LCARS Dialer

Unfortunately, I was disappointed to download this app and realize that it will not operate at all unless you purchase the LCARS UI app. I had been doing quite a bit of looking around to pick out the right apps to completely overhaul my entire phone into an LCARS appearance with full functionality. I had intended this app to be part of the grand plan, and was my final installment. But low and behold, the app won't function on its own, and I am not interested in downloading the LCARS UI and using alot of memory needlessly. I encourage the developer to re-evaluate his business model, and to also review the descriptions of these apps to help potential downloaders more easily understand what these two apps are and what they do. A low priced, functional stand alone LCARS dialer app would probably be more appealing to more people than a bloaty LCARS UI simulation app.

This is by far the best app I've ever seen for a Star Trek dialer what you download the 2 dollar Star Trek UI it's a piece of cake just takes a few hours to learn to program. Once you increase the text size and the size of the LCARS console panel just got to play around the buttons and figure out what they're doing. pretty cool.I Also have matching startrek themes from go SMS and contacts and other various star trek items, you just have to search the play store an take you' time

Crashes a lot, when I accept a phone call it loops but if I reject it rejects. The parent app is still worth it on its own. I have to disable the dialer but I won't delete yet cuz I hope there's a update. I'm a supporter of this app and you should try it to see if it works for you

What does DND Off or DND On stand for?

I uninstaled the dialer and reinstalled it the problem with the sensor is gone now. Thank for such a great app guys. Hey and how about the lcars tricorder :-D

Seems to work fine now. Dev has gone out of their way to fix problems I had, which for a free addon is great support. Thank you omnicorp!

I'm replying to your answer. well think of it like this if u have 3 to 4 different types of medical cards tell me whould it be better to have it all in one? One medical card does all the things u need to do. So tthe same principal with tis app if you put in a vid, of the ui that this goes to then why creat this app, if you where to have it in with that lcars ui now that makes sense. I know couse i have 3 medical cards and i found one that does it all, in one. How ever good app not bad but put it in one pamt

Can't use app without purchasing another one

Mines never answer when using the slide bar. Luckily I just keep my phone on voice activated so it just looks cool when I answer the phone back. Please fix that feature though. I love the apps & I wish U would Make more. Something like engineering problems or yellow / Red alert scenarios or sensor surveys or something mysterious that can be played out thru the live action wall paper theme of U already have it. I also already have the LCARS database so U should update that & use that as a platform.

Keeps crashing when i get a incoming call

It works. But it's not as easy to use than the Touchwiz dialer.

Like I said ah Ho oh no well I have to purchase the full lcars ui. So tell me what's the sens of haveing a phone dialer if it going to require a full lcars UI makes no sens. Don't install it save ya trouble and effort from sending something like this.

This is based as close as you would expect a LCARS phone to look like. I'm sure if Michael Okuda saw this he would rate this a five star! It use to have bugs. But the dev has been constantly fixing, improving and adding features. Thanks for helping make my phone a great Trek phone!

got both ui an dialer.. ui is 3★(lotta stuff i'll never figure out or use..) but the dialer is quite the amazing app.. still kinda "plain" grafic so whya 4rate...

Don't know how often u read these comments, but this is really great app And yes I think Mr. R would be proud. And u with the three o'clock in the morning nights or something..lol. crazy hrs. Duh..any way. I bought it twice,one for my phone and one for my Verizon tab. Thx duder....

Love the dialer just one complaint, there's this annoying pop up box that keeps showing up when ever trying to use the dialer saying something about Java script not being inabled or something. It's a really a great app I love it but that pop up thingy is annoying as hell if you could please get rid of it that would make thew dialer alot smoother.

Only issue is a delay in switching to text on an S3

This is a great Star Trek theme for calling people. Makes being a fan that much cooler

Superb. Absolutely superb. Works better and better with each update. Now I can receive those Priority 1 messages from Star Fleet in style.

Well it pops up and says the name so that is fixed but the slider to answer the call doesn't work! Now I am missing my calls!

I'm rewriting this review because after writing the original critical review in January the developer went to great lengths to sort out all my issues and it works much better. It just goes to show that I should have contacted him first!

Wish this was my stock dialer

This developer's LCARS apps are rewarding if you take the time to explore them. It looks great on my LG g2 after I spent some time in the different settings menus, adjusting and tweaking the graphics. Not everything works to its fullest potential but the things that do work are a lot of fun.

I love this dialer! If you want to feel like you have a handheld LCARS device, I highly recommend this! There are so many additional features, the graphics are super, and it's just plain fun! Nicely done!
