokratie und Gesellschaft, die Republik Österreich und ein gemeinsames Europa.

Wir möchten hier anmerken, dass wir keinerlei Sympathie für schlagende Verbindungen sowie Burschenschaften hegen, geschweige denn Kontakte zu diesen haben. What we stand for

Our four principles are:

Religio means for us commitment to the Catholic faith, life after Christian principles, Miterfüllung the mission order of the Church, Fraternal communion with other Christians and respect for what is true and holy in other religions.

Amicitia means for us and sisterly togetherness and maintain fraternal life-long, intergenerational friendships. We expect the initiative and assume responsibility.

Scientia means purposeful study, unprejudiced, lifelong pursuit of knowledge, thinking ahead, innovate and interdisciplinary experience for us.

Patria means commitment to democracy and society, the Republic of Austria and a common Europe for us.

We would like to note here that we harbor no sympathy for striking connections and fraternities, let alone have contacts with these. Such attitude is not compatible with our Catholic values.
