Auto Screen On

Love it but a lot of times screen turns on in pocket and doesn't turn off resulting in accidental dialing of emergency numbers or unlocks the screen by itself due to skin rub on touch screen. If an option can be added where screen stays off if proximity sensor is blocked like when the phone is in pocket then it would avoid accidental dialing.

Just a suggestion for possible improvement: in the twice touch mode, can you add an option to set a required minimum time interval between the first tap and second tap for it to execute screen on? Just a thought to minimize false detection

Great easy.But it doesnt work occasionally after 15 minutes or more if phone not used. I chose never stop. Still. Longest wake up time out is only 20 sec. I guess its why it doesnt work. Increase it. Only 1.36 mb. Proximity sensor doesnt work right on my phone. I tried to detect but couldnt, can someone tell me where is exactly? My phone LG Optimus L9-P769.

1. Saves my main power button from over usage & 2. Solved the problem of turning screen on which went black during call.

this app work well for a while, but today it not work... need to reinstall... this happen morethan twice... hope will fix soon

It's really useful for my sony xperia Z1 it works great without draining my battery.. Now i can save my power button from being damage in the long run :-)

This saved my phone from a trip to the service center since my power button got broken. I do wish it has sound when it turns the screen on.

This app is a lifesaver! My phone's wake/sleep button stopped working for whatever reason so this was just what I needed

I am confuse with g- sensor.. I mean does it refers to gyroscope or accelerometer.

I find it makes using the phone an absolute pleasure. Great for little adjustments and checks for notifications. I also have wrist pain and it helps with that. Much appreciated. Thank you

When the phone is in pants its unlocked even due to slightest touch on the proximity area.. Probably a feature of touch pattern to unlock can save a lot of battery

App needs a sensor control, and administrator privileges. Can't understand, with all of those other settings, how you missed those.

Turn on your phone by passing your finger twice in front of the proximity sensor - this beats them all! No start by error, because you put something in front of it, it has to happen twice. Perfect!

It doesn't seem to be a problem with the tablet since the app Shake Screen-On works perfectly. But I have to admit that this is the only one I could find. I use the G-sensor in both cases and set the sensitivity in the other app very high (what is a bit confusing since high is the lowest setting value there). Perhaps this app needs higher sensitivity too or it just gets killed by the system. I have tried all possible settings with the G-sensor but nothing really helped. Proximity I don't want to use.

I think this app deserves 10 stars. The sobriety of the menu and how it's so self explanatory is amazing. You deserve a medal, man!

Wanted to keep the wear & tear from using the power button. Working great so far.

Runs well but could u add a screen lock-off via proximity?

Update: It does very well as far as turning on the screen without having to push a button. I can pause this functionality without unlocking the phone which is great so the screen doesn't keep coming on and off every time I move it. I'm still hoping to find an app that will allow me to put the screen to sleep but NOT lock the device instantly.

This app is the best and advance in nature. It does exactly what the description says. Thanks to the inteligent developer.

Doesn't work,on a samsung galaxy prevail

After using for several months, d program shows some of its errors. The sensor turns off on its own, even though sleep & time out is deactivated. Some times d program behaves weird, no response using proximity sensor. Pl give updates.

Little slow .... If the response is improved then surely 5stars but its okay or can say average

but because of the bug he mentioned, the screen timeout doesn't work. I estimate that it consumes around 5-10% of battery power, not sure if that's high or low, but i'm okay with it for now. Best of all, there are no ads! I've tried a lot of these apps out there, and I'm really happy with this one so far that I've actually kept it and monitored the power usage. I was using smart screen but that had ads so I uninstalled it.

Thank you for this app. This helps me a lot, specially that my power button stops working. I've install a lot of app and I kinda lost hope but this app addresses what I really need. Screen tends to open in the pocket & takes photos and videos. Not very accurate proximity sensors or g-sensor

It works well. I do not use home button any more.

Can u make a feature where Auto Screen on is stopped for a certain duration (maybe 60 mins, etc.) if this will help save battery. Because most often I do not need to use it again soon. This will help also with accidentally wakeing up the phone right away. Thank you. Enjoy using this app.

Its excellent.. The most sensible one i have used... This is a keeper..the flip case turns screen off even before it touch the screen unlike the others that the case has to rest on the screen to turn it off and activates apps by mistakes sometimes without knowing. Keep up the good work

All I need, that's it. I've been using it for a while. It does what the description says. No more, no less. Efficient and easy to use. So far, all updates request privileges that match the functionality - i.e. no privacy leakage (no "full network access", no "read your contacts", etc).

Worked great on my old phone running gingerbread but won't work on my new phone with Kit Kat.

I compare this app to other proximity sensor app unlock, this one seems using less battery. Well seems buggy on old gingerbread phone screen turning on itself without swipe or touching proximity sensor btw it's a Yamaha sensor.

Works great, so far. Adds both the always listening and proximity wake features that I was looking for. Haven't tested battery consumption yet but so far so good. Makes my great phone even better!

Everything fine except the Screen-off Timeout. Minimum 5 minutes is too much for me. I'd prefer 10-15 seconds, not more. Another nice to have feature (root required) is to recognize "Power" button pressed (not the screen timeout ended) and disable the Screen-off Timeout right now.
