About NAME Conference 2017
This is the official app of the National Association for Multicultural Education Annual Conference. This year’s meeting will be held at Hilton Salt Lake City Center in Salt Lake City, UT, November 1-5, 2017

For 27 years, the National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME) has provided quality breakout, keynotes, panels, the NAME Film Festival, great networking and resources to our members and attendees. Our NAME Conference brings together International, national, regional and local association professionals to contribute to the mix of ideas on how to improve education through Multicultural Education. Our annual meetings provide opportunities for NAME members to attend sessions presented by NAME scholars, emerging scholars and activists. Past keynote speakers include Angela Davis, Jim Banks, Carl Grant, Sonia Nieto, Christine Sleeter and Linda Darling Hammond. This year Wayne Au, Glorida Ladson Billing, Marilyn Cochran-Smith and Donna Deyhle will join us, along with other NAME leaders. Networking opportunities, including a welcome reception, morning meetings, a book signing reception, an Intertribal Pow Wow, and the 5th annual Dine and Dialogue, to help NAME members share ideas and make lasting connections.
