My ONE20 - Truck Safe GPS for Android
On my phone this app will do portrait. But on this Tablet it will only do landscape. Please fix. Also older versions of CoPilot would zoom out to 4-5mi to the edge of the screen for 3d mode. This version is only about 2.2mi . it would be AWESOME if you could get ahold of one of those earlier versions. Other then that this would be a 5star app if you could fix those 2 things. Lastly My One20 maps is a bandwidth hog for those of us that drive over 100k mi a year. If we have cell coverage at all. So don't bother suggesting.
Left my trucking GPS at home and needed something to get me by until I could get it. The app gets you by but has took me to wrong places quite a bit down no truck roads too. Highway is fine but I would suggest looking closely at your route before hand and check bridge clearances and no truck routs and match them with the route. A temporary fix using this app but feel better with my trucking GPS.
The navigation uses the old version of the ALK Co-pilot that I've been using for years. For me it works great. What I don't like is that you can't have the map in horizontal mode only in vertical which is useless if one is using a tablet like I am.
Great for phones, not so much for tablets. Any tablet over a couple years old probably will not run this app but, on a phone, the app does exactly the same thing as Co-Pilot except without the $9.95 a month charge.
This app is using ALK CoPilot's maps and in fact using their exact same menus and settings. I'm leering of the revenue situation with this app since CoPilot charges for their apps. CoPilot software is already complex but embedding it within another app makes it worse. While I welcome more app solutions for truck routing on Android, I've been disappointed with ALK's maps for years. They're perpetually slow to update, their lane guidance and speed limits are bad compared to HERE and TomTom and they don't have real world signpost data. If this app remains free then the maps are worth the cost and this is better than nothing.
When the power cord for my Rand McNally GPS failed and I was in the five boroughs, this app came through for me to find my customers. I've seen reviews where they have said that the update has made this app useless. If this app is useless, I would have loved to have discovered this before it was useless, because I believe it may have been the greatest app ever created at that point.
I tested this app with my Rand McNally TND720 and discovered this app failed miserably. I had to detour in Walterboro SC because the I95 Northbound to the I26 was shutdown due to a massive accident involving a 18 wheeler. I used my Rand McNally to detour the complete leg of the I95 but when I tried to detour with this app it kept trying to redirect me back to the I95. Also while driving on highway 15 the app kept warning me I was on a restricted route but this was not true. The Rand McNally didn't indicate any warnings and there were no signs posted to indicate no trucks allowed. Will be deleting this app from my phone.
Installed the app, installed maps, hangs when determining GPS location. Location services works just fine under Google. Doesn't work which makes it useless to me.
Well this was a waste to time and effort. I tried loading the maps and use the truck safe route just for the system to tell me that there were no route I guess maybe it would work with google maps and risk getting somewhere you should not go
Had it a while back but forgot password. Requested a new one and each time I enter it it says temp password wrong. Then requested another new one, same outcome. Once again disappointed in what was "Supposed" to be a great app. Fix your stuff before you become obsolete!
Absolute trash. Heaven forbid you forget your password. Recovery is an endless Loop. And the response from tech sucks. I'll stick to the apps that work
It's so confusing, and doesn't have even the basic functions like turn off the sound of GPS. Then, it doesn't run in background. The zoom in and the zoom out are poor. When I will see the basic improvement, I will be back for a 5 stars review. I promise.
Good concept but needs lots of improvement. It crashes too much, every time you switch window the app crashes also like to history options but there is none. The route options are very poor.
I really love this app this is the first time another trucker show me it. So I bought a tablet so I can get a better view instead of just using my phone. I love it the only issue I have is it won't rotate from panoramic view to Portrait view on my tablet. Hope there's any way you can help me figure this out fix that i appreciate it.
Your maps are out of date..I put in address and either address not found or takes me the long route... still haven't found how to set it to no toll roads
The app is ok but the only problem I have with it is alot of the streets aren't showing up that i need in my route to get to my customers. And now the app is having issues determining my GPS location
This is not a truck friendly GPS app, routing through residential areas, uturns on 2 way streets, areas clearly marked no trucks. This app is only good on interstates. Do not use in cities.
Updated real-time traffic updates & closed roads, Estimated delivery & pick up times in real-time. Updated truck parking, truck stops and Wal-Mart's. Which includes phone numbers to those businesses.
There are some serious bugs in the app. If I switch apps, when I return it recalculates my route to a previous destination, and it always crashes if I have the phone in landscape.
Being forced off CoPilot and directed or prompted to buy there truck app. Glad I found this which is the old app and style thanks one20. One happy trucker.????
I'm sitting in Houston Tx an it show that I'm in Africa now how is that goin to help me at all I downloaded it again in north of Los Angeles this time an its showing me in Canada I restarted me phone an nothing has changed my brother is a truck driver too who uses this app an it works for him so I wanted to check it out but no go
This app is not support my screen resolutions Samsung Galaxy S8 plus. And keeps crashing all the time. Have to remove it. I wish I could try it....
I think I could get with this app, but everytime I exit and go to another app, my multi-stop arrangement goes right back to my first stop that I created. Kinda annoying having to put the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th destinations in when you come back onto the app.
This pc miler data base is out dated in quite a few areas, I've been led to roads that don't exist quite a few times, still it's pretty handy for staying on approved routes...
Couldn't even use, closed 3 times before I even got to see what app was like. AND I HAVE A NEW SAMSUNG PHONE, AND THIS APP IS MADE BY SAMSUNG!!!
It glitched out and the map goes black. Reinstalled it but now the North Ametica map won't freaking download past 64.8 k.
Look I always use this app, but after an update I can see the map! I USED TO LOVE THIS APP, BUT I DON'T KNOW WATH HAPPENED AFTER THE UPDATE!?????
Use to live by it ...now it's asking to download maps and says "Download error when attempting to download. Sucks major ass now!
Congrats, your last update made the app completely USELESS!
Went with a smaller company, they are updating there in truck QC. System, so I decided to try My one 20 again. Only used it for a few trips, but one out of the 3 trips this app. Failed, but sticking with it for now.
Works just like Copilot without the 9.95 a month. No WiFi when it says can't find location just OK then hit navigate
So far this app has led me away from low bridges and has gotten me to my shippers n consignee with out a problem
This used to be a great app. Recently it stopped showing routes and started bugging out. Please fix the bugs
Used it for New York City. Worked out great, except for some signs for exits were different. Be great if app would adjust to how your phone is positioned(upside down, sideways).
Still need a little work on speed limit corrections and legal truck route Other than that add current weather conditions to the map while in use and it would be the best
This app took me through some very wrong places in New York, just awful.
It sucks its not even finding my location and i have great service...its just blank????
Works great on the One20 tablet, but has a few shortcomings on mobile devices. The biggest of which are the app will not rotate to landscape mode, and it doesn't seem to have the option to display 3D map w/ turn by turn directions. Using it on A Samsung Galaxy Note8.
This app Is gonna get somebody killed it really needs to update

I tried both this app and the new version for the first time last night. This app is better. Yes apparently the new version has more features that i didn't access but this one is way more straightforward. On this app when you click on navigate it gives you the option to download the map first. I dont know if the new version does that but i couldnt figure out how to download the map. Secondly the new app was telling me to turn a little too late while this one is spot on but that may have to do with the fact that i was actually able to download. Thirdly the navigation display in this app is so much easier to read on than on the newer one. In terms of utilizing a safe truck route, well it was giving me a way better route than google maps.
